Thanks for your work. I will try soon.
Working fine so far. Apart from my battery which got stuck on and never charged beyond 52% overnight.
No simple potential fix for me apart from to flash another kernel and see if that fixes it.
Every ROM I've tried the earpiece when on a phone call is obnoxiously loud. As in people across the room can hear my phone calls... Hopefully this one is different.
We are working hard now on this ROM, soon will be some interst feature: Profiling for performance/thermal/color mode/etc by apps, and some other powersave features.
I have test it for a month as daily before post here Work fine. If u have any question, please ask it in Telegramm, it will be more quick.

This rom is great???
Ok there was definitely something not right. Dash charge (pretty much charging full stop) was completely broken. Tried some other recent builds and same problem. I was on correct firmware and clean flashed too.
Back to MIUI and charging completely fine again.
It was drawing only 50mA after dropping quickly after plugging in. Was so bad it wasn't even charging overnight.
Seems like a programmer forgot to delete this joke

Hy there.I flashed after I clean data system cache.I came from globerom.I'd lime to play a litle with this rom but I have a huge problem...I can't register my fingerprint anymore....If I restore globerom it's working....with baikal or any other custom rom fingerprint register is failed.Do you know how can I fix this withput format data?

Flashing Instructions:

Great ROM, very soft. @BenLue could you consider bringing also the AOSP EXTENDED or Cardinal-AOSP to the S4? I really wanted to work on it but I'm without a PC. The only one I have in the Work but I can not use it Win7 is with several BOX on it and installing Linux is out of the question, since they do not support linux.
Are there double tap to wake on this rom??

I dont think the hardware of our beloved s4 is capable of the double tap to wake. Correct me if im wrong.
I just installed it and it looks good at the first view.
But i think there is no default color selection dialog in this ROM. E.g. when i want to change the calendar color in CalDAV, it says that there is no app to handle this request.

** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
1) Toogle to disable hardware button doesnt work.
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

Initial impressions after couple of hours of usage.

Lots of customization
10/10 so far.
Finally this rom has breath again for zuk z2..
I flashed this ROM and the following may be noted
1. No FCs and No random reboots.
2. Magisk can be used to root and it works.
3. Volte works but one will have to enable it from settings.
4. There is no heating, but I don't play heavy games.
5. Deep sleep works.
6. It is smooth and touch response is good.
7 sound is OK, but if one wants to enjoy music, flash the module viper4android fx from magisk.
8. One ca n increase the microphone sound from kernel aduitor by going to sound.

Thank you, Jomadeto, for the rom. Just a simple problem, the sensitivity of raising the phone to wake up, its sensitivity is annoyingly high, and I did not see it in the 11th version that I did. Please understand what I mean.

This rom works without problems for me. Bankapps and netflix no problems. Will this get more security updates or do I have to switch to the Android 11 cr droid- ROM? I'm hesitating because this one

CLEAN FLASH/First Time Installation :
Download the latest build (Both Vanilla [Non-gapps] and Gapps builds are available)
First Make sure recovery is installed. (LineageOS recovery works fine as of now)
Reboot to recovery
Make nandroid backup (Not Necessary, but just in case if you lost somewhere)
Perform Factory Reset/Format
Choose - Apply update from ADB
then sideload the lastest build - adb sideload latest-Build.zip
package sideloads till 47% and you can skip Signature verification.
Reboot to System
DIRTY FLASH :
Download the latest build
Reboot to recovery
Flash the latest build
Wipe Cache
Reboot
Note: GApps only has to be flashed once whereas Magisk/Su is to be flashed every time you Dirty Flash the OTA Update.

Does the kernel has the modules for WireGuard VPN? (much better performance, and less battery drain).

I don't have WireGuard built in, although if it's something people would like to see I can build it on the next release.
That would be great/awesome if you can build it in, I use WireGuard 24/7 to make a secure connection to my ip camera's at home, and my home assistant.
Hey, it would be awesome if we could get a build that uses Edrick's 4.14 "X-ft" kernel. Currently the only rom that supports it is the AOSP12.1 build for the 5T.

I'll see if I can use it/what I have to change to support it. The DotOS source is kinda WIP right now tho, so it might take a bit.
