About Alter_Play​
This is a custom kernel compiled by myself for lenovo a7000 aka aio_row.The kernel is based on official source code released by Lenovo OpenSource Team+tweaks and modification from my side.
the name alter play was put to my kernel randomly since short form of it and my name(Aswin Pradeep) were the same!phyco move by myself .Note that this kernel currently supports only MM(android 6.x) based roms like vibe,cm13,RR,PAC,AICP11,AOPS6.0,etc....(there are tons of roms in fact)

*Fixed LED notification(tested green LED working for whatsapp on RR rom)

*tried overclocking alike N kernel but it dosent seem to work(developers,i will be very thankful if u help me with it)
*Made a flashable zip for every Rom
HOW TO USE IT?
*download the kernel
*go to twrp and take a backup of boot[must] (<- restore it in case you want to go revert back to your old setup)
*flash Alter_Play_byAP.zip(TWRP 3.0.2-1 by rohan taneja is preferred)
*reboot the device,go to about phone and check if the kernel is changed,if yes you are ready to go :highfive:
WHAT IF THE ABOVE STEP DOSENT WORK?
In case if the above steps dosent work,it dosent mean that you can't enjoy the kernel.of cource you can but its a bit tricky.watch this video.(the same tool is available for windows meachines too),the zimage can be found by extracting the flashable zip.
TO CONTROL THE VIBRATOR INTENSITY DOWNLOAD THIS APP Play Store AND THEN OPEN THE MISC OPTION TO CONTROL THE VIBRATOR INTENSITY.
TO CHOOSE GOVERNORS AND ACTIVATE WAKE MODES USE KERNEL AUDITOR.

Eventhough i specified that v1.1 boots nougat roms,cant be sure of it since no roms are available to test it out right nw.However its sure that it wont work on aosp7.1.1 and pixel ui since they are based on LP kernel and Alter_Play is MM based.however am expecting a few roms like cm14.1 and RR will be released soon(?) and the kernel may work on it.ask the ROM moderator and ensure if the kernel he used is LP based or MM based.dont even try if its LP based.give a shot @ ur own risk if its MM based :highfive:

1) Please don't use thunder zap app with kernel adiutor. Conflicts occur during boot. Both apps try to apply their own changes. Use thunder zap. Recommended.

Here is a well detailed review of what I had tested.
Tried 30 minutes charging. See stopwatch and battery graph.
Tested with pre-release test builds of the kernel, so the name of the kernel is not the same.
Tested on ROM : Resurrection remix MM by @aswinp222

Is the patch working for you? Because according to the patch and the screenshot that he uploaded, it was really damn fast!
However, the patch didn't work for most of us.

I noticed considerable change after I flashed the zip.Before it was really really slow & heating too much.

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to LineageOS when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Copy ROM and Google Apps* to storage.
Reboot to TWRP.
Wipe cache, dalvik cache, data and system.

Wifi bug is known to me I am trying to solve it. But for system interface stopped msg provide a logcat and some additional information like apart from the rom which files you flashed .

I haven't tested it with magisk but it should work fine
For root I used lineage addon-armsu. So try that .

Introduction
After a year of experience I introduce to you a completely new Soda sparkling experience!
Release schedule will change: upstream version is abandoned, new official release every 2-4 weeks, nightlies every time new changes are made (see telegram channel).
Talking about this year - now my kernel is totally different. I've learned a lot, Soda is developed better than ever before. I'm also using my own toolchain.
Compatibility

Installation:
- download kernel zip and check MD5!
- boot into recovery
- (flash your ROM if you flashed any sort of custom mods before)

- reboot to the system and taste the madnesss

I don't take any responsibility for broken devices, firing from work or nuclear wars. It's a hobby project maintained in my free time. I carefully pick up changes not to mess anything up and add features that are checked and provided to work correctly. There is a small chance you could loose your phone completely, typically it will just freeze and reboot.
Where is version for MIUI/EAS?
MIUI won't be supported because Xiaomi haven't updated their repo for a long time. Building for MIUI would bring more problems than advantages.
EAS is in testing stage and will be released soon.

This kernel is not for ROMs which dont have vendor partition,
Perhaps we request to Dev to compile for us like Omni or aosip, or comming aospa

@xNombre I confirm working on pixel experience rom,
But the frequency was set back to 1.8 GHz, as compared to default darkness kernel 2.15 ghz,
One more thing, little cores min frequency not locking at 307 mhz, always going back to 1363 mhz
Any fix?

I guess it's msm touchboost. Try not to touch your screen for ~10 seconds and min freq should set to 307mhz.

I want lineage boot back

I was installed this kernel with Viper OS rom, but the wifi connection is not working then I have to switched back to the soda kernel b1.2.1

There's the Nougat version that has been around for a long time, and also a new Oreo version (from beginning of last month, so new is relative).
I think @xNombre meant that his kernel is made for Oreo ROMs only, and was referring to the Nougat ViperOS version, as this is the one everybody uses.

- there is one bug i have noticed in my J7nxt which is present in all variants in settings, the setting lineup is malformed i will try to fix it but due to lack of time, so if anyone have fixed it can PM me, i will credit him with his fix posted here.

INSTALLATION​
strongly recommended to use Orangefox recovery by @Astrako
VENDOR needs TREBLE partiton so first you need to flash Create vendor from SPAGET (only if you don't have VENDOR partition)
Download and copy the vendor and any ARM AB GSI OR A64 to your device external SDcard (preferred)
Wipe everything (SYSTEM,VENDOR,DATA,CACHE,DALVIK all together)
Flash your ( ARM AB - A64) GSI in system partition and then vendor.zip
Reboot and enjoy.

Vendor is Arm Ab but no GO, you simple can flash the Gsi which name i gave already fine that, Go gsi's need diffrent vendor so is not possible on this

Anyone tried A11 Gsi gapps or Vanilla? I tried with project treble V2, Everything work fine but can not set lock screen pin code nor pattern so it is unusable. Do you know if that vendor can help?
