[Q] Any roms that aren't CM?

I have the LGOG and I'm flashing it to Boost Mobile. I need a ROM that doesn't have CM or if it does have CM it needs to have the diag port. Also I've been informed after it's flashed I CANNOT flash a ROM to it again. So if anyone is feeling nice and could inform me of the MOST stable and feature packed ROM for this phone I would be eternally grateful.

use lifeless,venom, or imperium those are your stock based choices found in the development section...unless you go with the actual stock rom... majority of our ROMs right now are aosp/cm based.. I might have left out a stock based choice... if I did it's cause those are only ones I've flashed

Thanks so much for your quick response. I noticed that most of the ROMs are in fact CM AOSP or AOKP and my flasher said neither would work. Going through the recent posts of ROMs I noticed most didn't mention what they used as source. So I figured I'd ask.

Since it won't let me edit my post, I have a followup question. After the phone is flashed to Boost will I be able to flash another ROM? My flasher says I can't flash it after its flashed to Boost.

honestly I don't know... but do somee research on flashing to another carrier not just for this phone but others and see if they are able to do it... but all in all if they say don't do it I wouldn't do it... no telling what/how they're going to flash you to another carrier so I would take their advice unless in your research you uncover something that debunks indefinitely what they're telling you

If I remember u can flash different roms but u need a back up of ya data settings such as aakey n all them important things

U should be able to flash. But I never new that we could flash this phone to boost.

U can flash it to any CDMA provider but u will need to make sure u back up you're data nv items,data profile,aaa key,aaa password....

Can you help me flash this phone over to Boost? I'm getting all of the required progams, I was just going to do it myself but I think I'm going to need help. I have CDMA Workshop, QPST 2.7.355, QXDM 3.11.36, and WinHex. Just looking for some help. Really trying not to pay someone more than $25 to do this when I can almost do it myself.

Bump: I got it flashed over!!!! Just I have trouble with 3G I'm assuming the AAA and HA keys aren't sticking.

I've always been curious on how to do this. Can you provide some links please?

Got it working except WiFi. I am trying to figure out what file is messing it up anyone with suggestions?
BTW I already replaced the WiFi folder in etc.

As I know miui roms are based on official roms so maybe it's same problem as with miroslav unofficial 4.1 for 930?

Digging into this ROM it happens to have a cm10.0 base, I really would like to get WiFi working as this ROM seems smoother than any miui ROM I have tried.

Nope, it will have to be built from source as my normal porting methods are not working. With that being said there is a version from may that is very stable.

What did you do to get wifi working? Sorry about not getting back sooner. I will upload my port to my Google drive when I get home. Maybe we can get together to get it working, as I didn't seem to have the issues you did.

I have found previous miui 3/6/7 (port) and used boot and etc from there. That's all what i have done. Maybe rom needs some fixes but i am running it for 3 hours without any problem. So if you find something wrong, please fix it.
And please write small FAQ what should i change when porting from su 640. I think it will help many of us. I have created thread in devel section.

It's allready fixed, just install rom and gapps for android 4.1 and use it

That's what i did with this rom, took older port and use files for wifi in the new rom.

Please read carefull: i am not developer and don't know nothing about it. I just know that when you are porting rom from su640 you should replace boot.img and folder etc (system\etc where is wifi folder). I have found old miui port and took boot and etc folder to new version that's all. Maybe Swetnes will be glad to wright small instruction how to do it in normal way.

[Q] 3g disconnected during call!

Guys, I have a weird problem.. I'm connected to internet via 3g.. it does the H+ symbol and data transfer happening at high speeds. But when I get/make a call, the internet connectivity goes off..
I started getting this problem since I switched to probam rom.. I searched in many forums, but couldn't find any solutions! Do I need to get some patch that I'm not aware off? Or has the modem changed? Should I change to something and what?

Setting - about device -status - Mob nework status is HSPDA ?

Removed the screen shot as I had not removed my phone number.. But anyways, its showing up as HSDPA itself.

Then its weired, try changing modem.

changed the modem, but its not able to find any network at all now!! so trying out other region modems as well!

Flashed latest one, you may have flashed older.

aargh!!! just a little too late!! I started flashing the stock rom from odin in the hope that it will have the modem as well!!!
Its still flashing! But thanks a lot for the help! I will check on it if this doesnt work out!

hey!! thanks a lot for the modem... the odin way of going back to stock didnt work... So flashed recovery via odin and the files u sent.. But now, I am still stuck with the same problem in this modem also! HSDPA disconnects when i get/make a call!

First of all urgently remove that ROM, thats have SDS bug, your device can be bricked anytime.
Flash latest MG1 ROM.

oh.. u mean probam? even pacman rom?? I am not able to download more at office now.. and i currently have these two roms on my system..

No not PRobam but
this one N7100XXALIE_N7100ODDALI9_N7100DDALI9_HOME.tar.md5
If you have Probam then better install that.

Ok ok, I installed probam now and checked. It had the same issue of data getting disconnected during calls..
I installed carbon and cm10 and there was no such issue of data dropping during calls...
So i think there is some issue with probam! So I will shift to PACman as that offers the all-in-one functionality that i need apart from probam!

3G disconnects during call is a known issue with all aosp based 4.3 rom for note 2.

[Q] MG1/MI6..which is better?

Hello everyone ,
Is mi6 better in terms of signal reception than mg1? I am asking this because the rom i am going to flash has mi6 modem..so i wont be able to downgrade(possible but lenghty process)

Downgrade is possible. But you have to flash whole 4.1.2 mg1 rom.
I have used mi6, and not observed any modem related or signal related problem.

I know its possible and quite easy for me..
I just needed to know that mi6 is good in signal reception or not since its a LEAKED so maybe it has some outcomes..

Since I have a tmobile ROM, am I limited to only flashing the tmous ROM's in this forum or can I also install ROM's from the normal HTC One M8 forum too ( and everything will continue to work properly) ?

You can use any Rom in there
Just know WiFi calling will be gone

Gsm Roms, usually first page of rom thread will tell your if compatible with T-Mobile.
