We’re really excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Pie betas.
On first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those who are unfamiliar, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhances the overall user experience.
The beta builds include adjustments and improvements on top of the stock Android CAF base. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features.

Well, that was the situation in the past years. I remember PA on Galaxy S2, for example. But on Mi8, this ROM still hasn't any features compared to the others, and it isn't updated with the latest LOS commit.
The kernel is less smart than sphinX, too. ?
Now I'm on Xiaomi.eu (with Pie), any suggest for a good installation?

Get into TWRP, wipe /data, /system, /cache and flash last Xiaomi.eu as a base. So flash PA and go with OpenGapps (I suggest the micro one). Once you'll finish all this things, reboot. That's it!

First of all, is this ROM EAS or HMP. And also is there any clock limit to 3/32 model?

Same here, also drain battery quick
Quick review of the ROM (summary)
PROS:
incredible battery life ( 5-6 SOT)
ROM is super stable (usable as daily driver)
Performance is good (no lag in PUBG)
PUBG with GFXtool : 1444p 60fps AA : on Shadows : On
Battery Saver is good
Doze mod is super active (no battery drain isssues)
CONS:
Fingerprint returns error "Enrolment was not completed, please try again with another finger"
Vendor number issue :"There is an internal problem with your device, and it might be unstable until you factory data reset." (Maybe the reason why FP isn't working)
Very limited Google Cam compatibility (Green Front cam Pictures) no matter the version Arnova, and if you get it to work with MGC, HDR is terrible
End of report
Btw Thanks for your incredible work, i love your ROM, hope my little report will help you perfect it.
---------- Post added at 07:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:56 AM ----------
Can you please tell me what kernel was used for the build?
Thanks

THIS METHOD WORKS WITH EVERY ROM
How's ROM? Can be used as daily driver with no major bugs?
So been running this rom since 2 days now and I'm here to report. Absolutely amazing, this is a really well made Rom and my compliments to the chef. I read that the Paranoid team took a long time to release their Rom on purpose to work on it and it shows. At this current moment this is Rom is the only issue free(without issues that make unable to daily drive) and well optimized 12L custom there is for Oneplus 5/5T. I was actually worried I might have to run a custom kernel as the performance for all in one packaged Roms tends to be rough but the battery life and performance shows how much care was put into it.
But alas I also have to air my gripes with it as well.
-Lacks customization features (lack of pure black mode, pure controllable custom colors, status bar and QS tweaking and etc ( for more on this, Derpfest is a good example))
-Issue with adding contacts to emergency contacts( this exists in other 12L Roms so i'll let it slide but I would like my loved to be contacted in case of emergencies God Forbid)
But other than 8/10 solid Rom. Perfect for daily driving.
