Versioning:
As of BETA2, two versions are distributed, the 'CAF' version and the 'Makozomi' version.
CAF (Code Aurora Forum):
This version uses the CAF display driver, which in general has more fixes and the newest qcom stuff over the AOSP one.
+ MPD composition and overlay drawing should be improved using this display driver
+ Code widely used on non-nexus devices
- HDMI is broken
Makozomi (Mako+Nozomi):
This version uses the AOSP (Mako/Nexus4) display driver, which in general is not up-to-date with the newest qcom code, but proven to be stable over time.
+ HDMI works flawlessly
+ Pure Mako/Nexus4 drivers
- MDP composition and overall drawing performance could be a tad worse compared to CAF
The choice is yours.
If you rely on HDMI, Makozomi will serve you well.

In fact, not everyone should see this. I created the group, and it is meant only for a few testers and the devs working on it.

Does not record videos with the default camera app, the next updates will be solved. Preferable to keep the Panorama.

If it can't be replicated by you or others, then it isn't a bug.
We do not give any support if you:
Not using the stock kernel CyanogenMod
Do not use the default applications system (launcher etc.)
Have installed other mods / Tweaks
Have file system modified

I think he means the "swipe" feature of the keyboard which makes it FCing. It will never work on ARMv6 devices.

I noticed that in few ROMs if user installed wrong, non-recommended Google apps, keyboard doesn't working

Not yet, but it's probably in the works
We just got this booting on Saturday or Sunday after a lot of code reviewing and hacking. You guys are pretty lucky to get this, Oliver and the team have worked tirelessly on this and it is a huge step towards KitKat. All I did towards this was clean up the device tree (tidy up stuff) and threw out suggestions while these guys endlessly diagnosed why the phone kept rebooting to recovery.
Remember, we do this as a hobby not a job. Your gratitude goes a long way

Hello everyone, today I present my UNOFFICIAL SlimLP compiled by me straight from the sources for now. I don't have much to say, just need to state this ROM is work of all SlimRom developers, and this rom was created because our devic have small system partition so slim is best way to walkaround it.

Not stable version, it is initial build and it has the same bugs of cm12 alpha1.1

Yes but slim was created because I use it on my g2 and like it so I made one for l5 but basically you got point

I can also be a tester if I have time. This is the only phone I had, so need it for work. But if time permits, I'll test.

Same issues with Cm12 alpha1.1. Not with alpha2. Wifi does not work yet on this build.
