in any rom Pie the downloads in the background are stopped. They only download to conclude if they are being downloaded with the screen in use and the download page open

Hi!
up to date Whatsapp has a bug, so I install Whatsapp version 2.11.50 as specified in the forum...but when I launch this app, it shows a page download that this app has to be update and require to download the new apps from Google play.
I have desactivate Auto-update apps from Google Play.
==> So what to desactivate download page from Whatsapp version 2.11.50???

its likely not going to work the older version
as whatsapp is updating all the time and they are not supporting older versions
but I could be wrong
Here is quick guide for how to install android L apps on your device
Instructions:
1.Download zip from -goo.gl/4o4ZKG
2.flash through cwm/twrp.
3.wipe cache.
4.Done.

You don't need to flash and you don't need to root. You can install these easily if you get a APK.
Play Store: You can download the newest version of Google Play Store from AndroidPolice (APK Provided)
Google Now: Download from Play Store.
Google Search: I don't know if this is the Google search bar or Ok Google. (Can't say as I have not seen a APK for this).

Do need root
you do need root as for it to work correctly you need to put the lib files in lib folder
You need rooted device because if use install only apk file then it force close due to lib incapability.
so please use rooted mobile and flash through recovery .

As you have posted this in Mot G section; I will say why so hurry, L is coming to Moto G. Moto G will have all those apps officialy. Why mess with the phone for a few unreliable apps.
I installed the latest play store and google play services (soon as it got released) without using custom recovery. all working without any issues so far. all you need is the right apk

Guys I am on latest havoc os Android 10 in my phone while downloading apps from play store any apps is showing waiting for download but it's getting downloaded in the background do any body know fix for this , in download manager I can see the apps getting downloaded but In play store it's showing as waiting for download.

Same problem for me on msm xtended 7 .
you must be rooted with magisk
I was looking for a way to get gestures without those 3 button navigation bar being forced always when using 3rd party launcher like nova launcher
to remove navigation bar that is always being forced no matter what download this zip from https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/icon-miui-11-12-global-icon-pack-flasher.55423/page-5 named hide_navigation_bar_v1.0-magisk.zip and flash with magisk
for the gestures I just use fng. you can use whatever third party gesture app you like
to get unlimited google photos just download pix3lify and press volume down for everything except pixel framework should be volume up, it will fail to install but just reboot the phone and check google photos and you get unlimited google photos
