Hi all,
I noticed that when under sun a big stain appear on the screen.
Is anybody face the same issue? Under non sun light no issue at all, no stain.

This should not affect your use as long as you are not in the sun.

Agree but it is strange. And I am often under the sun...
Is anybody else face the same issue?
Is it a design issue and because of the cooler?

Really annoying, is anybody else face this issue?

Hey guys I'm having a weird issue right now. I don't think it's normal (it might be), but what happens is, when there is movement on the screen, It looks like previous frames of the screen are still on. It is a very minor issue right now, (is only noticable in the app drawer with black apps), but I got the phone a week ago, and it is still under warranty, so I might as well get it fixed. (if it really is an issue).
All I did to the phone was install a custom firmware and NXT 2r1, and I think the issue might have been there before, but I'm not sure. I only really noticed it after I installed mxplayer, (because the app is like pure black).
I took a video of how it looked here (focus on the mxplayer app)-
http://youtu.be/zDPQsGG-XKg
I'm not sure if it is a problem or not, so if it is, I might as well get it fixed.
Thanks in advance.
Noticed that ages ago, it happens with the colour red too. I think it's just the display's ageing design.

Alright, so it's nothing to be worried about?
That's good to hear.
All of you are wrong (sorry if im mean here,)
Its because the Xperia play comes default with a screen protector and after a while it like Smudges with the screen and etc.. so it causes this
Nothing to worry about,

Wait, so did I just screw it up permanently buy keeping on the normal screen protector? Cause now I replaced the protector and the effect still remains.

Yes it will stay their for ever, , Because the default screen protector from Sony was actually pretty good and had some sort of oil i think underneeth... But if u leave it its fine, and if u take it off its fine,

I have difficulties believing that: Somehow, a relatively outdated LED screen that has a noticeable delay when cycling between certain colours seems more believable than a vinyl screen protector and its mystery oil that selectively disperses a screen's light even when they're no longer in contact with said screen. What makes you think it's this "oil"?

Hi,
When I had my Note 2 on a table, I happened to glance at it from an angle and could see from a reflection on the screen that the screen wasn't completely flat. The reflection 'bent' as I changed my angle of vision.
I hadn't noticed this before. Has anyone else seen this?
Why post this here?
Questions go in Q&A.
Because I had a question and a search didn't reveal an answer - the normal reason!
coz of speaker grill at the back ...

will need to study physics law and angle of reflection to get an answer to this.

I can think of a couple of reasons...
1. Has your battery gotten swollen or do you use a non-Samsung battery that's slightly thicker?
2. Have you attached a wireless charging pad to the battery or back cover?
This will cause pressure on the screen from behind resulting in a non-flat display.

It is common, that there are variations in glass thickness and they cause image distortion for reflected light. You won't be able to notice it for light coming from the screen.
The earth is not flat

I'm still using the standard battery that came in the box. I am using a wireless charging receiver but there's no evidence of swelling on the receiver or the battery and the back of the phone (under the cover is fine).
I did have a look at a friends HTC One and noticed exactly the same, so I assume it's normal

I'm convinced now it's just normal, I just hadn't seen it before so I got a bit concerned for a minute
Thanks for your explanation.
Try turning off your phone and compare the flatness with and without the battery inserted. Chances are that the charging receiver adds bulk, causing the screen to flex a little.

if you lay the phone on the ground and jump stomp on it really hard, it will become flat.

Hi!
Just got my Moto 360 today, and overall I am very happy. However, I got this weird pixel "thing" as you get when the screen is wet in sunshine. It's really hard to explain but I took a photograph of it and circled it with a red brush. This is around the whole screen where the bezel meets the display and not just on the sides as the photo is showing. This is only noticeable while having a white or brighter background. Is this normal?
Regards,

Nothing to be concerned about, I have that also and it's the glass cut around the bezel that's causing it

Actually never noticed it until I read your thread, the most annoying thing is after you flash a Rom you have to hard reset your watch.

Well, that sucks... What is the main benefit of rooting Moto 360 right now? I usually root to install mods and ROMs, but there is just one ROM available at this time.

I haven't rooted my 360 and never will, my phone however is rooted and that's where the problem lies, after flashing any Rom on my phone you must do a hard reset on the 360 I order to pair it. Pain in the arse
I like the effect of the edge of the glass ...works nice for some faces

Can someone please tell me what's going on here? I've owned a number of HTC devices (TyTNII, HD2, Inspire, M7...) and I've never seen anything like this happen with any of them. I don't even know how to describe it, or what department at HTC to ask. Can it even be fixed? Your help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
It might be something to do with insane heating, I once had a problem in Spain where my phone got really hot beacuse of the sun and started developing vertical lines going up and down, the screen, when I got into shade and let it cool for a while, it disappeared on its own

Are you saying it's the glue that holds the glass to the screen? How the heck did it happen, and more specifically, what can be done to fix it?

you can try heating the screen and pushing/keep pushed....and wait to cool
it could have been exposed to high heat and...like....detached

High heat in the month and for October? Not likely, but I'll give it a go.

Hi All,
This spot appeared out of nowhere the other day.
Is it water? Is the glue under the screen coming off?
There is no crack or anything.
What do you guys think it is?

Same happened to me on my OnePlus One, I figured it was from a really tight case that I had on it, taking it on and off, starting from the same corner. Mine was glass separating from digitizer..... It never effected the touch/screen function, but was terribly annoying.
I eventually replaced the screen and digitizer all in one piece. ( After a drop and screen smash)
Wonder if the 5t is built on same "layers" as the one.
Bummer.

I put the phone on ebay and the bidding will end today.
IT's around 180$ for a screen replacement.
Not worth it.
