Dear All,
I have noticed that Redmi Note 5 Pro has inbuilt equalizer which works with most of the music player. But it goes off as soon as you leave the equalizer screen of music app (Wynk Music etc.), in order to have the sound effect, you need to remain on equalizer screen.
Has anybody noticed this ? and if this the case, how to keep equalizer on all the time while playing music? I have already installed magisk module of Audio Compatibility Patch-v1.5.4.zip.
Kindly suggest the solution.
Regards

Hi, i have updated my Honor 8 Pro to Oreo afterwards i am facing some issue with my Equalizer FX. Pro app, which i have purchased from google playstore.
It was good while on Nougat 7. After update to Oreo only i am having following problem,
- Bass boost
- Virtualization
Both are not working, if i enable this i can hear some abnormal sound.
Please some one try the free version of Equalizer FX. Pro (playstore App) and tell whether you are facing the same issue or not?
And if not please tell me how to fix this issue.
Note: i tried other Equalizer apps also same problem, if i enable the Bass booster on every equalizer app. Dont know what could be reason for this problem.
The same problem is reported here also Huawei P10 on EMUI 8.0. https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10-plus/help/equalizer-broken-oreo-update-t3749336
here no one is using equalizer app?
Yea...i just tested...it distorts the sound to the point of making it useless...i guess it has to do with some compatibility/driver issues!! Well this seems to be a problem with emui 8.0 in general and not the device in particular..
To be honest i don't even use the dts... I like that histen enhancement more than dts...dts muffles the sound very much... The lows become very blunt...

When will I record the screen
and the internal audio of my Redmi 7 with the stock app V4A as well as Dolby stop working and only the original sound is recorded, the music player equalizer works when recording starts but they don't, does anyone know why? Sorry if it's hard to understand, I'm using Google translator.
Hi guys! Can anyone please confirm the following? Play some music and go to music settings -> dolby atmos -> change modes (music -> dynamic -> none) all those 3 sounds the same only movie setting makes a difference! I have used dolby atmos before in a rooted phone and it was amazing, but this is ****! Just check and if what i claimed above is true can you guys please raise a bug report in oneplus forum? it seems new members cant start a thread!
It's dynamic/movie/music
Dynamic is either music or movie from my experience, and it chooses the setting depending on what you are listening to, music or a movie. Dolby atmos is always on, as an optimisation for the speaker. Sounds good for me
if you want to hear the difference plugin some good quality earphones and play some good song.. you might hear the difference..

I have heard the difference, I use Bose soundsport. Checked the difference in quality on my Pixel 3 and OP 7T.
I dunno about Atmos etc, but the speakers do sound good nevertheless.
Ok, audio via phone Bluetooth connection question.
I recently exchanged my Samsung Galaxy S9 for a OnePlus 7T, and I notice that with the new phone, I have to play music on my car radio (Kia Forte) at a higher level of sound. Sound quality is good though. Has anyone had a similar experience, be it an Android or an iOS phone? Thanks!
I've been trying to work this out myself.
I moved from a Galaxy S8 to a OnePlus 7t and I stream my music via Bluetooth to my JBL Charge 4; I have been feeling like volume has been a lot lower and bass is just not there like it was on the S8. But then I had been flicking between Spotify and Deezer on my S8 so that could have contributed to the confusion as the volumes levels differ a bit on there too.
I'm on 10.0.9 (Stable - EU) and believe it to be quieter and lacking in comparison to Samsung :/
Try dolby atmos equalizer and you can feel the difference of volume boost and audio quality had same problem on my car with sony BT stereo but with that app it's a lot better, give it a try.. You can find it under "oneplus 7t themes apps and mods"

Are you referring to the APK? I did see this the other day but wasn't sure if it persisted after reboot

My T-Mobile 7T has the Dolby Atmos equalizer option, and it does help with sound quality, but not overall loudness.
Also, I tried this on my OP, and it more or less helps with a bit louder sound, but not as loud as the Samsung.

Yes the apk.. to get it working properly you need to disable the in-built one, either via adb or disable application app (root)
Hi community.
My wife has a ear disease and she is deaf on the left ear.
I can't find default android system audio balance settings for set audio on the right ear when she uses her BT headphones (because the sound vibrations hurts her left ear).
I searched in Play Store an app that can help me to do this without success.
Thank you

Thank you barttheman for reply.
I attached screenshots about redmi note 8 pro's (android pie) accessibility settings menù where there isn't audio balance option.
I also tried equalizer pie (free and pro) but It doesn't make any audio changes (audio balance, equalizer presets, etc with or without wired headphones, BT headphones, nothing), even in my LG G7 Thinq too.
this is screenshot from my access. settings, turn on mono audio and balance will show.

Does your 4th photo not show the Ballance.
If you cannot find an software fix, you could always buy an audio balance adaptor like the one i have linked below.

Thank you, I will considerer it
You can download the "sound amplifier" by Google which is an accessibility app and according to my experience with it I think it will solve your issue.....the app was announced as a feature of Android 10 but was posted to play store for anyone to download if their version of Android is supported.
I have not tested the app as an accessibility app I only checked it out of curiosity

Hi,
thank you for suggestion.
Sound amplifier works like an ambience sound amplificator using the phone's microphone but ot doesn't work with media played by the phone.
