It would be great help to the community if someone could share factory images for this device of android 8 and 9. It can be use to reflash from scratch, or downgrade the device to android8 like me..
In most cases, what you need is boot, system or vendor images.

I need thos images which i could use to flash my device. Actually i want to downgrade to orio, as i am not happy with pie. Can u help?
still waiting for response
I am in the same boat, I want to downgrade to Oreo 8.0 so I can unlock the bootloader. I found this website where the firmwares are available, thanks to the owners but I am not able to downgrade because it either gets stuck on 'abl_b' partition or fails. I have tried to use OST tool 6.0.4 with slightly edited firmware as I found on internet.
https://fih-firmware.hikaricalyx.com/index_en.html
You need Ntool for downgrade ur phone.
Also here are stock images: https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...de-how-to-make-backups-restore-stock-t3889815
Same here. I updated to pie but unhappy with it due to poor battery life and stability. I want to downgrade too.

I came across a downgrade method for 7 plus where you just need to change slot from a to b. Then you flash downgrade package in stock recovery by applying update (in reality downgrade) from sdcard. Ii doesnt need bootloader unlocked. search google "How to downgrade Nokia 7 Plus from stable Pie to stable Oreo" (not allowed to post link because the site sells bootloader unlock).
if we had an oreo downgrade package for 6.1 we could try this method.

If you are critical unlocked, you can downgrade via OST LA. If not, you need NTool for downgrade.
I also tried to adb sideload through recovery the Oreo update but it also didnt work because it said the timestamp is older than current one. May be if we can change the time stamp it would just flash the update.

I am not sure if it's actually from Oreo because could be Pie, but the file name is "PL2-3260-0-00WW-B01-update" and it's size is 1.42Gb. I found it while I was looking for stock firmware for my Nokia 6.1. I dont remember from where though.

Rollback Package from Android 7.0 to 6.0: MEGA-ROLLBACK
You can also download both from Huawei at hihonor.com in their support area.
Thanks @adomol, repository updated with appropriate credit.
Is this the Android 7 update from the 6.0.1 ????
No, this is the stock Marshmallow firmware that shipped with the 6X.
Can this be used to downgrade from Nougat to Marshmallow? Or will it brick? Just figured I'd ask before I try, I'm stuck in a bit of a jam right now, and no firmware I've tried will apply successfully (fails at 5%). So I figure that I might have better luck going back to the stock MM that the device came with.
Edit: It looks like the download link is invalid. Any mirrors?

@AnonVendetta
Thanks guys, but I was able to go back to MM yesterday, with the help of private messages from @adomol. It involved using a small rollback package and a large full package. The rollback went fine. I may or may not upgrade back up to Nougat, got some prep work to do and things to test. I've only had this device for a few days so I don't know the ins and outs of upgrading/downgrading firmware on Huawei. I'm more familiar with Samsung and Odin.

It is good that you downgraded to MM.
You'll get used to honor devices pretty quickly.

Does anyone have the OTA firmware for the Honor 6x LN-24? All the links I'm finding online are broken.
So if I want to flash an older ROM (I am familiar with all the guides and how-tos's), how exactly do I know which older ROM fits my phone? There are tons of 6.0.1 version but I don't know which one I had before upgrading to Nougat. Is there a way to know which one to use?
Thanks.

Go by the upload date. Download the version of the rom that was released in the same month or even two to three weeks into the month as the Marshmallow security update you are using. If the rom was released in August 2016, then it would use the vendor image from the August 2016 Marshmallow factory image. You must make sure the vendor image you flash matches the rom security patch, even when downgrading.

Not at all. Let me explain this again. You can either search within that custom rom's thread or follow my post. The last version of Marshmallow on this device was released in August 2016. You can read the version build on the Google factory image page:
https://developers.google.com/android/images?hl=en
That's why I wrote you should look at the upload date of the Marshmallow custom rom as you are downloading it. Match that 2016 upload date with your device's Marshmallow factory image from the link above. Download the respective factory image and flash the vendor image it contains. You need to wipe then flash Marshmallow vendor image, Marshmallow custom rom, and gapps to properly downgrade. Make sense?

if you want tou use stock, use the latest 6.0.1. Download the factory image and flash it.
6.0.1 (MTC20K) is the latest marshmallow for Nexus 5x.

hi everybody i recently purchased this g710em and out of the box i found the pie update so i did install it right away but i am very disappointed coming from an xz2 which was very snappy like realy snappy compared to the g7 and i didn't try oreo yet my request for you guys eas if u any one can hzlo or share his experience:
_can i downgrade to oreo.
-(if yes) is oreo better than pie.
-what is the latest oreo firmware or the most accomplished one.
i really like the audio capabilities and the build quality of the g7 but i cant keep it withe this kind major problem wich lag in the very basic ui. thank you. very much in advance.
If it is rootable then proceed to root and use a non stock rom that is oreo based.
Unless someone has made a stock backup you can restore via twrp.

Can you provide some more details about the procedure. I am complete newbie and couldnt figure out.
Not running pie makes u exposed to som nasty explots.

You can find the firmware AND the tool here, justo look for tour model and variant.
If you are stuck ok 7.1.1 you have the chinese variant (00CN) same as i do (i've tried the same)

This page Is from a senior member here on xda, however search your model and variant firmware, if you flash a firmware for other variant YOU WILL KILL YOUR DEVICE

Sorry for this noob question
But there any way to Rollback to C.09 Update or Rollback to Android 10
There's a link to an Android 10 rollback package in the Android 11 announcement in the Indian community forums. That seems the easiest approach and according to smiley.raver in another thread you don't need to match Android 10 firmware with your region.
Alternatively you could flash some Android 10 firmware directly. You can find some links to downloads from realme on various sites such as realmefirmware that could you could flash with your favourite MTK flash tool. My choice would be mtkclient because I prefer to use Linux where possible but quite likely the choices for Windoze would be more user friendly.
Good luck! (I am a Noob too.)

Hi, I'm trying to download back to Android 10 to perform the region hack to enable the Dual Sim functionality from Australian Optus prepaid Realme C21.
But I'm stuck. I downloaded this file from the realme forums, talking about a rollback package.
RMX3061PU_11_OTA_0370_all_kpNiOQ0SFsQk.ozip
But as i follow the instructions it tells me, the install version is older hence wont continue. This is with the built in recovery method.
Mainly posts mention that the special rollback ozip can be used to downgrade but for some reason the recovery wont allow me.
I'm not clear as to how I can downgrade back to Android 10.
I know there are roms (how do I flash these??? do I need to unlock bootloader), then were are ozips which are realme stock roms.
So what is the best way to downgrade back to 10??
Just want to get back to 10 so I can change the region to the 'optus prepaid xxxx', to get dual sim.

yes please.
Could you share how you downgraded?
I've been looking at flashing it directly with the zip firmwares you can download. But the process seems complex and I haven't found a clear way to do it.
Just want to downgrade to android 10, change region then enable dual sim and then allow it to upgrade back to 11 and 12 I guess.
If you use telegram

I cna explain there and can send You necessary files ..
I have a theory.
Use mtk-client to unlock bootloader.
Install twrp with all in one tool. (not sure if need to use auth bypass hacks).
use twrp to flash android 10 ozip.
then try to boot into android 10.
use region change codes to perform change.
possibly restore recovery to stock, then lock bootloader and use OTA or ozip upgrades to upgrade to latest.
