I will try it when I get back from vacation.
Have you included any overclocking profiles in the kernel?
Just a mild OC of 1566, I will look into boosting it more at some point, but it is pretty smooth now...

Everything is perfect , except for the battery, i slept for about 9 hours and my phone lost 52% of battery. On battery history details , the 'awake' bar is completely full.
If you fix this, it's just perfect ! Cheers

Try installing this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector and see what is causing the wake locks. For me I found that setting the volume rocker to switch songs was draining the battery (Validus settings, Buttons->Playback control). After that was unchecked all was good again..
Have a look at the community for screens

ROM was stable until I fiddled with xblast tools xlocky settings. I had no issues with wake lock...very disturbing boot animation [emoji50] .luckily, no random reboots.
Sent from my LG P936
Here's what im looking at . i also disabled the button playback.
Edit: installed DeepSleep Battery Saver and set the profile to agressive , however during the night it didn't chabge a thing. But now i opened wld and the awake bar changed from 95% to 1% . sounds good now

It appears that you must reboot in order for the playback button wakelock to stop being triggered. Glad it is working for you now.

13:15 hours running and i have 60% of battery
Btw , there are a lot of kit kat ROMs now , mokee , oficial cm , Miroslav , pacrom , validus... I was wondering , is it possible to port sphinx too ? Cause sphinx 4.1 is the most stable rom we have in terms of speed and battery...

That's a shame
Lost 8% over the night , about 9 hours , using deepsleep battery saver on slumberer profile. Still a bit higher than average. However , way better than 54%

Sent from my LG-P930 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
got two random reboots after restarting device if i turn off the screen by pressing power button it crashes and restarts again!
As shown on attached image, my T705 can go standby for 3 days without screen on.
The moment I use for gaming aka Clash of Clans, it drop fast 3hrs 45min.
Any solution to reduce this drain?
My device info:
Screen set to 35% brightness
Rom: SelambA ROM v1.2.1
Kernel: SkyHigh TW Kernel R3_v1.9.1. Set to BETTER Battery Life
Try greenify. It will hibernate apps when you close it and will not open until you open it. Or it might be that when you play the game it runs at max performance maybe which caused the battery drain
Seems like since it lasts so long on stand by it is not just a matter of background processes.
People always say greenify like it's a magic word. I'm sure it helps some but I don't think that much, or Google would have built something like that into their kernel already right?

Idk. Greenify works for me while no other battery saver doesnt. Standby lasts longer because it deep sleeps/kills some processes to save the battery while screen is off. He might have to many apps open or some sort. Andriod L may fix problems but samsung may mess it up because of touchwiz.
the stock rom everything was nice :camera, deep sleep, network and battery life was decent. the only issue was heating. Has anyone tried underclocking stock rom to soothen the heating.
Bhai, are u on marshmallow or nougat? Both Indian version are heating alot. There is a Chinese deodexed version of ZUI 2.5.412. Its great. It will reduce heating to normal level. But there is a problem in this rom i.e notification bug. You will not get whatsapp or Facebook notifications regularly especially when you clear recent apps. You will receive all whatsapp messages when you open it manually, to receive notifications properly you need to lock whatsapp from clearing apps.
And safe center keep killing those apps from running in background which is also good for battery backup.
Another good rom is AICP, there is no heating issue. And you will receive notifications too. ?

I use kernal auditor.
Go to thermal and activate vdd restriction and core control
Also activate apply on reboot and reboot your phone
The antutu score dropped to 100000 for me from 135000 but every thing is still smooth
Btw i play a lot of high end games like injustice 2 & gta sa and the heating has gotten a lot better
Previously it used to get so hot that i could feel it through the applied provided case
has anyone tried it yet ? its already out for china rom 12.5.5
how's the battery life? any noticeable change in performance/ overall smoothness?
waiting for mmx personally
its smoother than the previous versions of miui, if someone like miui i can highly recommend it, battery like before

Check Xiaomi updater website if there is a newer version to be installed...
Idk , for me personally I'm only in for the performance mode toggle - if you can see it inside battery settings of security center just enable it and you should be good.

Is performance mode locking screen to 120hz like that battery clear data trick?

Nope , miui is still trash because of that ...
There's literally no fix for that , I'm thinking of modifying the app that's in charge of handling that to remove all the locks on certain apps but I've still no idea how to remove drop to 60hz after not touching screen... If you remove the app you lose fast charging and usability of basically everything on the phone

yeah . that sucks. drops really kill smoothness of the phone. Im using it in 120hz all the time but dont know how long will that clear data thing work. i got used to 120hz+ displays over the years so i can really feel that stutter .
if i loose 1hr sot over it i dont realy care
How to force this update? Change region?
This "enhanced edition" is just a bunch of lies, there's nothing new, the performance is exactly the same, no new features are added, this just generates a "placebo effect" in those who really believes that this really changes anything.
There are plenty of videos on youtube that demostrates this, and I also experienced this by myself.
In 12.5.4/12.5.5, if you had green tint, go to brightness settings and disable the smoothen transitions option. It's enabled by default and fixes the tint issue (for me).
Make sure you change the brightness once.
It's hard to see when u don't wanna see

Not sure if you're open to flashing a custom ROM, but I had this same issue and switched to HavocOS. My phone has an uptime of 450+ hours at this moment and performance is quite good. Battery life is comparable to stock.
More info on HavocOS

Could be also affect by corresponding "Developer options ON">APPS>Background process limit>choose. Check it.
I had never this problem with stock android 10/One/Q.
