I do sometimes when using YouTube, there will be stutter going to the home screen . No such issue in other apps. Sometimes the app switcher has some stutter but not too noticeable.
I have no lag and I am underclocked.
No lag here, don't think I've noticed even a stutter yet
Did u install any sketchy apps?
No lag for me either. I am using Kirisakura kernel with its default settings, which is great.

Negative. It seems to be tied to the camera for whatever reason. I use Facebook messenger a lot with a bunch of my racing buddies and snapchat and the lag happens a ton there
Facebook and Snapchat ate very resource intensive apps. You should uninstalling one or both and just see if lags remains. Im willing to bet lag-b-gone! My 3xl is snappy, no issues

There has been some very weird stuff going on with those running Nova. It's not been proven that it's the cause but there is a pattern showing up. I know you've been running it like forever, I get that. But perhaps Google is inadvertently breaking some things with their monthly updates. Why not try uninstalling Nova after backing up the settings and run stock launcher for a few days. Just to see if it makes a difference or not.

I tried that a while back on my Nexus 5X and didn't see a way. But I'm sure things have changed so there might be now. If not then you'll only be stuck for a couple of days before you go back. Curious for your results on the lag and camera issue.

I'm not talking major lag, just a tiny bit when browsing the apps deck or widgets.
Yes, especially when scrolling through the Widget screens. Also had 2 Launcher force closes since flashing 4.0.2 Yesterday. Hope 4.0.3 will take care of that..
Yeah I noticed that as well... it's very slight, but it was noticeable for me right away.
Did you guys have yakju from the start? or switched over from another build?
I immediately noticed it with the keyboard. Slightly annoying .
Same here. GO Launcher is really bad. Stock is a bit "sticky" too.

Maybe one of the reasons for crashing was the acceleration and they disabled something to cure it but made worse. Sigh.

Switched to the latest version of the 4.0.1 stock build, and things are back to normal again. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't in my head lol
I think I'm gonna wait it out with this image till google releases 4.0.3. Because they obviously broke something in 4.0.2 :S
the only lag Ive really experienced is with google voice commands. After hitting thehome screen button you have to wait a second before hitting the microphone- if you hit it right away nothing happens. Maybe a little lag with the keyboard in the firt 30-45 seconds the phones on but thats it for me. Now signal thats another issue and that ones annoying.

It has to do with the CPU governors, not everyone seems to be experiencing the lag issue which is weird. Got 15min left on mikes 2.1.1 will see if his release runs better, if not restoring to 4.0.1 until 4.0.3
Just rooted mine and my speed issues seem to be gone on 4.0.2. No idea as to why that is.
I too noticed this on the homescreen, browsing apps/widgets, web browsing... I use a live wallpaper and when I scroll to the left or right the live wallpaper stutters and just pressing the home button repeatedly while on home screen... the live wallpaper stutters...
like someone else said... I think it's something to do with the adjustments they made to the CPU governor
Just upgraded to it 10 minutes ago
Android nub question alert: lots of people here flash in a moments notice, so are you backing up your settings/apps/data etc using some app to restore after flashing? If so, what r u using?

I personally use MyBackupPro, works great for me. Titanium Backup is a very good app as well. Also suggest to always do/have a Nandroid Backup to go back to just in case.
UPDATE: Anybody that's interested, 2.1.1 eliminated most of the lag I was experiencing on Stock 4.0.2.
thank you sir!
Love TSTO and played it often on my OG N7 but now that I have it on the N7 2013, it seems to be zoomed in rather close on the town and it's rather annoying.
Has anyone else noticed this with TSTO?
I guess I can't comment, but it seemed okay to me. Seemed too much like farmville; I couldn't get into it, though it did visually look nice.
Yes! Finally some one else seeing this issue. My guess is that the game is defaulting to the lowest resolution because it doesn't recognize our amazing n7 2 yet. Hopefully it will be optimized soon. It is also laggy at times. My original nexus 7 is much smoother and is more zoomed out. Kind of disappointing to have a better experience on older hardware but what can you do.

Well if you are still wanting per app dpi, some of the current roms look to be offering it. May help with the games that can't figure out the N7's awesome new screen.
Ive got paranoid android, and it seems to be stuck showing a larger ui no matter what the dpi is.
Anyone having any issues with this?
Im on 4.4 and the sound seems distorted, and fuzzy. Almost like static.
4.4 issue? or just a general crappy app?
I've just purchased this phone and overall I like it. One thing I think is holding this beast back is the resolution. The GPU seems to seriously struggle - it's even noticeable when switching apps, navigating the settings, etc. It just seems like it doesn't have quite enough grunt.
Is anyone else experiencing a similar thing?
I was using an Xperia Z2 earlier today and everything seemed far more fluid and smooth. I'm honestly considering selling my 2 day old G3 and switching to a Z2.

I agree, and never freeze anything that you don't know the function of. It can happen accidentally, but I've learned from my mistakes.
Okay, call me crazy, but I am positive that that shortcut was not present before. I have the latest security patch, no root, no bootloader unlocked, no custom rom. I double pressed it and the camera launched. I don't know if it has to do with hiding the stock Sense Home screen via adb. I don't know what I did. I don't find a setting or anything in the entire system.

I have only tried some apps but don't work
Yeah, I read it somewhere, it's one of the effects of disabling the HTC Lockscreen. Having the stock Android Lockscreen enables that double press shortcut.
I have a question too though, does the fingerprint scanner work on the Stock Android Lockscreen?
Question: how do I disable this feature?

Thanks for that. Figured since it was released through the beta program as an OTA there still might be early issues... "Slow and janky" clarified that. Doesn't seem there is anything too horrible that doesn't work.
In your opinion could this still be a daily driver? Of course that always depends on what your doing with your phone.

so far the MyATT app crashes every open.
FiSwitch app, widget doesnt seem to work at all.
CustomNavigation bar app opens, but cannot be enabled due to Android version issue (also possible because Google seems to have gotten rid of system ui tuner altogether, or there is a new way you have to enable it that I havent found).
SolidExplorer gives a toast about API compatibility issue, but so far seems to work fine. I did have to delete and re-add cloud storage providers.
Off-hand, those are all I can think of, still have more to go through.
I installed factory images, did full wipe. In the past, when I have installed new OS with images, and deleted the -w (wipe user data flag) there were always issues, so I did clean install.
So far apps such as LightFlow, KWGT, CallFlash, things of that nature seem to be fine.
