Flashing and updating
Resurrection Remix clean install:
Download the latest build of Resurrection Remix ROM
Full wipe and factory reset (recommended / backup to make sure not to loose data)
Flash the Resurrection Remix ROM zip from the Recovery
Flash the GApps to have the Google Applications (optional)
Every additional zip you want to flash (optional)
Reboot
Resurrection Remix update/upgrade:
Download the latest build of Resurrection Remix ROM
Wipe cache and dalvik cache
Flash the latest Resurrection Remix ROM zip from the Recovery

Anyone got benchmarks for comparison? Because previously f2fs didn't seems to improve anything aside from the rate of instability

f2fs is working stable on data and cache.

You've produced only one screenshot of the ROM, how about you post an antutu bm screenshot(with f2fs)? Would be nice because a lot of users do care bm results.

Dev said that it is treble. So, use the guide and flash the supported twrp.

The ROM is fast and fluid . No bugs experienced.
It would be great if you could customise the button (hardware) just like all other roms.
For curious guys there i can confirm that it can be used as daily driver. Its dam stable.
And yes VOLTE WORKS.

First boot may take up to 10 minutes.
Update OTA via Pbrp Step
1. Flash Rom
2. ignore if you found eror system_root
3. Reboot recovery dont flash anything just reboot recovery after flash rom
4. flash gapps again , Flash Magisk again if u need
5. reboot system , done !

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

I used the TWRP recovery from the Evolution X thread https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=8889791610682890288
Then I installed PBRP. I also had to download and install the Global Firmware even though I was on the most recent MIUI. https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/joyeuse/#

It can but u need to format data after install to avoid internal storage being encrypted

Does NFC, fast charging and 64mp work with this ROM? Seems to be the main caviets for ROMs on this device.

With the download link, I'm seeing 8.5.8 from 8/14. Is anyone using that version successfully? Does face unlock work with this ROM?
PBRP for Joyeuse 3.0.0 seems to be very glitchy for me. Is anyone just using the TWRP from Dungphp to use this ROM or if using PBRP, which do I need ot use 2.9.1 or 3.0.0?

Also you can use custom launcher if you dont like the default one

When recording using front cam it shows, video recording failed

Wifi calling features
I want to know wheather this rom supports wifi calling. I fed of using stock ROM ASUS didn't pushing OTA update for wifi calling.

Gapps doesnt work
Gapps can flash but Does not appear in the system(Twrp Ok)

Hi, I have succefully flashed the Rom for Asus Zenfone 5Z, but I have 2 problema: 1) when I connect a bluetooth earphone I can see the icon in the status bar, but when I play music or video, the audio don't switch t the earphone; 2) I have tried several times to flash a Gapps, a version Mini or Mirco or Nano o Micro, but when the flash ends succefully and I reboot the system, I don't see Gapps, how can I do?

INSTRUCTIONS​
Follow all the next instructions carefully​
Code:
*Make sure you have the latest custom recovery installed(TWRP is the preferred recovery).
*Download the latest Resurrection Remix Rom & the latest GApps package.
*Boot into recovery.
*Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution.
*If you are coming from stock OS you may need to format internal storage
*Flash ResurrectionRemix Rom.
*Flash Google Apps package(Optional).
*Flash Magisk Root(Optional).
*First boot may take up to 5 minutes.
-UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS-​Now there are two ways to do this, Use the Updater app(recommended) or use TWRP to manually flash it
For OTA​

*Simply open the updates app through RR tools> updates
*Check for new OTA if you havent already
*Tap download button , and follow the instructions.
*Let the updater do its thing

I'm on the 05092020 build can i dirty flash the official build?? And where to find change log for the official build in comparison to the last unofficial one??

is it possible to make this build SELinux permissive? I read from the telegram channel that one cannot change said setting previously, because it breaks some stuff in the ROM.

Nope please don't change it to permissive as it breaks the camera and other safety stuff.

Clean flash from unofficial to official please. Dirty works however but you might run into a few issues.

You do have a Git changelog, right mate? Request you to link it up.

which base firmware do i need to flash this over? i didn't see it specified in the description , just LOS. i only ask because most 10 roms are either one of the two, but doesn't work on both.

The FW is included in the ROM file. You do not have to flash separately. Also the FW is 10.0.0-Hotfix one.

Ideally not, but if you never flashed the Hotfix or open beta 10.0.3 then you should once. Else if you had ever then not needed.

Directly flashing rom with or without gapps on clean slate(format data) works without having to flash any oos stuff.

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.

EvoX is a custom vendor based rom, so you have to wipe system, cache, dalvik, vendor and data.
After that follow the flashing instructions from the above ^

It works but I expected to work on the newer version of Magisk I think they will fix it soon,
although the other roms work but have some bugs that bothered me

Download the Gcam and a profile because the stock camera of this rom is not good
and lacks functions

Yes I formatted everything and even formatted vendor and tried everything there is to it. But right now I'm replying from RROS 8.6.3 for rmx1992. I had to--
1. Erase everything as per instructions provided. (Caused bootloop)
2. Then I had to download realme official (.ozip) from realme website and flash through recovery. (Still couldn't flash on latest TWRP)
3. (PANICCCCCCCCCCCC).
4. CAREFULLY read the error and noticed some "treble" thing. (Did a lot of searching on Google)
5. Flashed ORANGE FOX RECOVERY THROUGH TWRP.
6. Then flashed .ozip through Orange fox and *voila* my phone was resurrected to stock rom.
7. Then flashed rros *official 8.6.3*. ( Must say coming from Whyred RROS, it's disappointing**).
** Disappointments-
1. No FLING navigation.
2. Bluetooth range sucks.
3. Proximity sensor doesn't work and my phone heats up so much within 2 minutes it's unbearable.
4. Google Pay doesn't work.
5. EdXposed doesn't work.
But thanks to Devs for this nice rom, BATTERY BACKUP IS AWESOME.... And CUSTOMISATION is top notch....

Any updates on android 11 based Resurrection Remix for Realme X2 ?
