I ordered mine day before yesterday (afternoon) and it just shipped today. I think they were buried with orders. At least it didn't take as long as Otterbox did.

yeah when they were sending out the gray ones during christmas week, that and the bad weather caused a LOT of delays.
if you placed an order in the morning with these guys, they ship out the next day. i have purchased all 3 cases from them and that is exactly how they shipped to me.
i didnt get any bubble wrap in this one though..

Demand your money back. Or a free case of bubble wrap. Glad I waited for the red,it looks great!

the kickstand on these cases is nice. i posted a vid on the gray one i first received and the stand snapped off.. but due to the design of the stand, it seems to "detach" from its connection point rather than break in half like the otterbox.

Dang, guess I should have waited a few more days and saved a few bucks. Thought it would be a little longer before they hit ebay so I ordered directly from Ballistic as soon as I got the email that they were available. I didn't get mine yet, hopefully it comes on Monday.

this company likely purchased these direct form Ballistic. since the amazon company is a wholesaler, they can sell this at reduced costs. this is one reason why an item you see online is cheaper than seeing it in a brick and mortar... i would imagine its totally legit...
but if you are in doubt, just call up Ballistic and just ask them if this company is legit...

I'm pretty sure the eBay ones ad amazon ones are from the same company by the way

I went ahead and just ordered the red/black through Amazon's 3rd party seller "G.I.N. Deals". Can't beat it for $30.99 and free shipping. Worst case at least Amazon is in the middle so if anything goes wrong they will intervene. I must say the seller does have very high rating/reviews so they seem very legit. Ballistic got my money on the grey/black case so I couldn't pass this deal up!

Got mine today, much better than my broken Seidio "Rugged" case. My only 2 complaints are that the headphone port cover could snap closed a little better, and the case is extremely difficult to remove once you put it on. I guess that's good in a way because I know it won't just pop off if I drop it, but I definitely would't recommend this case to anyone that does frequent battery changes.

My guess is it wasn't hard at all, they just choose not to because they're making the metal wrist strap a premium item for a higher profit margin -- but they don't want the price reported as $300 in early reviews and news stories.

I don't buy the conspiracy theory.
Devices come out all the time in different configurations at different price points and it doesn't seem to bother anyone.
Also, If it's so easy and they want the profit margin, why not sell the accessory now? The best time to sell accessories is right away before interest tails off.

Buy it or not, I don't really care. I have worked at Motorola myself, and my career for the last two decades has been in consumer electronics. I know whereof I speak.
They're almost certainly delaying just to game reviews and get more profit. (It's $50 extra for phone with metal strap; want to take bets on whether the metal strap alone costs more than $50?)
Think about it: the strap is by far the easiest part to make. There's no reason to delay it, or at least, no production reason.

now wait till it comes. some where now till 27october. it should come.
payed 3€ amazon. cause ebay was like 0.50 cents cheaper. but than i could wait 1 week more. or one thath was 1.50 euro but than it was until 7november the wait.
so no just wait and see.
and i bought a IPEGA 9025 bluetooth controler 15.40euro amazon.
must say the phone get hot when u play gta. like realy hot. but what ever. the battery isnt gettign hot so must be fine

Is that the case you bought a gift case usually from seller? The tpu is soft and light, better than some one expensive.

Bought a Diztronic TPU Case for ~$9.99.... liked it but wasnt a fan of using the buttons on that case.
Bought a Ringke Fusion for ~$9.99 ...... using it to this very day, very happy with it.

This is wierd. Got a email from amazon that my ipega was sent or sonething it says it will come 8november damn long waiting. And than it says 2€ shiping wtf on amazon there was writen free shiping. So now the controler is 17,90€ something euh... And a fricking long shiping time. Still 2€ cheaper than ebay but then again 19.99€ i would have the controler 4days earlier.
Or a other one that came out at 18.99+1.99€ shiping it would come 27 october.
Bitbwierd that amazon says there is a shiping price im sure i only payed 15.53€ and no shiping.
So a very long wait for the controler.
And still waiting for my tpu case no idea when that will come. And i ordert "pressy" u know that thing u can use as a custom buton in you earphone plug. It was 0.32€ so what ever (u can find the thread on oneplus forum in accesoires). Bought if for the fun

But I saw that that are located in China. EBay sellers on China usually take 1-3 months to get your stuff

Ebay takes for me 15-30 days. Europe france
But i always search for the one who is the fastest. Around 10-20 days
I always buy from ebay. Its faster if u search for the good one.
Amazon is sometimes faster also like my case it came today. And from ebay i should wait around 1 week more minimum to get it.
If you search u can find cheaper but long shiping or a bit expensiver +/- [email protected]€ more but u will get it 1 or 2 weeks earlier
Love the case. Tpu is cool but tought it would have more grip. Its a bit plastic and feels mate but hard plastic so its a bit slippy but looks nice and protects thr phone great.

You should watch the video on how it's made. It's just a piece of bamboo pressed and laminated on a piece of plastic with indentures.

No the NFC antenna is stuck to the back cover and uses the contact points on the phone to connect them, without that antenna, NFC will not work.

Huh, on the site it really looks like a fake. I would've never bought it from that site just seeing those pictures, luckily it seems you got an original one.

I also bought my JBL Edition OPO from Aliexpress and the bamboo cover was shipped and am waiting for it. Another 50 orders were placed and 10 feedback left with all saying it is genuine and very happy with the product.
Here it is the product I have ordered. I find Aliexpress better than ebay chinese stuff sometimes and I always order products with 50+ orders and feedback and carefully read the description and take a look at the sellers description.

I am a long time developer and user on XDA so I figured I would help someone who needs a case and offer it to the first person that responds. I have the following otterbox case for anyone who wants it, just pay the buck shipping, or whatever it comes to (I am in NJ/NYC). I bought 2 of them in a rush to protect my new Pixel so of course the less expensive one came first and I like it better (slim 8 buck - ESR Essential Zero Compatible for The Pixel 3 XL Case) on Amazon. I like this one better as it fits perfectly in my butt pocket and the otterbox version is way to chunky for my taste (but is excellent for absolute total device protection) otterboxes are fantastic for protection, its just to much for me.

last time I ever do anything nice for anyone like this ever again. not only was I burned on the shipping but also for the case, I was giving it out for free but I lost on both ends, the guy either dicked me or it was truly stolen from his mailbox, either way, this will be the last time ever! I escalated to USPS as theft and police but nothing will come from it, its been over a month since opening it

That is unfortunate, don't let it lose all hope though. I did something similar and sent a several hundred Euros to a young dev in Romania to get a new device. He bough said device so he could keep developing (I had the same device). I could see how your situation is discouraging though.

I will also say, that my faith in humanity has been restored. A (stranger) XDA user who was following this forum and I have never met, "gifted" me enough dollars to cover the shipping and what was lost. She didnt have to do this and was out of the good of her heart just to restore humanity!
