On my LG G6 I could receive mms when mobile data was off, it turned on automatic and when mms was received it turned off again, great for saving battery.
My LG G7 ThinQ can not do that, anybody knows why? Both phones on Android 8.0

Maybe there is a way to use tasker to toggle the setting on/off for reading texts aloud, based on whether you are connected via bluetooth?

Hi, I recently got a new LG G5. Now, although I can call and text, when I turn on mobile data, I cant see any H+ or 3G sign. i have tried adding a new APN but to no avail.

on lg g2, g3, g4, g5, g6 mobile data automatically turn on
is there an application or other for the phone to activate the mobile data automatically?

I’m in the U.K. and recently bought a secondhand LG G7 smart phone that has been unlocked from T-Mobile. Since it’s now unlocked I put in my 3 mobile sim and I am able to make phone calls but I cannot go on the internet even though data is enabled. I then get APN details from 3 mobile to enter and I save the new APN and restart the phone but I am still not able to get on the internet on the phone. Please advise.
LG G8 won't call or receive calls after the update to G820UM40a...was working before...not after. WiFi calling is grayed out. Calls terminate within a couple of seconds. I have internet & other than the calling issue, the phone works very well. Does anyone have ideas on what to do? I don't have a menu listing for Network changes..what would be a good way to get into the GSM settings?
Or does anyone have the last ATT Android 10 or 11 rom?
