Hello everyone,
I am about to buy a smart TV soon(a Samsung smart led TV model ua48j5200) and it's specs includes screen mirroring but Samsung website mentioned that all devices must be on the same network and that internet connection is required!!!
My question is will I be able to cast/view my mi max screen on such tv ? and why is internet needed for such connection?
Well it states "Mobile to TV - Mirroring, DLNA"
http://www.samsung.com/us/televisio...s-smart-tv-48-class-47-6-diag-un48j5200afxza/
What it Doesn't state is what WiFi module is integrated.
I had a problem with the Mirroring on Sony, it worked but rather whose too slow & unless probably the WiFi 2.4 GHz module on the TV side, so I switched to DLNA casting using Nero Stream app & so far it works.
my mi remote worked fine out of the box and could see a list of tvs until i did a factory reset!!.........now mi remote app doesnt have tv in the list( only mi tv).
i uninstalled the app and reinstalled from google play but still the same!!
am on miui 7.5.6.0 global stable!!
i have never used such a weird brand in my life!!
as seen in the attached screenshot........the tv icon is gone!!!!!!!!
http://en.miui.com/thread-505607-1-1.html?mobile=2
seems the bug is very common........shame on xiaomi.

Hi Everyone,
I have a Normal old generation LED tv with HDMI, but no WiFi. and I want to use my Z2 plus as Android tv and connect it through HDMI to tv.
Is it possible? if yes please suggest some...
Also, I am okay with using only the phone's motherboard as device for connecting tv.

You can amazon fire stick and believe it is quite good. You should have WiFi internet in your home. Otherwise chromecast, but amazon fire stick is superior. You can later install kodi
Sent from my z2_plus using XDA Labs
Hi ,
i am using Cloudwalker 32inch X2 series Andriod TV , intermediately my tv Restart with an error " TV API Services has Stopped " . can you please suggest me
i am using the TV connected with my WIFI , if i am using Lan port there is no issue .
Can i turn my oneplus 7t into tv remote control? If yes how to do it?
Remote as in how? IR blaster?
You need to buy an external USB C one.
Or you can do it through WiFi.... If you have a smart tv... Well if your tv supports it. For instance I have a Vizio TV. They have a remote control app on the play store.. Just connect the TV and the phone to your WiFi and boom.. works like a charm. Even gives you more options than the remote that comes with the TV.
