I'm running OOS 3.1.3 rooted and xposed. What should be my process for updating to 3.2 when it's available?
Normally I've found that when updating you will need to reinstall the xposed framework.
I'm 99% sure your OP3 will still be rooted as it just updates files and doesnt for an unroot of your device.
I had to re-flash superSU after applying the 3.2 update but I installed the full rom and not the ota so that may be different.

Flash full rom 008 then OTA 008-010 then reboot, finally it works,
flashing 3.2 on rooted op3 will lose data? and after flashing will it be still rooted

I successfully flashed to OOS 3.2.0 with systemless SU and systemless Xposed v85.7
Coming from OOS 3.1.3 with systemless SU and Xposed v85
1. Booted into TWRP wiped Cache & Dalvik
2. Flashed Full ROM 3.2.0
3. Wiped Cache & Dalvik
4. Flashed systemless SU and systemless Xposed v85.7
5. Wiped Cache & Dalvik
6. Reboot
success!

I did exactly the same.
No issues, everything is working fine without any data loss.
Thanks!

I clicked reboot prior to flashing SU and Xposed. Now i lost root and TWRP.
How do I get it back? any way to do it without losing data?

I guess the bootloader is still opened, so just flash back TWRP and install xposed and supersu.

You are correct...i did the one click and it was back, no data loss
I'm not sure what I should do here and since my phone is now 98% restored, I hesitate to do anything else without some guidance.
Long story short:
Clean flash of CM13 - ate my battery
Clean flash of OOS 3.2.2 - killed TWRP and Root
Re-installed TWRP
Re-Rooted
Restored from nandroid backup but system couldn't be restored because it was read-only
Accidentally, then cleared the system cache and got "you have no OS warning"
Reflash of OOS 3.2.2 was unsuccessful, multiple times. I then flashed CM13 and it gave me OOS 3.2.2
I don't know how I recovered the OS but it is there - 3.2.2, and all of the data from the backup.
It's a miracle.
My problem:
I can't get the XPosed framework to install, even after trying to uninstall then re-install. TWRP says everything goes perfectly well. I clear Dalvik/Cache and reboot and the installer says the framework is not installed.
I had Xposed installed before all of this but now it won't install.
Note - I was able to flash another package (Viper4Android and Dolby Atmos) so it's not TWRP itself or that process.
Thoughts?
----------------------------------------
Edit - for those in the same predicament...this is fixed:
1) Re-flash OOS 3.22 - lost TWRP and root again
2) Flash TWRP
3) Flash SU
4) Flash Xposed Framework
I've been trying to flash xposed on latest rooted stock rom in the latest twrp but it doesn't seem to stick. When flashing the file there's no error message and it does mount the system for read/write, but when the phone restarts it doesn't register xposed. I've tried flashing v84 and v86. I've flashed xposed many times before but never encountered this issue. What could be the reason for this?
Same thing happened to me yesterday. Are you clearing your caches before and after flashing? I had to do a fresh install of the latest ROM, clear caches, Root, clear caches, Boot into recovery, flash xposed, clear caches. Then it installed I'm on 3.2.2 with v86 ARM-64.
Thanks for the reply! It didn't work unfortunately. Still doesn't stick. Never experienced that before.. very odd

Having the same issue here on stock OOS. I've flashed xposed a bunch of times without issue. Now it just doesn't stick for some reason.
did u use the arm64 version also have u tried systemless root, i have more success with that than the other xposed
Same problem here :/
if anyone found a fix, please help
Had the same issue, solved it by :
EDIT: make sure to have a pc with adb/fastboot close to you, for me the clean flash also flashed stock recovery. You could also possibly (haven't tried that) flash twrp itself right after flashing the full zip
Wipe system/cache/dalvik
Flash ONLY full zip - Reboot
Flash ONLY Supersu - reboot
Flash xposed - reboot - should work
No clearing caches after the very first wipe! Installed EX Kernel after xposed, too.
Hope this helps
I got it sorted by flashing the latest version of FreedomOS. Xposed works fine on that one
Hello. I have flashed FreedomOS 1.4.2 rom and I noticed that after each reboot android optimizes sometimes 10 or 12 or 13 apps. At first I thought it was because of titanium backup so I re flashed rom (wiped system/data/cache/dalvik and used zip again, then flashed xposed framework, wiped dalvik and cache) but the problem still existed. I have searched through the thread and couldn't find answer. How can I fix it. Thanks
So I recently installed bootleggers 3.5 PIE and facebook and other app notifications don't work reliably. Interestingly I had a similar problem on my moto g running lineage os. So this could be due to my flashing process. I do have a miui backup I can rollback to if needed. I do have magisk installed but this shouldn't make a difference. I am also not running a custom kernel but am using adoptable storage. I have wiped system data cache vendor dalvik then installed bootleggers gapps reboot and setup then installed magisk. Could magiskhide be conflicting
