I also have a U+ F180L and nothing via OTA. However, if you goto:
http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=<your IMEI here>
you will find that F180L20H_00.kdz(4.1.2 JB) is available for download.

The last IMM76L update I got from LG messed up my Wi-Fi (giving error messages, works otherwise), hopefully this JB update will fix that. How do I install the download from the link, with this KDZ software, or should we better wait until it gets pushed to us OTA?

hey guys, could anybody of you lucky ones provide a system dump? we would appreciate it really much! alternatively a few apk files could be copied, like launcher, widgets and so on, and maybe system libs/framework.
can't extract files from .dz format.does someone know the way?
Can I use F180K20B_00.kdz and F180S20D_00.kdz for F180L ?
To extract DZ files, you need the dzextract application. Dig around a bit. Time to attempt to port this.
Ok, i pulled .dz and .dll out, so how i can extract .dz? Dzextract doesnt work, says wrong header
of course it doesn't work,we need new tools.
So has anyone installed those

Hey guys,
My Grand still hasn't received the 4.2.2 update. I have the Taiwanese version and its been almost 3 months and still no news. Most other regions have 4.2.2 already. Do you think I should wait or should I flash another region?
My concern with flashing to another region is that I'd lose my display language. Preferably I'd like to keep the Chinese Traditional display language. Would flashing it to another region mean my languages change to that region?
I'm really fed up on waiting for updates now, the Russian region got this update in August and now its November and still no sign of it for the Taiwanese model...
Thanks,
Anthony

Hi All, I've got a Galaxy note Dual sim SM-N930FD
But it currently has a "three" branded firmware on it, I want to flash it with a generic firmware with no carrier branding.
I'm familiar with flashing but have no idea which firmware I need to use for this, I'm in the UK and the handsets CSC is H3G
thanks for any help
You can use the N930F firmware too.

So I can just flash it with UK XEU firmware for a SM-N930F??
Yes. I originally had the United Arab Emirates firmware and went to BTU, XEU now I'm on DTM. Or if you're more comfortable with this.

I have the same phone, sm-n930fd... Which firmware is best for English speaking person? Or does it not matter since it is international? I don't really need any update since i have the latest with root and TekHD's hybrid 5.1 ROM....but I know less than you so I ask anyhow.

From my personal experience I've tried various different official stock roms from United Arab Emirates, Germany, UK, Panama, New Zealand, South Africa and Italy. I have not seen any differences in language selection apart from all of them not having English (Canada), and some of them still have the option to charge 80 percent in the second latest update!

I have SM-N930FD UAE version I flashed it with hydra Rom but then went back to stock which is UAE and with 80% battery charging, if firmware got updated recently then you will be restricted to 60% charge only. if you tried other than UAE version please share your experience here.

Hi
Did you find any version which can charge upto 100%? I am using UAE version having 80% charge but recently when it was updated on 1st Nov this option was eliminated. I am looking for downgrade but unable to do that, do you know any solution?

I do but its an August firmware (N930FXXU1BPHA) that we cannot use anymore. I've tried flashing it over any September or later updated roms but always get an error on Odin. It's useless if you're on a September or later rom in other words lol. The only way to get back 100% is flash Hydra.

Hi, I have a Note 10+ 5G from South Korea with CSC: KOO (unbranded). I live in London and use Vodafone UK which has many 5G spots arroung but my phone always tells me "LTE+". Any solution for that? my friend's N976B picks up 5G fine.

As far as i know the bands are compatible. Vodafone UK uses the n78 band 3500mHz which is used in south korea too. The phone came with "LG U+" CSC (LUC) but i changed it to KOO (Unbranded) with SamKEY tool. No knox trips and it lost all the bloatware from the carrier. The things which are not working are: Samsung Pay (don't care), Wifi- Calling (Option is not visible but i get VoLTE) and most importantly 5G.

Use the tool SamKEY (I can't put links here, please Google it) you need to purchase credits from a reseller (I bought from networkunlocking-com) .

I downloaded the samkey and bought units from the same people you bought from which was around 11 GBP. I logged in successfully and when I said to read codes it returned error messages, phone is not supported. How are you able to do this? Pls

Let me know how, I tried my best to find a free solution but I had to take money out of the wallet. It would help people a lot
Flashing the latest starwars released firmware for sm-n976n changed my csc to KOO from KTC. But 5G will not work outside Korea. I think it does not support n78 5g band. In Gsm arena you can check n78 is not mentioned there.
Due device Carrier Policy 5G is not enabled outside from Korea. Also in Korea could be different 4G CA Combinations defined to hardware. You can help to understand supported combinations by contributing this info here: https://cacombos.com/contribute

It helps to understand supported 4G & 5G bands and combinations of your device. Otherwise there is no other site to check it.

I think Your sm-n976n version is Qualcomm so ShannonDM doesn't work for you. It work only Exynos based. If you don't have ShannonDM License I recommend use scat it's free software.
