Hey people!
Wishing Happy New Year to All
so, as many of you are aware during the Xmas Holidays EA has lowered a few of their top games to $0.99
FIFA 2010
Sims 3
Need for Speed Shift
Tetris
The offer is still on, not sure for how much longer, so if you plan to pick them up, you better do it soon before they run out.
Now comes the question, have any of you seen any other good games for $0.99? say from games from Gameloft or any of those big guys?
Thanks for the tip.. Just bought nfs and the sims. Unfortunately i can't find fifa
Edit: nfs doesn't work

what do you mean?
did you let NFS download the additional 150 MB of data that it needs to play?
it only does it via WiFi
A while back Gameloft gave away one of their games for free if you went to the website with your android device.
Cheaper then $0.99 .
Btw, NFS shift doesn't work here either; I only managed to get to the car selection screen once.
It force closes during loading.
exactly same here it forse closes at car selection...
Hello all,
I would like to play all of the awesome new titles coming out but it seems like NONE of them are compatible with my shinny new GS2. I know the GS2 has the juice to run these games flawlessly but their simply not available and don't work... Could someone help me out and let me know if it is possible to play these games with Chainfire 3D?
Shadowgun
9MM
Modern Combat 2 (3 when it is released..)
GT Racing
It is simply rediculas we own the most powerful device on the market and we can't play the best games because the devs are too lazy to follow standards
Well I've been fighting with this phone since day one to get these to work... I have the nvdia plug in and i changed the market settings and still nothing. I know i can go off market and get them... But i prefer to pay the devs for their apps.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA App
I'm just considering my options.
I am a gamer. But from what I see on Wikipedia, the game base for this is very limited with crap ps1 games like jumping flash.... ammi rite?
Considering this vs. the new HTC One X.
Is there a successor to this phone coming soon?
Trying to get caught up on this model and series...
I see now, 228 games listed in the other forum.
Though, I was hoping for some quality PS1 games at least.
It would be sweet to be able to play my PSN purchased ps1 games or ps2 games. Final Fantasy 7,8,9,10 Silent Hills, Resident Evils, etc...
=(
Well you can also install emulators for other consoles.
And FPSE is is good for all your PS1 games.
I and one other person are also working on getting PSXPeria working again as alot of people are having problems. Which lets you play PS1 games on the native Xperia Play emulator for better compatibility. We're almost there. Once we're both tested it, I'll make a thread for it with detailed instructions.
Xperia Play is a great phone and gaming device. Can emulator the other consoles, so really the gamebase is HUGE.

If your a gamer get the Xperia Play. It's cheaper and it's an all rounder. Loads of games on it as well.
Oh and Sonic 4 Episode 2 will be coming out on it as well sweet ! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1521835
With the release of the Playstation Suite in April (probably along with our ICS update) we should hopefully see an increase in good quality games

Spot on
I guess you should evaluate it from every angle.
Unfortunately, I think Xperia Play is already at the end of its support life. Probably from 2013 on we'll have almost no support, and I'm kinda willing to bet there'll be no official Jelly Bean for us (though we have a great team here at xda that surely will make it work for us) while HTC One X will probably receive support til 2014.
Besides, the hardware on One X seems better from the spec sheet.
On the other hand, Xperia Play works very well for the daily use and have this amazing touchpad that I love. Until it starts to be too laggy to work on a daily basis, I'm not willing to exchange it for any other device.
So, it's really your call and priorities. We'll be waiting you to join us!
For quite a while any device with a tegra 3 processor wasn't able to play any gameloft games without a cracked version of it, and chances are that there were bugs or the multiplayer didn't save stats and so forth. But last night i notcied that some games were appearing and then this morning even more appeared and the one that caught my attention was Order and Chaos online. Is anyone else getting these or is my market stuffing up? I managed to download dungeon hunter 3 successfully however, so it looks like we might finally be getting these games, can't wait for modern combat 3 being ive already bought it for my sg1 -_-
Hello, I have some almost philosophical doubts
Why are there so few games in the official Amazon store for the firetv ? (In the official amazon store, how many new apps have been incorporated in 2020, I think very few)
The best graphics are only available in Asphalt 8: Airborne ?
If anyone wants to contribute their ideas.
Best regards
Probably because not many developers care about adding controller support and adding them to the amazon store.
Just play emulators and play the best games
