Download PitchBlack Recovery flashable zip from bellow
Extract the PBRP PC installer zip & copy the flashable zip to the installer folder
Goto fastboot mode in your device
Windows users open pbinstaller.bat file
Linux users execute pbinstaller.sh in a terminal
Follow the introductions on the installer from there

WARNING! : My recoveries uses TW_CRYPTO_USE_SYSTEM_VOLD := qseecomd flag.
What does that mean? Read this commit message to understand in depth.
For those who want simple explanations: This flag enables TWRP or it's based recoveries to use system's VOLD in case, the one shipping with recoveries is unable to decrypt the encryption. However, in case the system is empty (for e.g. you wiped system and rebooted into recovery), recoveries will be unable to use system's VOLD and hence decryption will fail completely. Kindly don't do that and report it.

The UI is awesome! I'm living for it! Btw I tried flashing the zip from TWRP and it ended up with error 1. I flashed with the PC installer and it worked just fine Mine's Z00L. Anyone else on this device tested it?

just unzip the zip file. take the file recovery.img from TWRP folder and flash it via twrp, then copy or move the folder PBRP to sdcard.
I think the error when installing because there is no install script in the zip file ,. the possibility of forgetting to put the file there.

Z00T user here, recovery seems to bootup also i can lock the screen but touchjng anything? i cant.. even swiping to unlock.

Seems kernel's touchscreen driver issue. I will check if I messed up something.

work fine here , zoot (zd551kl).

Nice work and refreshing to see something other than the original twrp
File manager path status line, the dark red/maroon text is a bit dark, possible to make it brighter?

About treble supporting for our smartphone isn't recovery don't support treble.
Please just add a /vendor to recovery.fstab just rebuild recovery with this.
I think it's do like this
/vendor /dev/block/platform/soc.0/7824900.sdhci/by-name/vendor (I think it's right)
I think Recovery build so hard for me. I will rebuild a kernel with vendor supporting

tried this, but the size of icons and fonts are too small, imho. would you consider making it easier to read/confirm? also, some solution to get usb-otg working? thanks. the attached screenshots are only for visual comparison, please note.

It's okay now, I switched my rom to a new one instead of flashing the stock and it worked

Oh my bad, if I encrypt my internal storage and use pattern for lock screen will this be able to decrypt it while start up so that I can install stuff in twrp.
PS: I tried didn't work. Shows pattern error.

Oh Kay, When I encrypt the phone using phone encryption in the settings menu, will this version of twrp able to mount the storage when I enter the pattern or pin during twrp start up, which I used to lock the phone.

I did that but it's showing error. That decrypt is not possible. I'm on Havoc latest build and fw339 flashed.

I tried And it booted swipe to unlock on lockscreen was not working

Hello everyone. Will there be recovery on android 12 (Rui3.0)?

We have deeptest on Realme ui 3.0

I didnt own the device, or had no testing support from device cummunity so everything stopped.

Lockscreen/flashlight not working. But there's worse : no data decryption. If i format data, then it's not recognized anymore by the system (and not seen on computer)!! Same for you?

Installation Instructions
From previous version or other recovery
Download the PitchBlack zip to your device
Reboot to your current custom recovery
Flash the PitchBlack zip
The device will automatically reboot into PitchBlack Recovery after installation
Enjoy
From PC
Download PitchBlack Recovery flashable zip from bellow
Extract the PBRP zip
Goto fastboot mode in your device
Flash the recovery.img by fastboot flash recovery.img
Boot into PBRP
Copy the zip to internal storage
Flash it

Didn't tested, I think OOS 12 will be decryptable since it uses FBEv2 Encryption. U may test it. Currently I don't run OOS one my device.

I have tested on 3 OnePlus Nord devices before posting it here. No issues with any of them.

Before flash I tried to boot with fastboot boot. The recovery must work even is only booted

I successfully booted from fastboot to recovery using command
fastboot boot <path to recovery image>
No issue with the image file

If your stock rom is android 11 then i dont think it will work only works for a12,13 roms

After downloading try flastboot flash, for some reason fastboot boot was not flashing the recovery for me either at first
