People who have issues with incall audio dying on ROMs with enforcing Selinux , are advised to flash latest stock oreo rom (339+)again(i.e. relock bootloader) then come back on custom rom to use bugless experience...

So My Last build has some Issues, we are working on that. Here is the report
1. Incall Audio issue for some carrier(Now it fully fixed by our sweet gud tester and I personally tested it, working Perfectly)
2. Google Assistant not working(Usless Report, None of the tester face such issue.)
3. UI Lag (That's due to to buggy kernel where user are flashing, We recommending Three kernel as of now. Pe Stock Kernel, Azure Kernel and TBH kernel)
4. Fingerprint Not working (That's due to buggy kernel where user are flashing, We recommending Three kernel as of now. Pe Stock Kernel, Azure Kernel and TBH kernel)
5. Notification LED Not working: Actually, that partially false bug, Notification LED is working while receiving notification, only issue it doesn't light while charging, so people use the hack for that, but did in a correct way. and everything is working perfectly now.
So report the bug with full log only with proof, moderators are actively monitoring the thread.

updator process ended with error 7?
just download winrar(7 zip didn't work for me) and notepad++(for proper indentation)
go to meta inf -> com -> google -> android -> updator script and delete the assert lines till the ui lines. simple AF

Now I'm facing two bugs. Bugs or not I can't actually tell cuz it can be something which is absent totally from oreo. I'm using It on 43, open gapps Pico, and absolutely 0 customizations. I found these errors before restoring data which am doing now
First is facelock from trusted face option. If you want logs I can give but how should I give for something that isn't exactly a bug, is the feature taken back after nougat?
2nd I've a class 10 128 gb SD card at exfat. I everytime I reboot I need to set it up which itself isn't a problem but all apps needs to be setup. Again I'm ready to post logcats but when should I extract them? After rebooting?
Rest if I face bugs will definitely tell you. But battery heating is hugely decreased

So, the battery life is pretty good.
No heating problems so far.
Rooted using Magisk.
Flashed TOSSUG BabyFish kernel by @tywinlannister7 and it works perfectly alright.
Smooth AF.
I didn't face any problems with the camera, but only flash is not working.
VoLTE didn't need toggling either unlike the other Oreo ROMs.
Overall, I have found a new daily driver thanks to @keerten :highfive:

Now I'm facing two bugs. Bugs or not I can't actually tell cuz it can be something which is absent totally from oreo. I'm using It on 43, open gapps Pico, and absolutely 0 customizations. I found these errors before restoring data which am doing now
First is facelock from trusted face option. If you want logs I can give but how should I give for something that isn't exactly a bug, is the feature taken back after nougat?
2nd I've a class 10 128 gb SD card at exfat. I everytime I reboot I need to set it up which itself isn't a problem but all apps needs to be setup. Again I'm ready to post logcats but when should I extract them? After rebooting?
Rest if I face bugs will definitely tell you. But battery heating is hugely decreased

Actually face lock thingy willbe there soon it isn't in source tho i will search on it nd regard that micro sd card i havn't faced any ... So clean install is always recommended nd do no restore :3

Smooth AF.
I didn't face any problems with the camera, but only flash is not working.
VoLTE didn't need toggling either unlike the other Oreo ROMs.
Overall, I have found a new daily driver thanks to @keerten :highfive:

I didn't use any thrid-party app, it worked automatically.
Although if you are facing problems, try the Footej App. It worked for me in other Oreo ROMs with camera issue.
And as far as flash goes, I have no clue.

Clean flash it was. And yeah okay. I'll try with my fat32 SD card today and report.
Did anyone try using a 3rd party app for flash? It is reported to work on other oreo roms.

Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile. It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stableMagisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

DTS stands for Double Tap to sleep.. In this case, it's DTS on the status bar.. Battery SOT can't be exact but it will be similar to other treble pie rom which is not bad(alpha stage) since it's based on same treble trees..

Me too..rom no have messaging app and at first setup my apn is empty, need to set manually
Most of the things works great
issues i faced :

Volte working (hack) but mobile data doesnt work
No support for utouch

Here too . Same thing cannot open battery settings . Using room with gapps aroma . Almost all stock apps except for photos .

- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

So What is F2FS
F2FS (Flash-Friendly File System) is a flash file system initially developed by Samsung Electronics for the Linux kernel.[2]
The motive for F2FS was to build a file system that, from the start, takes into account the characteristics of NAND flash memory-based storage devices (such as solid-state disks, eMMC, and SD cards), which are widely used in computer systems ranging from mobile devices to servers.
F2fs wasn't popular before because of its shortcomings, which Google fixed in pixel 3 and now it ships both pixel 3 and 3xl with F2fs. We have mainline F2fs being used here too
Currently, Our Device is running with ext4, Where the 30-40 MB/s as Random Read with 8449.53 IOPS and 5-10 MB/s for Random Writes with 2527.79 IOPS.
But After Enabling the f2fs(flash-friendly filesystem), We have seen that the 40-50 MB/s for Random Read with 10500.12 IOPS and 110-120 MB/s for Random Wite with 28037.69 IOPS.
Yes, this not the best READ and Write speed for f2fs, but this is the current best rate for our device. And we will improve it more in the future. But Ya it is faster than current ext4 which all users are using now.
So the main question is what is the benefit of this new file system F2FS
1. U will see better performance in day to day usage such as app opening time, copying paste, restore and app installing speed will increase.
2. Some gaming, you will get good FPS also.
3. Obviously battery life will get improve.
4. As we are custom rom flasher, So f2fs will help to extend the life of our storage (EMMC).
So it Looks Good yeh? but every technology has bad thing also with good feature, so ya here it is.
1. To change from EXT4 to F2FS need formate on out /data and cache partition and with a clean flash
2. If u change to f2fs and want to use ur favorite kernel, u have to check whether kernel support f2fs or not.
3. If the rom have bad f2fs configuration u will not see any difference between ext4 and f2fs.
4. If u come back to ur stock ext4, then again need to clean whole data.
Ahhh So much lecture done. So here is the Flashing Procedure if u want to taste the beauty of f2fs, flashig procedure written by @ujjwal20
1. First Backup all You Stuff to Your Memory card or to ur PC
2. Boot ur device to TWRP (Note U must flash Latest Twrp by @krasCGQ Download Link (https://t.me/ASUSX00TD/207848)also will post in OP
3. Select Wipe
4. Tick Data > Advanced Wipe
5. Select Change FS
6. Select F2FS and swipe
7. Repeat step 4-6 with Cache
8. Reboot
OPTIONAL
9. Flash a f2fs supported kernel if you want.
10. Flash a root solution.
And for Those who don't want to use f2fs, flash the rom normally as u are doing earlier.

Make Sure you are Flashing it over Any Realme UI Firmware/ Don't flash it over Color os Firmware!!
- Make sure you're running the latest TWRP/OrangeFox
- Boot into recovery
- Wipe System, vendor, data, cache and dalvik cache
- Flash ROM.zip
- Format data
- Reboot to recovery (optional)
- Flash Magisk.zip (optional)
- Reboot to system
Update / Dirty Flash
- Boot into recovery
- Wipe cache and dalvik cache
- Flash ROM.zip
- Reboot to recovery (optional)
- Flash Magisk.zip (optional)
- Reboot to system
First boot will take few minutes! Have patience!
Clean Flash is always recommended!

I'm a realms xt user, and I appreciate your work to provide so many custom ROMs to xt.
But it's not about having all the ROMs ported to xt, but having a stable ROM.
All of the custom ROMs basically have same features.
Rather than spending time and effort to different roms, please spend it fix issues surrounding any particular ROM.
The fingerprint recognition is still not so good.
It doesn't work like the stock ROM, if you could spend your precious time fixing the bugs rather than porting different roms, I would really appreciated and I'm pretty sure that's what most people want.
In the end of the day, you can only use one ROM as a daily driver.

Really? Lol.. Then use Realme UI or Buy Redmi. Why are you crying here! If you can, you build yourself with ultra fast fp. Actually you don't about difference between building roms and porting roms. But you were speaking about custom roms. Wah.. I didn't tell you "Use my Rom". U literally don't know anything about Roms & Realmeme.

Fingerprint is superfast in every custom rom I have tried till now(AEX,Havoc,Lineage,revenge)
Have you use any rom?
If not then plz use and tell others.
Every rom is different and it feels good to have a lot of custom roms for our device.
Ask some honor vivo or oppo guys how they feel.

did you read guide fully? You need to do format data by typing yes in wipe section in twrp & reboot. It should boot.

This is enforcing build. So clean flash better. Btw, you can dirty flash it. If you face any bugs, clean flash it. That's it.
Tried RUI build, most thing works so far, very smooth and fp both aod and normal is very fast.
But here's what I found, auto brightness not working, also disabling volte status bar icon need network reset(flight mode) to disappear.
