[Q] Flashed Nitro system image on LU6200. Worked but wifi error

I just flashed the system.img (Bell P930) on LU6200. Everything worked fine (call, sms, 2g, 3g, bluetooth, ect) but wifi error.
I can root it also.
I plan to copy wifi drivers on stock LU6200 rom to replace on the new one. But I did not know which wifi drivers I should copy?
Any help?

I'm using LU6200 too. There is a problem that all incoming SMS are marked ANONYMOUS. Any solution for this?

You should probably flash your original firmware image back (not everything, just firmware). I think that will get you wifi.

i am also using LG LU6200. i really like this.
the one causing the txt sender not being recognize is the newest update OTA. you need to flash your phone with the lower fw and never update the phone yet bec the new update has bugs.
i hope we can make this work with the P930 rom...

By the way, I tried several ways to root my lu6200, but nothing works, how did you do that? What about that P930 image, cna you share it too?

LU6200 are similar phone's? It'll be a kernel issue Wi-Fi

Me too.

I had these issues after I updated the phone to the newest firmware, and so I just did a factory reset this morning and all is well with text messages now.
Before I had to type in *#*#4636#*#* in the dialpad, choose "Phone Information", scroll down to the SMSC (text message center number) and hit refresh every time I try to send a text message, was pretty annoying
Oh, BTW, tried 4-5 root programs with all the tips I could find around them, still no joy, keeps saying the file system is read-only, so they couldn't copy the superuser.apk app. Hopefully someone knows Korean to look at the U+ forums?

SMS Problem: Unknown sender

Hello,
I have jt bought an LG Optmius LTE (LU6200, U+ Korean). An i am facing the following issues with which I kindly ask for your support
1. Whenever I receive an SMS, the number of sender doesnot show up, it only say "Unknown sender"
2. Is it possible for me to replace the ROM of my phone with the one of LG Nitro HD ?

Someone mentioned in another thread that the latest firmware for your phone is buggy. See if you can track down an older .kdz file and flash it to your phone.

I do not think it has anything to do with your firmware specifically. I have had the same problem on my Nitro HD, and I just lived with it until I changed my SMS app.
If I were to guess I would say 1/15 text messages did this, although I noticed that when I changed to Go SMS the problem stopped happening.

I'm using Go SMS Pro myself, and I find that I get this problem every now and then.

You could be correct, I just switched to Go SMS this last week and on Friday I did a Factory Restore and have not reinstalled any apps as I am waiting for a replacement in the mail. It is very likely that I had just not noticed it before I restored, there was a window of about 4 days.

Hoàng: You should downgrade to 128 and then flash Nitro Rom, after that run lu6200 fixes. There is a thread about that (currently, it's on top of this forum)

There is no fix. This is a bug in the current official ROM.

Hi I just updated my paranoid android rom to 4.1 beta and am now unable to make or receive calls now. I tried reflashing the rom but no luck anyone else have this problem? anyone know how to fix it?

I had similiar issue in Omega ROM, when I called there were no signal in speaker, but screen showed that the other side answered. I just restart the device or if that diesn't help try to reset to factory settings/wipe everything and flash ROM again. Sometimes I can't hear sounds from back speaker after using some apps (probably flash player f#*ks it up)

Go to settings>>sounds>>scroll down to system>>tick mark all the the 5 options under it (dial pad touch tones ,touch sounds ,screen lock sound,vibrate on touch and vol.adjustment sound) then REBOOT,try making a phone call ,it should work.

I have downgraded the firmware to 4.1.2, however the problem still persists.
Viber, Skype works well......only issues is in making regular gsm codes
any help is appreciated

let me understand. when someone calling your ringtone does not have sound? or when you are talking other person can't hear your voice?

Network Problem in MIUI 9

There were no issues in miui 8. Yesterday I got update 9.2 and after installation I faced a weird issue.
I am using dual SIM. OS shows both sim detected but no signal then single sim detected no signal and sometimes no sim detected. And continuously changing status of sim detection.
When I saw Phone information cellular power was turning on and off and asu value switching to 99.
Access Point network was giving could not find apn error. Preferred network was disabled most of the time. And you have to be lucky to change its value from prefer LTE to prefer 3G. And everything starts working. Switch back to LTE and you have no network again.
Resetting phone doesn't change anything. I insatlled latest developer rom 8.1.25 and issue was still there. Switching back to 8.5.4 solves the problem. I want to use MIUI 9. Is there any solution? Searching on xda I learned that some people faced similar problem on LOS

If you even have it on latest nightly, then no there is no solution yet.

Thanks for the response. xda used to be very active forum. I thought someone using LineageOs on xiaomi would suggest some solution. But it seems mi5s has very few users.

Don't forget that the Mi5s was not sold internationally, only in a few selected markets (China, I think India and a few other Asian ones). Those users are typically not very active on XDA for language reasons.

I'm having the same problem, when I tryed to downgrade to the last MIUI 8 stable, the problem was not solved. I rooted the phone and I've using LTE Discovery and I saw that this is an eCSFB issue, the phone try to connect at 4G network but can't register and I don't know what to do.

I tried 9.1.1.0 stable rom and issue was resolved. Then I got update of 9.2.1.0 stable after a few days and I thought it's not beta anymore and maybe they have resolved the bug so I updated and problem was back.
I searched on internet and tried this solution.
Download fastboot rom (I downloaded 8.5.3.0 for mi5s), extract its contents and find NON-HLOS.bin
Fastboot this file by command:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
Issue is resolved by this and I am able to use 4g again on latest rom
Update: Just when I thought issue is resolved, flashing this file got me into other issues. I can use 4g without any problem but Now there is no audio in YouTube videos in Youtube app but If I use chrome to watch videos there is no problem with audio. Similarly there is no audio when watching videos via MI Video. So I had to go back to v9.1.1.0

I tryed to flash NON-HLOS.bin file but I still can't connect to LTE network...

You are not able to use 4g even after downgrade, so, I am afraid that you are facing a different problem.
Are you able to use 3g/2g?

Yes, I'm able to use 2G/3G. Looks like a another problem different from yours.

Call your operator. Maybe they need to enable something in your configuration on their site, this is sometimes needed with rare phones.
