Hello friends!
I wonder is there any way to get full Google Pixel Buds support with S9? I mean getting real-time translation and auto detect using custom roms, root, xposed or whatever..

HI - I have a Pixel XL and like a lot about the phone, but I LOVE the photo app for the Galaxy S7 or Note 5. Is there any way to load the Samsung Photo apk on a pixel? If so, any tips are appreciated.
Same request here.. If anyone can help..
I wish we could, I have been trying to. The problem is, Google use to primarily function as the developer that produces software to operate on all of the devices running Android, so if you had a Samsung phone you could install any application for the most part off the play store or published by Google. We are now however in uncharted waters where users now own a Google device and are looking to run software from another manufacturer. Unlike Google Samsung doesn't give there software away for free as open source, they sell their software as part of the package in buying one of their devices.
It's a bad situation since Samsung built their photo gallery from Google's com.android.gallery.3d, but than stopped developing the app all together once they decided to merge their Google photos app with the standard device gallery. It was at that point that Samsung developed the app further, adding all the features such as playing video with the devices screen off, advanced tile viewing above 3 photos per line ect, ect.

Hello,
I have a car, the Citroen C-Elysee with support for Android Auto and MirrorLink; Android Auto works ok, but MirrorLink is not supported on MIUI afaik.
I'd read that MirrorLink has more features than Android Auto, so I'd like to test it
Any custom rom, hack app that by any means could enable it ?
Thanks in advance !
No way. Why don't you use Android Auto with root access

Yep ! I didn't know about it, works awesome !!!
But I crawled a while until I got it to work: Android Auto version < 3 required, and enable unknown sources in Android auto.
Also I've found a newer version "Plus" with some more options.
Thanks a lot.
does it work with VW infotainment (Passat B8, Discover media) ???
Do not want to use AndroidAuto, limited to Google apps only (Idem with Apple and their system).
Any way to install Mirrorlink, tho?
I have a DS5 and it is not compatible with Android Auto, but only with MirrorLink.
You can't install Mirrorlink on the unsupported phone, since this technology uses hardware components, afaik. It is actually dead technology since there is small set of phones supported (check out on the official mirrorlink website)
mirrorlink unsupported with my mi9 and other xiaomi phones. Crying...
Don't like android auto limited to google apps. beeaaarkk !!! ****.

The always on display part is easy, but not the now playing feature.
Hello,
I was wondering, if it was possible to get ARCore by Google working on my OnePlus 3, since it's not officially supported. I don't see why it shouldn't be, aside from some artificial restrictions made by Google to only support the 3T and not the 3.
They share the same main camera, as far as I know.
My device is rooted - is there any way to either get the latest ARCore working here? How does it determine what device I have - can I trick it into thinking I have the 3T?
Thank you for any ideas, I appreciate it
AR Core requires a dedicated AI processing chip.
