Samsung AKG Y50BT On-Ear Bluetooth Headphones - Google Pixel 3 XL Accessories

Is anyone using the Samsung AKG Y50BT with their Pixel 3 XL? I just ordered a pair for $49.99 USD and was wondering how they sound.
EDIT: I'm glad I bought these yesterday... back up to $180.00 USD today. I'll add a review when I get these sometime next week.

I received my headphones today and can say these work very well with the Pixel 3 XL. The sound quality is great as well as the noise canceling. I'm very impressed. They paired right up and have excellent range, I was able to get about 25 feet away from my phone from downstairs to upstairs before they started to lose connection. These are by far the best headphones I own. Well worth the money paid and then some.

Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headset?

Hey everyone, I was hoping to get some input from the community on this one as I have been searching all over trying to figure out what the best bluetooth headset with a small form factor is for noise cancellation and overall quality.
I don't want it to be gaudy, I like the subtle headsets that don't extend half way down your face. I work in a very loud environment (auto shop) so I need something that will drown out the ambient noise pretty well.
I don't want to go out and spend hundreds of dollars on different headsets trying to find one that works well. Hopefully some people here can enlighten me on what works and what doesn't based on experience.
TIA!
Why don't you try the new motorola S10-HD ($80 at best buy) , this is the upgrade of the S9-HD. it has only 1 noise cancelling microphone. Compared to the Nokia BH-905 which has 7 noise cancelling microphones, but it cost $249 at amazon.
I have the S9-HD , sonic quality is very good. I haven't tried yet the S10-HD even though it has only 1 noise cancelling mic, I think the sound will be a little bit better than the S9.
I personally use the Motorola H17. Not a fan of Motorola phones but they make excellent Bluetooth headsets. They sell for 100 bucks at your local Tmo store BUT you can always save some money with our good friend the internet.
Newegg sells them for 53 bucks brand new
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...268&cm_re=motorola_h17-_-75-982-268-_-Product
Or you can get it for only 25 bucks if you don't care about the fancy packaging
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...280&cm_re=motorola_h17-_-75-982-280-_-Product
I've used this while driving and windows slightly down and my gf was still able to hear me fine. Also, I never turn this over 60% volume because it is super loud as well. Would definitely recommend it.
try the Sound ID 400, i had it for a while, it's pretty good and you can get it for around $50
i have a blueant q1, noise canceling is good enough that my i could talk to my wife with the top off and doing 60.... couldnt find any others that would do that.

Some of the comment said it is easily break ( about the plastic thing over the ear?), and I can't figure out how the flip works
Is it really fragile?

I agree. Value wise, the Sound ID's are a great bang for your buck. I've had Motorola, Jabra, and BlueAnt that cost double, but were not much better quality.
For overall sound, the BlueAnt was best, but durability was bad. I left it in my car and the rubber over the earpiece pretty much disintegrated within 6 months.
Jawbone ICON! You will never use another.
Hi there, I just purchased the Blueant Q2 from ebay for $40.00 and it is the best bluetooth I have ever had. I am constantly driving for my job and while on the road, even with the window down doing 75 I can hear every word the other person is saying perfectly and they can hear me clearly with no other noises ever. SIMPLY THE BEST EVER!!!!
I would say the best option for your money is the official PS3 headset. It works with cellphones, and has a noise-canceling microphone. It also comes with a dock which if connected to your PC or PS3, will turn your headset into a desktop mic. Ive seen it as low as $25, but you may be able to find it for cheaper, especially since a new model was recently released.
I use the motorola rokr its a dual speaker headset with great sound and very weather resistant I'm outside everyday all day with it at work, charges in about 15 min and last about 8 hours

I read a lot of positive comments in xda or amazon review,
after getting one new from ebay,
I am totally disappointed.
The sound is so choppy and is even worse than the Samsung WEP490 which is only $10 bucks when I got my vibrant.
I followed the procedure and the sensor is physically touching my face,
I even tried putting it on both ears!
I dont know if it is only my device is defective but the first impression is so bad..

[REVIEW] Creative D80 Bluetooth Stereo Speaker

Hello guys,
I was looking around to find a good cheap bluetooth speaker when i came across this one. The creative d80. Its a well built stereo speaker with excellent sound and affortable price. It comes in several colours: black, blue, green and pink.
I chose the pink one because i wanted to give it to my girlfriend. As soon as i paired my galaxy s3 to the speaker (which is a half minute process), i was amazed by the sound quality and volume. I have demanding ears because i have rockford sound system in my car. Trust my words, this speaker is well worth the price tag. I got it for $130 including shipping with Dhl Express (2-4 business days).
Sound quality:
Highs: 4,5/5
Mids: 4,5/5
Bass: 4,5/5
In my opinion, its a well worth speaker and everyone should have one in their living room or bedroom or any room.
Pros:
Amazing sound quality
Good built quality
Cons:
Havent found any
If anyone is interested of where i got it here is a link http://www.elewarehouse.com/Creative-D80-Bluetooth-Wireless-Universal-Mini-Speaker-37122.htm
Have a nice day.

While I am at home, I use a pair of Audio Technica's ATH-M40fs. They sound great with the awesome beats mod. If you decide to get these, you will need a 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch adapter. It can be found at any Radioshack. Also the cable is very long since it is a pair of studio headphones so it isn't good to use while on the go.
Koss portapros are weird looking but cheap and have excellent sound (and quite a cult following)
I only listen to audiobooks and talk radio, so any old earbud for less than $25 IMO
I like my Sennheiser CX200 ear buds rather well.
Blocks out most sound, clean crisp sound and get nice and loud if I want them to.
Best of all, somewhere like the "egg" has 'em for $20 US.
Vsonic GR02 With Poweramp is best combination
Still best IEM for price tag, value for money
Soundmagic e10's, they sound great and are a great value at $35 on Amazon. I bought them as back ups as they were pretty cheap and the reviews were great. They have replaced my s4's and a pair of Sony iem's I paid about a 100 bucks for lol.

Bluetooth earphones

Hi,
Anyone can recommend a good bluetooth earphones?
For a long flight, I thought this can be handy for watching movies.
I am not looking for the best sound quality, but something small and flawless. No problem with pairing and connecting.
Thanks

Motorola s11's are great head phones. They'll link up easy with my nexus 7 and look good. You can find them on eBay a lot cheaper than stores like best buy. I paid $45 for them with shipping new.

I love the S11, though I wish the N7 use apt-x (like my Razr M). But even without, it's the best BT headset I have ever owned.
DO be careful with eBay purchases of them though. Motorola issued a redesign of them a few months ago because the initial bath has an issue where the main band will crack in the middle over time. The new sets have a new material that does not have the issue. You can check by looking under the USB cover for a stamped 'R' above the version number.
I have the Moto S10. Seem less bulky then the S11. Pairs without problem. I bought mine for like $10 on a sale site.

I have a pair of LG Tone HBS700 as well as a pair of moto S305's. Both work fine though i prefer the Tone better since i wear glasses and over the ear headsets put a bit of pressure on my ears. LG has an updated set called the Tone+ but as Coronado is dead mentioned the N7 doesn't use APT-X, and since I have read some complaints over a shorter range on the +'s compared to the regular Tone, the regular ones are a better deal and work well on the N7. They sit on your collarbone and have small earbuds coming out of them that magnetically stick back in to the headset when they're not in use.
SONY Headset Wireless Pro (now is a new model out) is also good. I use it with my Sony XPERIA S AND Nexus 7 at same time. It has multipoint connection, so you can wath videos on Nexus 7 and when a call is coming in, it switched automaticly to the phone. You can use this headset also as FM-Radio and mp3 player.
I have Motorola S10-HD, and absolutely LOVE it!! I bought mine a while back from 1 Sale a Day for $25 or $30(don't remember). Didn't even realize it could be used for phone calls when I bought it, I bought it simply for media. I've used it with my Note 2 for many phone calls, and no one knew I wasn't talking directly in to the phone until I told them. I have it paired with my Note 2, Evo LTE, Asus Infinity, and N7 FHD. I can switch between devices with ease, and battery life is great! I've never killed the battery before, just charge it once a week so it isn't ever dead when I want to use it! Definitely the BEST BlueTooth headset I've ever owned, and I've been buying a new one once a year for about 10 years!! I'm so pleased and impressed with the S10-HD that I've been looking at buying the Motorola S11 Flex HD now, and start using the S10-HD just while I'm cutting grass.

Nokia BH-905i
I have one of these for almost 2 years now and it looks like new... Good sound, good construction quality, it haves a purse, acessories to plug to a phone or mp3 (without bluetooth) and it haves active noise reduction. Works like a headset also...

Here is what the Motorola S10-HD looks like. The band goes around the back of your neck. If fit correctly, the band really doesn't even sit on your neck, it just kinda hovers/floats. I often just rest it around my neck when I'm not listening to it. It is super lightweight and I'll forget it's there a lot of times.

If you've enjoyed the S10-HD, I definitely recommend the S11 Flex HD. Just keep in mind that you won't want to go back to the S10, even for cutting grass... The S11 brings vast improvements in sound for music/media, is much better balanced (physically), and is great for calls like the S10 (I have owned both).
@gogol if you haven't done so already, be sure to check with the airlines you use to see if Bluetooth headsets are permitted in flight before you buy. Some airlines are happy to sell you WiFi access but won't let you get away with Bluetooth.

Cool, glad to know there's a vast improvement. I'm happy with the S10-HD, so anything better sounding will be awesome!
Lol, I'll still use the S10-HD when I'm cutting grass. I think I'll be able to deal with the inferior sounding of the the two for a couple of hours, just to be able to keep my S11 Flex HD clean an flawless!

The S11 doesn't seem to be a big enough of improvement to warrant $100 when my S10 work just fine. The S11 also seems like there are more areas to cause issues like cracking or tangles.
Good to know there are no issues though.

Which model of the S11?
I'm not sure, as I haven't looked at them too much, but I believe there is the S11, S11 HD, S11 Flex, and then also S11 Flex HD. Not sure on that, just what I was thinking. I know there were some issues with the band cracking on one of the models, but I believe that Motorola released a revised version. Maybe the Flex HD is the revised version/model that resolves the cracking issue? I'm intrigued now, guess it's time for me to start searching an reading.

There are only 2 models readily: the S11 and the S11 Flex HD. Only differences are the degrees of adjustability and color if I recall correctly.

LG Tone+
I've owned both the Motorola S10 and S11 headphones. The first pair I had bought was about 2 years ago and I loved them but dropped them in the toilet. Then I bought the S11 model which was just a good but eventually the power button stopped working on them. I ended up breaking them trying to fix the button myself. The power button was somewhat of a common issue and there was a DIY fix online that I tried. Just recently though I went with the LG Tone+ headset, and these I absolutely love! The Motorola ones never sat well in my ears and weren't that loud. The LG ones are great because they're like regular ear buds, you can really get them inside of your ear. If you're going on a flight I would highly recommend the LG. They will provide much better noise cancellation. The only con with the LG pair is the wire for the ear buds. They could easily be ripped off if you're not careful.
I'm super happy with my Plantronics Backbeat Go 2.
I'm using the LG Electronics Tone+ HBS-730 Bluetooth Headset. Works great with my Mac, iPhone, and Nexus7.

+1 for LG Tone+
I use the LG Tone+ as well and I absolutely love it. I had a Sony HBS older model and I absolutely hated them for having no depth in the audio. Some songs sounded horrid. LG Tone+ are a breath of fresh air. They are in-ear earphones and fit nicely in the ear canal. Instead of keeping them around my neck, I rest them under my Shirt's collar. I can't even feel them. I have them paired to my Nexus 7, my Galaxy S3 and my work phone.
Tone+ also have inbuilt presets (which can be activated by pressing the volume up down buttons simultaneously). I use these quite a lot too. Some people prefer to keep the default preset active and use the equalizers on the phone.
I love the Tone+ and would highly recommend it.

Recommendation for Earbuds/pods

So I have a one-year-old puppy and she destroyed my jaybirds, then my brother gifted me a pair of Jabra Elite ear pod things. She got ahold of the left one . I have a watch now that keeps track of my heart rate and pace and all of those things, so I don't necessarily need she pay for that in a pair. What I need is a pair that will stay in my ear sound good, sound good, and be water proofed decently.
I totally against going back to Jay birds, my experience with them was really nice, the Jabra has didn't have the best quality but the features were cool, heartbeat sensor, GPS, hear through technology, but not necessary I guess.

I have had the Galaxy Buds since they released and are still my favorite pair ive owned next to the Airpods. They fit really well and I forget they are there after about 5-10 minutes. Also sound amazingly better than any other wireless earbuds ive used recently.
I have these, not bad for the price, not sure about the water resistance.

I bought those for my daughter and they sound better than my Galaxy Buds.
I recommend the 1more stylish wireless earbuds. I have the 1more triple drivers and loved how they sounded. Unfortunately, they were wired earbuds and using them attached to a dongle connected to the OP7 pro was quite cumbersome. The 1more wireless earbuds sound great, fit great, great battery and stay in your ear. I also saw that there was a promotion on their website for 25% off the buds bringing them down to $76 shipped. Kinda was a no brainier for me at that price point. Check out some of the reviews on YouTube, but I wouldn't hesitate too long as I'm not sure when that 25% off deal expires.
Rocking these: True-Wireless Headphones, ZOLO Liberty [Upgraded] 8-Hour Playtime (100 Hours with Charging Case), Bluetooth 5 Bluetooth Earbuds with Graphene Driver Technology, IPX5 Sweatproof, Handsfree Stereo Calls https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GKHYVM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ql-bDb3ZJDFS5
Charged them once when I first bought them a month ago and still haven't charged them. They work fantastic and sound great. They also work with Google Assistant. Very, very happy.
Right now these are the best for smartphones with Qualcomm 855 & 845 soc and an excellent battery and price.

Yes, those are highly rated! Cheers
