Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on Ground Zero Open Source Project (GZOSP) and brings custom features with the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of "Making you feel like 家".
Using the stability and compatibility of GZOSP, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpaper (Dawn by fxckingdeathwish), ringtones, and fonts, to bring to your device into a more fresh look, also with a selection of apps, header packs and wallpapers (on ShishuWalls app).

Q: Bootleggers? Why? What does that even mean?
A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.
Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.
Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.

Flash like other roms

Glad so see some familiar faces from kenzo. Is ghost touch fixed in this rom?

I wanted to ask that is the in call volume, signal,charging ,auto rotate and the battery SOT bugs are removed or not coz they are all the same in all roms ??

Bootleggers Rom experience
Hello to everyone,
I installed this rom on my Samsung S7 (herolte)
The rom is fast and very pleasant. Thanks to the dev. team.
But i want to warn you about Samsung Smart Switch is not working after rom installation, smart switch on PC says unsupported device so before flashing backup everything to Google Drive.

Has the same bugs as the latest lineage

Hi, i have a problem when answering phone calls, the caller can't hear me for about 10 seconds, and of course I can't hear him for the same amount of time. Is there any way I can fix this? Thanks

You can use quickshortcutmaker and start activity "org.omnirom.device.DeviceSettings". This should do the trick.
Unfortunately i still have to figure out how to implement the xiaomiparts into the bootleggers settings app as it seem nore complicate and modifed than aosp

Gesture control is difficult to operate, especially on the back. Will it be OTA? Update check? Thanks for the job, anyway super, fast.

Unfortunately no OTAs as im not going to support it officially. Altough i can try to out my own server once otas are supported by the rom. Also for gestures, you gotta ask the rom devs as i only build the rom for chiron

Which recovery should I use to flash this ROM..

For me the SoT it's awesome, did 7h of it. Also idk about this connectivity problem, could be related to the broken hotspot

hotspot doesnt work apparently because of a broken thing on the device source, and maybe its linked to hotspot as this repo manages a lot of connections related things

I think this ROM is perfect. After a week i have to mention only good stuffs and what is bad is what this ROM misses. For example answer with volume buttons, this help me when i wear gloves ( hey developer or OP, how can I obtain this, please ? ).
Only bug i notice is difficult to answer to second call during conversation but this happens till i'm migrate from MIUI, with a lot of AOSP's ROMs, if i'm not wrong...

I think its not Lawnchair but a modified Launcher 3 by Bootleggers team; i.e. blue color at Google bar cannot be changed (which is a bummer btw)

Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.
With an almost stable source, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpapers (avaliable on ShishuWalls), ringtones, fonts, and themes to bring to your device into a more fresh look and give you always a good experience.

Its working well for me so far. Only issue I've found is I can't get the smart charge to work, charges past my cutoff point. Thanks OP.

Edit: it's not sorry about that I'll figure out why it's not setting right resoultion

This is a very nice ROM. Working well so far except for Settings Suggestions crashing every time I open settings.

Uninstall Google Settings Suggestions from the playstore or system, this is known across the board

So i am rooted and have been on the bootlegers 4.1 from may of 2019. Havnt updated anything in a year. Phone has been working good and have been to busy to mess with. Now i want to update to android 10 rom. Can anyone point me to instructions on how to update when that far behind? Will i need to use a pc to update? Thanks
