Video call via volte?

Is there any rom in which video call via volte is working except stock rom?

Yeah, same qsn. I also wants to know which custom rom support video cl through jio sim?

is there any chance to get fixed video calling feature through VOLTE in custom roms??? Because in stock rom its working perfectly.

This feature is there in most of the custom ROMs. I am currently on AEX 4.6 and have this feature. I use Google dialer and contacts.

Call recording on custom ROMs?

Is there any way to record calls (natively from the dialer app like Xiaomi's one on MIUI)? All recording apps from play store aren't working and only record the audio from my mic, not the incoming caller audio. It's frustrating.

LineageOS dialer has inbuilt call recording. I have used that in LOS 14.1 but dont know about LOS15 and LOS16.. i think they have ported call recording to LOS15.1 check appropriate thread for confirmation

How can I install that dialer on any custom ROM I want? Will it even work on other ROMs?

Check this, I haven't tried this on any of the custom ROM but I have used LineageOS.

WhatsApp video call laggy on almost all pie custom rom

Hi,
I tried almost all pie custom rom and faced this issue. in OOS oreo & H2OS pie doesn't have this issue.
Is there only me who faced video call on whatsapp very laggy in custom rom?

Any fix yet? I tried several roms but the same...

Found the issue, as people want gcam and overall it is better than stock oos, gcam requires camera2api (HAL3) to use some of the features, i couldnt disable camera2api with persist build.prop command. So this means any custom pie rom that is forcing hal3 will have issue with whatsapp. Idk if whatsapp will add support or fix the issue for hal3. I use whatsapp video calls everyday due to friends(can force them to use discord or something similar) and relatives. So this means that im going back to stock oos ob24 from ResurrectionRemix v7 sadly...
Also found some articles on other forums such as xiaomi, people saying thats hal3 gives them kind of same problems.
So if anyone reads this, till whatsapp fixes the issue for hal3, video calls will stutter. Best solution is using a non camera2api rom or oos.
