Block on the Teamwin screen

Hello
I try today to root my honor 7x
It is unlocking and I flash twrp_ramdisk_oreo_19-4-18.img with fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk
Now it's blocking on the teamwin screen
If anyone could help me

Don't is that version.
It is mentioned a few times in the thread that that file came from not to use it. Please read some of the posts before flashing random files from the internet.

this is just recovery . is not root.
Did recovery work?
then flash magisk (i used v16), with the twrp.

Root w/ Magisk: almost successful. Any Help?

Hi,
I have recently bought this phone and I need root to restore my Titanium Backup .
I am following https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/install.html @ "Samsung (System-as-root)" section.
I successfully unlocked bootloader and done the first part of instructions: I created magisk_patched.tar and flashed it.
Unfortunately I always get a bootloop and never reach the Samsung logo, except made for two times when it booted correctly but Magisk was not recognized as installed.
I tried:
-Patching AP file both retaining and not retaining encryption
-Flashing it with all other files and HOME_CSC or CSC
-Skipping and not skipping step 9 Full data wipe ) and this lead me to the two successful bootups.
-pressing recovery combination (volup + power), only before the system-non-official warning, and also a small period after to boot into magisk
But still no boot with Magisk and subsequent boots after one success lead to bootloop again. (without reaching samsung logo).
Anyone does have advice? ideas?

I haven't tried it but many others have rooted it. You can even ask their if you face any problem. The developer helps a lot.

You can follow this official guide - https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/install.html#samsung-system-as-root
File you can join the group and get it, its not shareable.

You need to join the group and get the boot.img file, as @ammarwajihi said.
To root the device, follow the official guide linked by @ammarwajihi, but instead of performing steps 1-8, just flash the boot.img provided in the group. You need to be on firmware stated on group, but for me worked latest firmware downloaded with Frija.
You don't need to boot into recovery to have magisk, just boot normally. Data wipe is required.
Let us know if everything worked.

Thanks. I won't try it I'll stay unrooted for a while. I just want to know how when I'll need it.

Yes, unlocking the bootloader will always trip knox.

I was messing around with my system and tought I delete everything in TWRP. :crying:
I am still able to go in TWRP and Fastboot.
I messed with the partition formats too.
What can I do then?
Android 10(Lineageos17) wont boot, I always get to the fastboot.

you can flash stock rom with any fastboot tutorial of you device, but take care because i think it can brick if you flash any wrong rom

yes, or you can easly flash stock rom without unzip & console commands. with Xiaomi miflash tool.
search it in google/youtube

If you can enter to TWRP, then you have more than a half battle won. Download from here https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/miui/alioth/ the right firmware according your region and model, the recovery type, transfer it to an SD Card, and fash it through TWRP, after of that, just format data, so the system can boot.

You can, but you seems to feel like your family may me angry if their are issues. I would suggest going stock before installing Roms. Is their a compatible Crdroid?

How did you root your phone? Rooting the phone is as simple as flashing patched init_boot.img via fastboot flash init_boot. A lot of users here brick their phones because they patched and flashed the boot.img instead of the init_boot.img.

If you can enter fastboot you can still fix..flash your original boot.img from fastboot.
fastboot flash boot boot.img

He used miflash, QFIL (with various different parameters than normal use), QFL, and fastboot. Finally he recreated two super partitions for my phone and flash odm, system, and vendor images into the supper partitions. After 4 hr of trying, my phone boots however I still have the red warning "Your phone is corrupt".

Put the rom in the root directory or on external SD card through the C connector. Use local update and choose the rom.
