I have nexus 5X stuck on bootloop and I can't unlock bootloader because oem was locked before I face this issue any help to recover my phone
Some tried freezing the phone. Some tried letting the phone use up all the battery and plug in power. Some tried heating the phone up. Keep trying.

Hi guys, i have a problem with my gnex D:. what has happened is i have downloaded the gnex root toolkit and tried to unlock my phone, then my gnex turned off while the program said it was restarting the phone into bootloader and then poof my phone has a black screen and nothing happens. then after this my phone is now in a state where if i turn it on it will vibrate and show the google logo like normal but after that it has a black screen and well.... nothing and the only way to turn the phone back on is to pull out the battery make sure the charger isn't plugged in and then put the battery back in the phone and either boot up the phone so it'll do the soft brick thing with the google screen or boot into bootloader where to my knowledge nothing can be done to fix the problem. someone please help cause i just got it back from waiting 3 weeks for repairs then coming home and capoot it's dead :'(
EDIT: Sorry forgot to mention it is a samsung galaxy nexus running jellybean 4.3 JWR66Y GSM
EDIT 2: problem resolved, turns out it was just a simple corrupted boot.img file
Hi my nexus 5x has started bootlooping on the google screen for no apparent reason. I have not rooted the device and it's bootloader is locked. I'm able to fastboot but selecting recovery mode returns me to the loop. I've tried using wugs nexus toolkit to flash stock but the it just returns me to the loop as the boot loader is locked. Is there any way to unlock the bootloader or return to factory settings/get out of the loop?

I think you probably have failing EMMC. Sometimes if you keep playing with it or let the battery drain, it eventually boots once or twice before going bad again. If this happens you should immediately go into developer options and enable OEM unlocking.
If for some reason you can reinstall factory images and that works great. If not you probably need to try the LGUP method with the TOT file. Search and you'll find it.
If that fails, you probably need to get a new phone.

I have a nexus 5x for 1 year and a half, root with the bootloader unlocked.
But this afternoon, I used it normal, and it freeze and it is set to restart. Except that it starts constantly on the google logo, sometimes more but that's all. And after 5, 6 times it power off.
Sometimes it gets stuck on the google logo indefinitely
It is also very slow to pass the warning that my bootloader is unlocked
I specify that I have access to the bootloader and it reboot when I try to decrypt my data in recovery (twrp)
I tried the tutorial here https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/general/tool-unblod-fix-nexus-5x-thats-bootloop-t3718388, but it's even worse since I does not even exceed the Google logo.
Any idea ?
I specify that I am under the stock rom (8.1 december)

You probably have a hardware issue but have you tried flashing the factory image with fastboot?

I can't go into recovery mode and my nexus is not showing in LGUP.
What should I do?
Mine did this and now fails to power up, just spontaneously bricked itself and I haven't used custom ROMs on it or unlocked the bootloader either.

the phone is auto brick he did that to me
just throw it and never wast your money to repair it this phone is like this
the phone has a limited life time no matter what
Hi guys. I flashed a recovery on my op9rt which was intended for boot only. this led to the bootloop. i tried locking bootloader after which phone shut down and restarts and shuts down restarts so on...
I can't access anything not even bootloader. Any help?
And can online service people who use MSM tool help me out?
