[Answer] Global MIUI release date.

Hello,
I have read the question repetifly and will answer it.
Q: release date of the global MIUI ROM for the Mi 5s or Mi 5s Plus?
A: Never.
This device is a China only device. It will not update the existing Mi5 on the "global" market, that means wherever Xiaomi sells phones outside of China.

Before we start to have a Global ROM is needs:
Global ROM is released only if the device is officially sold outside of China in countries like India, Malaysia, Singapore etc... without any hardware changes.

You can always hope that the device gets launched in Malaysia or Singapore, yet this is very unlikely if Xiaomi doesn't plan to launch it in India first. People in these country already have the Mi5, a more expensive version of the Mi5 may not be sell good.

Also, Mi 5s has more aggressive pricing that Mi 5. I cannot get the 128GB Mi 5 with the same money I spend on my Mi 5s.
But, yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath when or if xiaomi will launch this globally.

How to tell difference between global and chinese redmi

Hello, I have a warranty issue with one seller so I need to know what is the difference between global and chinese version of redmi 1s?
Global version should have snapdragon processor? Are there other information written on the back on the phone? (everything there is in chinese)

I'm not really sure about this difference.
I'm using the Global version. Most probably, both, the Chinese and Global variants have Qualcomm SD processor.
It'd be good if you'd attach some pics of your phone back and I can compare them with mine. (I recommend you should hide the IMEI number or any other unique number by blurring or doodling to protect privacy and prevent misuse)
P.S. What warranty issue are you talking about? This phone has been discontinued long back. Shouldn't it be out of warranty already?

Was there even a separate and different global vs china version for the Redmi 1s? Just check the label on the box for the 2g/3g bands. It should match the gsmarena specs for the global version.
There is a 4g China only version that uses Mediatek instead of the Snapdragon on the 3G version.

All Things about Huawei Mate 20 X and where to buy?

So Huawei announced the Huawei Mate 20 X, but in what countries is it going to be released? They are not very clear about that. Seeing the video's it appears to be a global release because all Google apps are already installed.

Yeah Liaow has it, but they ask $1149 for it and it's the Chinese model. If i'm going to buy it, i want the Global model.

Depending on where you can buy from in the UK, you could probably buy from there. If that fails definitely contact WondaMobile, as i'm sure he can get from you, when its out.

pdaplaza.ca (a Canadian company) has the 6/128 Global variant and 8/256 China variant for sale with shipping the first week of November. Can someone confirm there will be a Global version of the 8/256 model? With the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 the 8/256 was China only, while they also offer a Global version of their 6/128 model. Does Huawei follow a similar sales strategy of reserving their high end model for the Chinese mainland market?

Tweeted Huawei UK and they have said no release in UK (as of yet!!). Prices is listed in Euros so there is a Euro / Global version being released but have no idea in what regions. I also asked this but no reply yet.
Once again the UK is getting screwed ! Off to the black market to pay inflated prices and import tax (again ...) !!

Huawei is so lazy, they announce the phone in London with euro price but doesn't list the release countries. Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro pre-orders are everywhere. I also asked many Huawei countries on Twitter, but no single response.

At the moment the Mate 20X is not available in Europe, we do not have official information regarding an ETA for the release, furthermore we cannot confirm with certainty that this model will even be released for the European market.

What phone to buy for EU

Hi guys, i want to buy an Note 8 but here in Europe are some weird thigs going with the models! There is Xiaomi Note 8T (with NFC) witch Xiaomi says that is meant to be for Europe but there is also Note 8 without T but with the box with European countries ( the Asian version has an Blue box, the one that im talking about looks almost the same with Note8T and has all the European countries where it should work ) i dont like 8T because, yes, there are some difference, first i dont need NFC but secound, 8T is larger, heavier and uglier, it has a bigger chin so i dont really like it, also on Mi.eu Rom there is ginkgo supported, i dont know who is ginkgo and who is Willow! Can you help me guys? I can provide photos with the box if its helps you, thanks!

ginkgo is rn8 as long as its global and says it in the box you are ok. willow is rn8t i think only difference is NFC.

Exactly... RN 8 has notifiaction LED, RN 8T not... and this and NFC are differences

I know guys what are the differences but i asked if 8T and 8 with the white box are meant to be used in EU bcs Xiaomi says only about 8T that is for europe!

RN 8 is available as Global version with MI version of ROM... so you can use it worldwide where is available... MI and EU versions od ROM can be used everywhere outside Asia
RN 8 is available with MI Global ROM
RN 8T is available with MI and EU Global ROM
For example in Croatia are available both RN 8 and 8T, but I bought 8T because of NFC

I cannot find this version of the phone for sale ANYWHERE. What gives? I live in Bangkok. Lots of Redmi Note 9 Pro available here, but no Pro Max.

You completely missed my point, which is that I cannot find it listed for sale ANYWHERE, as in worldwide.
I see reviews of it, talk about "flash sales" (whatever those are), but no where can I find a listing of the phone with a BUY button available. Even AliExpress and Lazada have no listings.

No. They decided to change it. They realized how too bang for a buck the phone was. It had an 8GB RAM Variant and front cam of 32MP on top of it's 64+8+5+2 rear camera, 5020mah, 30W Rapid Charging. It was overlapping their new Mi Lite series. "The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max" is an exclusive in India but rebranded and nerfed in the Global Market as the "Redmi Note 9 Pro". Sporting the same specs but removed the 8GB Variant and reduced all front cams of all variants to 16MP. Also the "Redmi Note 9 Pro" in India which has a 48MP Rear Quad Camera is rebranded as the "Redmi Note 9S" in the Global Market with the exact same specs.

we have 6/64Gb and 8/128gb version here in indonesia but branded as redmi note 9 pro,, came with 64mp and 30watt ,,

The Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global edition or otherwise) does NOT have the same specs as the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.

I have the note 9 pro, 6 gig 128 gigabits, 32 pix front and 64 pix back. Is this the same as the max?

It has VERY similar specs it’s literally just the front camera or the ram(ish)
