Hello my friends.I am new to the forum.I would like to ask a question.I wanted to update the android of my woman’ s smartphone and i messed all things up.I managed after hours to unlock the phone’s bootloader and istalled TWRP and i flashed the rom of android 8.0.Then i did a big mistake and wiped everything in the phone. The result is that i open the phone and all i see is the white introduction screen with the logo of HTC.Is there any way that i can fix things or i damaged the phone for good?

Im sorry if I sound like a noob but I have searched and found no answers to restore my lg nitro. I tried to flash cm9 to my phone and it got stuck in an endless bootloop. I have always had iPhones so I had no idea that android Phones would have no way of restoring after a bad flash/jailbreak. I want to know how to fix this problem or to completey brick this phone so I can send it into lg and get a fix under warranty. Please help I'm sorry I'm a new iPhone convert and I find it worrisome that android has noway to restore like the iPhone. Again I'm sorry if I sound like a noob but this is my first android phone and I've had the iPhone since day one in 2007 and have always been able to restore but I'm completely lost with this bootloop problem. I would rather just know how to completely brick it so I can get it fixed and not mess with it again.
did you make aback up of your current rom ... befor you installed CM9 .. im also guessing you installed it threw rom manamger .. if so you can hold the Vol down key and power button when you turn it on when the reset screen comes up press the power button twice to enter CWM . from their you can either reflash CM9 or your back up of your orginal if you made one or i can help you flash the files you need to get back to stock att rom
Hi, i didn't know where to post so i just posted this here since i saw other huawei posts in here. (Moderators pls move if misplaced).
I've got a big problem!
I have got a Rooted Huawei Y300 and i've unofficially unlocked the bootloader with DC-Unlocker successfully, and have CWM Recovery installed!
Now here's the deal, i've downloaded Cyanogenmod 11 (4.4) but after i tried to install it, it stopped halfway with "set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed E:Error in /sdcard/name_of_rom_here" (Status 7).
I tried other CM's getting the same error.
Than i tried to reflash to original firmware (V100R001C00B175) from the huawei website, but since i bricked my phone i cannot move the "dload" folder to internal storage so i tried to place it on my sd-card and booting up using Vol- & Power, the upgrade stops at step 2/2 saying it failed.
I'm very sorry not having a backup of the original firmware before i tried CM out (a very stupid and hasty move).
Does anyone have a solution? The phone is just a week old and i've never bricked a phone before (all my old handsets from samsung's to sony's / htc's) and never failed installing a rom or anything related.
Frankly i never suspected CM to fail flashing since everybody else is succesfull ;-/
kind regards,
Ok here's a update. I managed to install AOKP (4.3.1) so i atleast revived my phone. I'm guessing it was something with CM11.
Anyway moderators you can delete this thread, since i found the solution myself..
Thanks

When i was at home i wanted a costum rom since it was running on 4.1.2 and installing a costum rom was a completely mistake i guess...
So decided to back to a stock frimware which i download from Huawei offical site and put on my SD card dload>update.app after going into recovery mode he loads all the files until system after my phone closes his self and most of time he doesnt go out of boot on the huawei logo for what i waited was 30min 2-3times...
What do i wrong..i've used samsung and that was much easier
Please help me someone whit this problem and i hope i could explain it good
I made an account just to ask this question because I’m honestly at a loss lol I’ve been reduced to using my girlfriends old iPhone and I miss my G4 ?
Anyways I recently had installed TWRP on my G4 along with the most recent version of Lineage OS on my phone. Not too long after that a new build came out so I updated my phone but I lost root access after that. I tried to root it again by flashing Supersu using TWRP but I guess I messed up a step along the way because afterwards my phone hasn’t been booting properly. It stays stuck at the animation screen after the LG logo appears.
I’ve tried to access recovery mode using the buttons on the phone but it doesn’t work. The only thing I can do is enter download mode but even then when I plug in my phone to my computer it doesn’t recognize my phone.
I feel like I’ve searched everywhere for answers but I’m clueless right now lol I would really appreciate any advice or help! I wanna get back to using my Android this iPhone isn’t the same ? I can provide any other information as needed.

Could you help me and thanks
ps : I have recently opened bootloader
Ye have erased the /system partition, as long as your /recovery is properly intact and fast-boot works, you can install android lollipop, and to save you the stress, CyanogenMod 12.1 is the most stable Android Lollipop ROM for this Device, AFAIK.
