are you already unlocked your bootloader?

I'm having loads of issues with Pie. Wifi and mobile data.

Anybody know how to roll back?

I hear ya man. Android Pie on Nokia 6.1 feels like a beta test. How the hell did they think this update was stable is beyond me.

What???
I have no issue, did you tried to make a factory reset after update?

Yeah I did a factory reset from the settings menu. Usually I do it from the boot loader screen, but I read that you no longer have to do this since there are separate A/B partitions now. When the January Security patch comes out I'll try clearing the davik cache and do a factory reset in the boot loader.

Why going back to Oreo since Pie is delicious? Oreo has system UI freeze problem hasn't it?

Any Reason to NOT Upgrade to EMUI 5.0?

Just got my Honor 6x last week. I haven't unlocked the bootloader or rooted the phone yet, and honestly, I'm not sure I'm going to bother doing so this time around. I also haven't installed the update to EMUI 5.0 yet. If in the future I do decide to unlock the bootloader, or root the phone, is there any reason I shouldn't install the EMUI 5.0 update now, or is it safe to do so?

It is absolutely safe and works fine unless there is any bug for your specific model.
There is neither one reason to remain on EMUI 4. Everything is better on Nougat, you'll see
emui 5 lags on prolonged usage ....this is said to be fixe in b370
EMUI 5.0 is good but for battery backup Stay back

December Security Patch available

Finally the December Security Patch is here.
First on EU version this time or both EU and GLOBAL?
Now to wait until 31st December or mid January for next update, hope this time we get Android 10.
- white noise on low media volumes is still not fixed
- fingerprint sensor seems more accurate with night light/screen protector
- wifi dropping issues have been fixed
i hope we'll get android 10 update till 31st December.

Both
I can confirm no bugs I reported were fixed. However I have noticed, screen no longer increases brightness slightly when picking up the phone.

Does anyone with TWRP installed have any problem installing this December update? I have TWRP and when I try to update it always says installation problem.
Is there anything I should be doing?

I don't think you can install stock update by twrp.
I think only with stock recovery can do.

It's normal, you can't update with a TWRP installed, the solution Is simple, reinstall the stock ROM (from fastboot) and you're good to go.
Patch arrived in France too.
Greece too. No noticeable difference to Nov update.

You could just flash the stock boot.img in twrp for your specific firmware version and thats it, update no problem
Am I the only one who's not able to hear audio calls/use microphone in call after the update?
Edit: nope, it's my cellular network provider that sucks. No worries.

I was on beta at one point but in order to get OTA updates you can not be on beta. Use smart switch on your PC to downgrade to the latest official and then take the OTA update to Android 10

I installed the update through Odin. I was on the beta. No data loss. Everything works fine.
