Antirollback - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Questions & Answers

After installing custom rom, if i want to flash stock latest miui using fastboot mode(using pc) is there any problem doing this or is there any precaution before flashing?
Please reply ASAP

no problem as long as you install latest fastboot rom thats ARB4
i dont know your ARB
if you were in ARB3 itll be on ARB4 problem is flashing ARB4 to ARB3
if you use miui 10.0.4 thats ARB4.

@raptorddd i have tried this command "fastboot getvar anti" and it says

Back to stock with Nandroid

Hi,getting back to stock is not really my department. So just to make sure
1. Install nandroid backup of stock rom - done
2. That means that since my boot.img is stock as well as the rom itself is stock, that i only need recovery?
3. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img - i'm on 1.29.169.13 rom, can i use any 1.29 IMG? http://www.androidrevolution.nl/ARHD/index.php?dir=OneX/Recovery/ ?
4. I have to relock my phone, right?
fastboot oem lock
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot erase cache
no need of any ruu, reboot, install OTA, done?
note that there is no RUU available for my phone except for the 1.26.169.13, which is 2 updates older than mine.
You will need to install the boot.img from your backup using fastboot.

Can't access to fastboot bootloader and recovery / HARD BRICK?

I was triying to downgrade from Oreo 3.16.401.2 EU variant. I was S-on and reading threads I saw that it was possible to downgrade. After following the steps I was having problems to flash the Nougat RUU. So I try with MM (Correct versions for my device) I try flash hosd image from a MM Firmware to then flash the RUU and then never could return to fastboot, download and recovery mode. What can I do? My phone boots normally (with red letters) when tried to access fastboot and it still have oreo andworks fine. Its rooted and have TWRP installed. Any solution? adb reboot recovery, fastboot, etc dont work. Flashing backups with the TWRP app should work? Im so disappointed

Please Help Me!

I want to relock my bootloader!.... Someone said me, if i try to relock my bootloader by mi flash tool, my phone will be brick!
Help me please

Question Oneplus 9rt fastboot and recovery not working Oxygen os13 stable

Few days back i successfully rooted my 9rt then today i unroot my 9rt and download the oxygen os 13 stable via op updater app and installed it but every time i reboot my phone it show a msg your bootloader is unlocked, device is in orange state can't be trusted reboot in 5 seconds then os boot normally but i can't access the recovery and fastboot mode to relock the bootloader plz help.
Looks like fastboot is locked in version you currently use (is it F.11?). You can't lock bootloader before next version with unlocked fastboot will be installed. The only other option is to downgrade to Android 12, then relock and upgrade again, but you will need to wipe data.

Looks like no as of now. Probably next version will be unlocked
Update-after enable usb debugging and using "adb reboot fastboot" command i can boot into recovery mode where wipe data, reboot ar showing and my pc showing fastboot devices in cmd should i use fastboot command to relock the bootloader or wait for the unlocked fastboot stock rom.. thanks
It is fastbootd mode. Unlock/relock commands don't work in this mode, but you may use it to flash previous version of rom (fastboot rom) with unlocked bootloader.
Another option is to use this official ROM for local update. Please note it will wipe data, backup is needed.
