Hi guys,
I am not really a fan of Chinese smartphones but certain ones like the Huawei Ascend P6, Oppo Find 5 and Meizu MX2 has some EXTREMELY cool firmwares in them... By that, I'm talking abt the ui and launchers they use.. But of all
the 3 here, I love the Meizu MX2 design... And I thought of Porting here... Anybody think it's possible? (I may not be able to guarantee that I'd do that due to work sadly...)
Is there a hardware reason why there aren't more recent android builds for them?
What newer features make it worth the effort to develop on newer versions? Battery life? - really? "Material design?" - meh. Multiple SIM card support? - huh? Fingerprint reader support? Android pay?
Maybe just a bigger number is better?

I agree with you.
Lollipop 5.0 is quite buggy, only 5.1.1 works decently, but it will give no practical benefits to a 1GB device.
And about Marshmallow 6.0, it has not yet been released even for many 2015 smartphone models, and its true advantages on a battery-less device would be questionable... and to enjoy the material design also the native launcher and apps will have to be redesigned.
Rockchip hasn't and probably wont release the SDK for Lollipop or above for RK3188 and RK3066 devices.
Good morning everyone.
Could anybody make theme for miui 9 which looks like huawei mate 10 porsche design theme?
I was using it on my beloved honor phone before I crashed it and really miss it.
Liked black but still clean design of it.
Also samsung black icons theme would be nice. Thanks in advance.
This is a good OS with a very different UI. Fun to use.
I used it in Redmi 4x previously. Bad sadly, for A2 lite, no one ported it yet. Just in case if you don't know, this OS can run android apps thought it is completely a different operating system.
As far as I know, porting this rom is same as porting an android OS... So if anyone can, please give a try... We will be thankful!

That would be cool if someone could port it for this device I agree. But SFOS only runs android apps on official devices such as Jolla C or a couple of Sony phone , xperia x or xperia xa2. I own the xperia x running SFOS 3 and it really is a great is. Great alternative if some is trying to get away from google.
Hey I was wondering if I could get a customized oxygen OS 11 specifically because it is very reliable and also for its peformance . It just needs some tweaks like mobile network coverage is not that great considering flagship specs and things such as refined floating windows and pip.

Why don't you build it your self?
