200 gb SanDisk Card $99

Has anyone tried a 200gb in the Zenfone 2 yet? Amazon has them for $99 today.

Dan
since its sdxc it should work.
If Amazon only has them for today or a limited time, Newegg seems to have them for 99 as well. Though the speed class might make writes a bit wimpy.. Perhaps the 200GB could hopefully be an underprovisioned 256?
No guarantee from Asus however.
I remember when I had to spend $75+ for a 32GB for my Nook Color
They'll work... AS long as SDXC compliant...
thats cheap
I have a sansdisk 128GB micro sd card and it works fine so you're good
If someone does get the card, and tests it with marshmallows adaptable memory, let us know how it works out!
Wow I really need this
They had the 128gb PNC cards for $30 a few days ago. I grabbed one and it works great as well .

I once had problem with sandisk too, it gets randomly dismounted then mounted again and that's not from restarting. It also happened to my wife's zenfone 2 550 and zenfone laser until she finally decided to replace it with samsung like what i did.
Idk whether this problem exist in every zenfone 2 and other zenfone released after, but grats if some of you didn't experience the problem, but if i were you i won't risk it by buying cheap sandisk. There once an update (i forgot, between 150ish-168 on 551) that address sdcard issue, but I haven't tried putting in sandisk again after it.
Any one ever tried the 200GB card ?
@Ashtrix ... in my ZE551ML the SDSDQUAN-200G-G4A works for more than 3 months with no problems

Is not only 3GB of ram, its 32GB of internal storage. and It does worth it, for multitasking.
Go for d855 you feel like you are free, get lots of support rather than d852

Im about to get an LG G4 Beat and i got some questions

Hi, im getting a G4 Beat soon and i wanted to ask some questions.
Whats the easiest method to root this phone?
This one? http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/lg-g4-100-root-success-directives-root-t3180586
Or this one? http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/lg-g4s-world-root-lg-devices-t3231759
Or maybe is there anything new?
And what sd card should i get? The cheapest one or should i go for an sdxc? Edit: nvm. Already bought a kingston 64gb sdxc.
And a last dumb question, will a 3000mah G4 battery work on the G4 beat?
Thanks in advance!
Root second post worked for me.
Sd i would recommend sdxc as the internal memory its way to tiny, 3.2 or something like that, you can use link2sd with a second partition (ext4) and your life would be awesome...
I have tons of apps (second partition) with ext4 4kb block size and works really really ALMOST (not the same) like internal as fast
And battery my guess its that yes the question is stupid[emoji14] i asume that the dimentions are different on both phones.
With greenify and without social pain in the ass (facebook and so) i got almost 3/4 hs screen time and +20 standby so...

Mi Max kills SIM cards

I'm afraid that my Hydrogen is killing SIM cards of the german provider "Netzclub" (O2). Two cards died already after about two months of use. It started with frequent loss of signal, then permanantly no signal and in the end the SIM was not even detected anymore.
On the phone I am running latest Lineage OS.
It sounds pretty much like the problems with Oneplus devices and Fairphone2 killing SIM cards due to a bug with processing the MEC-request (mobile equioment change) that leads to a loop of continous read/write actions to the card.
Anybody having similar issues?
i have the same problem with my kenzo/lineage bzw.
kenzo/mokee.
my sim card is from t-mobile.
i think it's a problem with lineage.

Get me radio log when phone talks to one of those affected sim cards and I'll see what can be done to fix it.... If it is a firmware problem then it's up to Xiaomi. And probably is b/c affected devices runs all kinds of different android flavors. It is not Lineage problem, might be AOSP problem but I doubt it...

Check your PM
I have had my max for a couple of months with no issues running both sim slots is this just affecting rooted users?
No issues with mine, been using this phone for more than six months and the SIM card is fine. It's a micro-SIM, not a nano unit.
On the other hand, my Sandisk 128 GB card failed completely after a few days of slow writes. I don't know if it's a bad batch or if the phone got too hot, too often - I've seen battery temps around 45 C and CPU temps near 60 C when charging at 2400 mA on a QC2 charger.

I also had a 128GB Sandisk fail in less than a year, I'm pretty sure the 128's were just a bad card. I'm on a 200GB Sandisk currently without issue. Think I'll stick to Samsung memory in future!

Agreed, probably a bad batch. I had it fail while traveling, luckily I could still read the card and most of my files were fine. Thank goodness for cloud backups...
I got a 64 GB Samsung Evo Plus card as a replacement , apparently they got good reviews for being fast and cheap. I also have a portable hard disk that works with the phone when connected to a powered USB hub. You can't trust cheap flash drives to be reliable.

... and they don't have the adopted storage problem getting corrupted many people cry about...
