hey guys, the "6-pin connector" for my 607T had became detached and broken, does anyone have SPARE or know where i can buy some? ive only found on other onlinestores like ebay but says will be shipped in like mid december.
Glue/epoxy the connector back together or order one from ebay... mid-December isn't that far away. How badly broken is it?

Hi there - I'm new to the forum.
I own an Orange SPV M1500 which I think is what you'd term a Himalaya here.
My partner bought me a great new car kit which has the typical thin xda connector port in it, but now the phone is behaving badly. The screen is wonky in several places and is not responding to taps.
My dilemma is this - Orange do not provide these phones any more and they don't provide phones with the same port connector on the bottom either.
So I either have to get rid of the cradle or somehow get another phone with this type of connector.
Does anyone know the current list of phones with this kind of connector? Or where I might be able to get hold of a replacement?
Thanks in advance.
I'm not too sure, but with most car kits you can buy replacement cradles, which i believe are relatively cheap compared to replacing the whole of the car kit, what car kit is it? perhaps a quick google search along the lines of replacement cradles might turn up something
Hi,
I managed to break the LCD (the touch screen itself is not cracked) on my two-month-old XV6800 . I took it back to the Verizon store and they were really helpful but they determined it's not under warranty and that's understandable. So, I want to buy a replacement LCD for it. Has anyone purchased a replacement LCD before for their HTC device, and if so, from where? I Googled for about an hour this morning and couldn't find one (I have to admit that I don't know if other models' screens are compatible though). I found one on eBay but the seller is in Hong Kong and I'd really rather pay a few bucks more and get it from someplace in the US that can ship it overnight to me. I think I can handle the actual repair myself.
Thanks
If you can not find it, you can come to our online store to purchase it.
Thanks
I did a google Search and came up with these:

Similar problem
I have the same problem (Dog bit the screen). Thanks for the links. Has anyone found directions on how to replace the LCD?
To the other person doing this... let me know how it went. Also, is the touchscreen and LCD sold as one unit ? I understand they are separate items and both may be damaged.
Thanks for any help !!!!
I need a replacement ribbon cable which connects the screen to the keyboard (the one that slides back when you open and close the kboard). Anyone knows where to find it?

Hi,
I was replacing the LCD in my Rhodium yesturday and stupidly managed to break one of the tiny LED's next to the speaker away from the
T-shaped Flex cable that connects to the keyboard, screen, main board etc.
I am having a very hard time finding the right cable as some appear to not have the small front camera socket on them.
I did put a bid in on one from hong kong on ebay that looks like it could be the one, but the seller doesn't understand what i'm going on about in regards to the front camera.
Does anyone know where i could possibly get one? Or if HTC themselves could supply it?
Thanks,
Karl
Anyone have an idea?
flex cable
you can try on EBAY online shopping, u will get there
Hi everyone, I bought this ZenFone2 4gb 64g, recently it got soaked in my pocket due to rain and now has a few problems such as vibrating motor not working, microphone and speakers not working and screen timeout not working as well.
the problem is that due to job I relocated to Pakistan and here there is no one with replacement parts for this phone neither do they have experience of it. I have located parts on aliexpress.com but I am reluctant to open it up myself.
ASUS says Thayer its warranty was only 6 months so I am left with no options. Help me guys if you know something which can be done.
Thanks
Its easy to open. Need just the right tools. I think you may need to change docking port chip. Its about 6$ at aliexpress. Changed mine.. There are a lots of guides in web. Try one.
If you don't want to change it, just order it and go to some Asus repair center or any cellphone, smartphone repair center. And tell them you're problem firstly. Anyone with normal knowledge about a smartphone could do this.
Ofcourse if you do it yourself there can be problems, that i had : Broken antenna cable (I changed display- twice), broke the battery (i was a fool ).
Little Instruction: Take back cover off, take all the screws out, they are about 10, don't remeber really. Unplug SIM, SD flex cable, that is on the docking port chip.
Remove Antenna, very carefully. And replace it.
