Mi PC Suite - Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Questions & Answers

Hi All,
Do you know how use "Mi PC Suite" with the Xiaomi mi A2 Lite ?
The Xiaomi'software don't recognise my Xiaomi mi A2 Lite and give the message "You need to update your device to use Mi PC Suite / Update your device before connecting".
As the Xiaomi mi A2 lite is on Android One, there isn't MIUI. Is that not avoid to use Mi PC Suite ?
Thanks in advance for your experience's share

Hello,
I've ordered a Xiaomi Mi 5S and a Xiaomi Amazfit Smartwatch. Since I want to change both in German, I need your help. Which Rome is the best for the German language and how do I get the clock set in German?
Many Thanks
I use xiaomi.eu weekly update roms.
I use @xiaobai112220 s unofficial LineageOS ROM and do really appreciate it, as long as there is no official release of the source files from xiaomi...

Does Mi9 SE have rollback protection?

Hi all,
I was searching the whole internet about this question:
Does Mi 9 SE (global) have rollback protection?
I found a list of Xiaomi Devices here:
https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-anti-rollback-protection-brick-phone/
It seems not to be up to date, there is no Mi 9 or Mi 9 SE mentioned.
Any feedback appreciated.
Best regards,
Kassi

Rollback protection is a mechanism to prevent MIUI downgrades.
So if you flash an "older" version of MIUI than your phone has installed, the phone gets bricked.
I found, that my Mi 9 SE global has rollback protection by doing the following (assuming, on your Windows PC you got installed all necessary drivers, adb tools and all the other tools for unlocking and flashing):
Boot your phone in fastboot mode and connect it to your PC
In a DOS box:
Code:
fastboot getvar anti
If you get a result
Code:
anti: 1
your phone has rollback protection enabled. This index seems to be incremented but never decremented.
This index on your phone has always to be smaller than the index of the ROM you are flashing, else you brick your phone.
Long story short: my Mi 9 SE has rollback protection
This doesn't prevent me of flashing a custom ROM, but it means to be more careful because there will be no way back if an update is buggy.

Kassi

Poor mi max 3 received mi blocked !

Hi friends,
I'm fun of xiaomi mi max serie (mi max, mi max 2, and mi max 3), and love nice large screen!
My last order from china (mi max 3) was received with locked mi account, sent many emails to xiaomi support with no reply. SO no way to install mui rom. Then i turned to others rom via Orange fox.
My only problem, is all tested roms (A10-11-12) are working, i have only big issue with network mobile : mobile signal is not stable at all (connecting-disconnecting) , and data not working (LTE+ : but no way to connect any webpage), made a lot of tests and installed many things (flashed persist.img, flashed new modem file NON-HLOS.bin, firmware 3.9.9, etc ... ) but no way to get this device working properly ....
My current mi max 2 is working really better !
I remarked that on the box the 2 IMEI are the same number ! ?
mi max 3 model : M1804E4A (basicaly first produced model?)
Any help ?
