how to enable engineering mode? I tried *#*#4636#*#* but nothing happened!
any solution?
Ps. I'm non-root

For me it's working so I guess you have a carrier version that maybe have this option not available. I have the Google version.

you can always borrow someones sprint sim fir a bit then ull have access to a lot of commands.. i was able to get data programming, debug menu, the 4636 etc etc on a vzw variant just by utting in a dif sim

Because if we know what you're trying to do we can give better advice.
Unless what you're trying to do is technically against forum rules, of course

what was said above ^
but back to your question. Yes there is a diag mode available, but you need a bypass card in order to access it. this diag mode is normally meant for diagnosing faulty mainboards, and the such.
so basically yes there is a mode, but no your not going to be able to get access to it. cause the card itself is a unicorn, and there have been some home made cards but realistically if your trying to download / change the bands its nearly impossible. since the firmware's are so locked down.

it's avaliable on sprint m8 with this code ##3424# , so what's problem with t-mob m8?
i think there should be some adb commands at least, but i'm asking if there is some code for it , like it's on sprint version
It should be the same code for all devices, unless the carrier has disabled it

Engineer/Service Mode on OP3

How can I access Engineer/Service mode on my OP3? I would like to view LTE information and select a specific band. It was really easy on my old Samsung. I have tried *#*#83781#*#* and *#*#2637643#*#* -When I type these codes, it diminishes itself and nothing happens. Then I tried the old *#*#4636#*#* but it didn't had that setting to select LTE band. I also tried *#36446337# and *#808# and these also don't have that setting.
Thanks
I join the request
*#801# engineer mode
you can try replacing the x with 1-9 *#80x#
At the moment you can't unlock new lte bands, we need a specific patch for op3 (64bit patch) because NVRAM values will reset after reboot the phone.
I've already tried but my pc don't recognizes op3, so good luck, maybe with a custom kernel will work?
For more information on unlocking bands, join the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/help/unlocking-lte-bands-t3425871

I've tried with all the sequences from 1 to 9 without success. BTW, I read somewhere the Engineer/Service Mode has a setting in the A3000 to switch from Asian configuration to USA configuration. Is it true?. That will fix my LTE issues.

Is it possible to take the LG G7 Thinq from demo mode? LM-G710V

Hi everyone, I'm from Brazil and I was wondering if it is possible to remove the demonstration mode of the LM-G710V, I bought it from a promoter of the manufacturer and the device has several limitations, is it possible to replace the ROM? and if so how?
It's just a setting in the setup.
Just enter setup.. Think it's under display

It's not that simple
Just activate developer options and there you will have turn off retail demo mode.
Developer settings then demo. Turn it off. And yeas it's that simple.
does not work

the demo mode option is disabled, it's a demo-only cell phone, no chip, no memory card, I wanted to know if I can change the ROM to fix this, and if so, how?

You cant, only variant that have roms are the European variant due to it having an unlockable bootloader
Or you can try to flash Korean pie firmware. Search here. https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg...how-to-install-pie-stock-treble-aosp-t3914079

Work well with Korean model.
I notice that there is an option for VoWiFi in the SVC Menu. Do we need to enable it to use with the cellular network that supports it?

I'm wondering the same thing. I am on T-Mobile which supports Wi-Fi calling but even when I turn this on in the SVC menu, I'm not sure how I can know if Wi-Fi calling works.
Add it 5457#*500#
The only code is usable for my Sprint unlocked V50 is the first one of the OP,but in the options it gives me,i dont have the SVC menu option like i have in other LG models.
I want to see the condition of my battery and its charging cycles.
Any idea or another code?
I tried also the other codes given in the OP.
Sprint V50, use at your own risk, some settings changes requires unlock code, get it from Sprint.

On the V50S (V510N) U+ Korean model I get the hidden menu with *#546368#*510#
While I get the Service menu with 5457#*510#
These are the menu items on V510N
In my LM-V450PM Sprint model the hidden menu is this as shown in my screenshot below.
This is the V510N Service menu

i called t-mobile and they gave me mine.
what are you trying to do if you can get in there?

service mode

Hi,
I cannot access to service mode menu *#2263# , blank screen, I have exynos versio of note 10.
Any idea?
Works fine on my US SD model.
My unlocked 10+ flashed with t-mobile firmware works for that service mode.
BTW did you try other codes like *#0*#, to see if they work? I also remember something about Exynos having different sequence for some codes than SD in the past, but I don't remember details. I think there are some apps that can list all the codes available for your phone, so that would be my next step.

dl phoneinfo.apk or similar that lists all the dialer codes for u to try..
if none work then its possible ur carrier disabled them.. if u have root u can enable them.. on sd devices you would enable in the file /efs/FactoryApp/keystr and /efs/carrier/HiddenMenu..
i have vzw who blocks dialer codes so i always have to enable them manually..
