Gallery replacement apps?

The gallery app on my g2 tends to be stupid when it comes to seeing when new files have been added to the sd card from somewhere other than the camera app. Any better alternativs?

I would looking because I hate the stock gallery. I use b&b gallery from the market. It's not the prettiest and looks like the g1 stock gallery. But it works great, is quick and what I was looking for. No glitches and I can see all my pics! Hope that helps you.

Yeah I realized that later. I only had the stock rom for 2 hours when a bought the phone. :/

The only time my gallery acts up loading new pics is when I reboot my G2, but I expect that

It's cool because you can view your photobucket, flickr, picasa, facebook, and local galleries from the same app. (if you use all those services)!

Couldn't find b&b gallery..Just pictures is a good app tho..Reads my pics from my sd unlike the stock gallery 3d. Was having a bunch of trouble with the stock app..Thanks a lot

Does anyone know how i could install the Samsung Galaxy Splanner app (calendar) onto my HtC One ?

if it's not connected to the framework or TW roms then you could try pulling it from a galaxy rom and pushing it to your phone

U cant ot needs the tw framework too

Any version of android with another ui(sense or touchwiz) has it's own framework so some apps are integrated with other apps. Without the framework though, the app is missing integral files that it needs to be able to reference to function.
Which I think is dumb because I'd really like to see the TW music and sms apps work on non-Tw toms.

I like the Galaxy Splanner calendar too. Found aCalendar in Play Store, has many of same features, I like it a lot better than the HTC stock calendar. Check it out.

Indeed I found aCalendar and it has a great UI... thanks for sharing.

I don't know what's hard to understand as peiple still go in about this.
It DOESN'T WORK and never will unless you want to port a whole tw Rom... Which most probably won't work either.

Gallery app

The stock gallery app on the phone is not the best. So what are some other gallery apps you guys use other there? And if I get a 3rd party gallery app can I disable the stick one?

This version is compatible with every device, and also Zoe video editing is working.
The things I loved most from M7 and M8 were Gallery and Sense Launcher with Blinkfeed.
Since they are both available for other devices I am happy with OP2.
Soon I will join OP3 crew ?

Not sure about Samsung but I recommend QuickPic by CM. Wifi transfer built in and good UI in my opinion. Cheers

Agree, is the one that I use currently.
It's available in Google Play.

I think you can search samsumg gallery on Google Play Store, maybe it is also available！

There is no quicker gallery. Still using this version and am more than happy with it.

Anyone else think that the built in Gallery could use some work?
1. Can't move files.
2. Pinch to zoom is just as bad as it is with Google Photos.
I've disabled it and am using a Modded Version of QuickPic.

Yes we are in agreement with the built-in gallery.

Yeah I agree. I used the S8 before and that is the best gallery for Android bar none. This is super basic.

Haven't used anything but Google photos for years.. i dont think anything beats it. Something about taking a photo n be available across all your devices is amazing

Can't stand Google Photos. I just want a Gallery with all my albums. I don't really need all the bloat that comes with Photos.

I'm still using the last version of Quickpic before they sold out.
