I've Tab 3 (SM-T311). Recently I installed lineage OS. All are working as expected (no calling,no mhl).
In all other androids in my home right click of external mouse works as back button. But in this tab this function is not working.
Is there any way to solve it ?

After I tried many many roms, finally I installed the original one. I found one which is rooted and have a2sd. So it is 2.3.3 and the camera work like a charm. Wifi hotspot also ...
I want to turn on the display with trackball key or other hardware keys at the bottom of the device. How can I achieve this?

Install cyanogenmod, it has an option in the cm menu for this
What rom do you have in mind? cm7.2 or other based on it?
I tried cm 7.2 in the past when it came out. Probably I have its backup somewhere in my sdcard.
I really want to try the stock image right now....

Hi,
I have a galaxy note 2014 edition that has retail mode on, it was a demo ex. Is there anyway to remove this from the device? Maybe through factory reset with stock firmware or something? Have no idea how to do a factory reset with stock firmware if that works.

Hi,
To do a factory reset: Switch off the tablet.
Then power it up by pressing simultaneously and holding : Volume up + Home + Power
When in Recovery mode move the cursor with the volume key and execute with the power key.
Select Factory reset and execute it.

Factory reset doesnt seem to help for some reason. Its like its in the rom. Were can I find the stock rom and how do I put it in?

Have a look HERE it's for the S5 but it should something similar for the Note 2014.

Ive done every step of that guide except flash with a stock rom since I dont know were to get it or how to flash the devicce.

Hi,
OK, the first thing to know is which device you have: Sm-P600/601/605 ??
Then to know which ROM is installed on the tablet ?
If you can go to setting : then scroll down to "About the phone" you should see the version of the ROM.
With that you go to sammobile
You put your device type and you will get all the stock ROM's
You click on the one you want and on the next windows you will have the URL to download and the way to install it.
To be able to download the ROM you have to register on this site but it's free of charge !!

Its a SM-P600,

I tried that site but canceled it cause it said it will take 15h to download the firmware.
You can try from HERE
But I am not sure it will be any faster.
Those ROM's are quite big > 1.xx Gb so if your internet connection is slow it's take time.

It seems to go a little bit faster today from sammobile. I have a 100/100 connection so it should go fast

One more question, I can´t seem to set some kind of password for the lockscreen since the lock screen option is gone in some way. It says something about Knox but what is that?
Can i add some other app that handles the lock screen?
About Knox: it's some kind of security introduced by Samsung some months ago, a real pain in the back..

Yes you can install applications w/o problem.
Knox will only get involved when you start playing with the ROM's, Bootloader etc ..

I would like to remove the starting screen ''Live demo unit'' on SM-T800X tablet to the stock one, and after flashing I have got the demo pieces of text in the bottom of the screen.
I tried to re-partition the install with ODIN and used a PIT file but no changes. Anybody can help with this problem please ? Is there any solution to change the demo unit to look as a stock SM-T800 ?
Also if there any solution to change KNOX value to 0 would be great.
So I'm kind of glad and worried right now.
I installed this ROM on my SM-T210, however the creator of the ROM states it's only compatible with the T210R. But I went and successfully installed it with next to no problems, and it appears to work flawlessly.
Should I be worried, and also is this the reason the home button no longer wakes the tablet?

No, you shouldn't be worried.
Look in the add-ons section of the OP for that rom and you will find a mod to enable Home button wake.
Anybody know of a solution out there to bring the home button back to the center like every other Android device. I am rooted and I'm using Nova Launcher. Looking for a way to do this without using a different launcher or a different rom. I know with CM you can change them but I know someone out there knows a way? Also does anybody like this on the left side? Thanks.
I use Pixel_C_SystemUI_Navbar_Tuner_NRD90M.zip from https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=104855. It works great, even on 7.1.1 (NMF26H). I have an extra "recent" button on the left, home in the center and an extra "left" on the right. It has to be installed with recovery.

I flashed the SystemUI_Navbar_Tuner zip file that you posted and SystemUI continually kept crashing. I had to boot back into recovery and restore from a backup. I'm on 7.1.1 (NMF26H).

Thanks for the reply - I bet having it installed prior to 7.1.1 was the key to getting it working. At any rate I have bigger problems now, after restoring my backup my device gets stuck at the Google logo screen. I can still boot back into TWRP recovery, but I'm afraid I'll have to flash back to stock via the official images from Google. If that doesn't work I'll be returning this tablet. Kinda sad, I've only had it for a few days...
FWIW, my tablet isn't rooted.
Hello guys, I'm writing here to see if anyone knows a solution for this, well my note 8 pro fell to the ground and the screen broke, almost half of it couldn't be seen and the touch screen worked halfway, after that I went to put a new screen and when doing it, the new screen does not give me touch, it only gives an image but not touch, and well I have already tried with at least 10 screens and they still do not give me touch, but with its broken original screen it works, really no longer I know what to do with the device, and I need to recover files from it.

Use OTG and connect mouse to backup what you need. Then try to flash Miui 12.0.x fastboot to check if it work or not. That's wierd because stock miui kernel should work on replacement screen.
