Simple question. How to activate split screen or window mode? Old way of dragging recent app or tapping split icon are gone. Ideas?
Looking at the open apps, tap the app icon on the top center of the app you want in split screen and you'll get the menu.
And how about the swapping the places of split windows?? Is it totally gone now?

Chrome has a nifty free tool called Split Screen where you can have two URL's side by side on a single page.

Very handy for language translation or to keep a series of parallel bookmarks for related items.
Is something like this available for our tablets ?
You can simply load two Chrome browsers in MultiWindow mode.

From the homescreen, swipe open the multi window bar, hit the Chrome icon and drag it over towards the middle of the screen and let go. As it is the first one you are opening it will fill the whole screen. Swipe the bar open again and then drag a second Chrome icon over the screen but keep your finger on it... as you swipe over the first half of the screen, one side of the screen will turn blue... if you want it open on that side just let go of the icon. If you keep dragging the icon over to the second half of the screen, the second part will then turn blue and you can drop it there and Chrome will open up a second time on that side. Hope this is clear enough

When in a full screen app and you press a notification that then opens up in a floating hover screen, is there any easy way to then switch to the full screen app of whats inside the hover screen?
An example is when you download an excel file in an email client and when it opens in hover you cant see everything clearly, is there a shortcut to go to make it full screen from that hover screen?
I don't think there is. You'd have to tap outside of the window and use the multitasking button to select the window you minimized.
Hi,
Go into app info (can be accessed via long press 1/on notification or 2/ into view or recent apps).
Press Blacklist and uncheck floating option.

Split screen on the Note 8 had a small toolbar. You could lock part of the screen, swap screens, etc. On the Note 10+ nothing. Anyone know how to activate toolbar or do we just wait for an upgrade!!!
Did you try Good Lock and MultiStar app within? it gives you more options to play with

Not sure if this will help..
Press the icon on your navigation bar for recent apps. By default it should be the bottom left corner button (mine looks like 3 vertical lines) .
Then when the app your looking for is displayed press the icon that appears at the top of the app. One of the options will be to open in split screen view, open in pop-up view
Yep, that's cool. Know that. Just need to know if there's a way to swap screens and snap text or images. At the moment nothing is fixed, so when I click on keyboard top text or images disappear, i.e. move up!

Am I missing something because i can't find them...
It seems three split screen works from the top icons, but close all apps only exists in gesture mode, in 3 button navigation the option is missing
Using the 3 buttons (not gestures) I can access running apps list and pin the first choice to the top half of the screen. After that the running apps list will no longer appear to allow choosing the second app. I don't know that it should, just been a samsung user so I expected to be that way).
The lower half of the split screen shows the top of the home screen. If I leave app shortcuts there they will open in the lower half of the screen. I'm not too keen on configuring my home screen with shortcuts to apps I might use in split screen along the top.
Hopefully I'm just missing some not to obvious method to control this function. Any suggestions?
