i wouldn't recommend you to set cpu to 1.8GHz. You will get random reboots.

@RolanDroid the camera no longer works while using your kernel on the latest CM13 builds, because they updated the camera to M (I can't be more specific, sorry, check the CM13 thread if you need more info). And yes, I'm sure this is kernel related because everything works perfectly on the stock CM kernel.

i dont get it, why are u forcing to make kernels on custom roms? Basicly u are removing everything that xiaomi is known as.
We need a kernel that is working fine with MIUI.

1. Have a clean setup. (rom, boot.img & vendor)
2. Install magisk & reboot to rom.
3. Reboot to recovery (clean) flash the kernel & DON'T wipe dalvik/cache. (wiping cache will give bugs in MIUI and most likely give you the app open delay bug)

dipper has no 70Hz

I saw people talking about overclocked display HZ which is very bad specially for amoled screen like in mi 8. That's why extreme kernel is avoided by many mi 8 users because it has display OC. If you knowingly want to destroy your display then you can use kernel with 70hz display OC. But i personally wish that in this kernel they never add display OC.
By the way this kernel is so good i recommend it trying out once.

no oc, for the above reason of it being amoled. furthermore i have the beryllium and i cant do such things on devices i dont have.

Finally, I saw whiners about the harm of overclocking live

Tested the first version and it didn't work to well, lots jitters and lag. Whatever you've done in the updated one has fixed those issues, I will continue testing and let you know how it preforms.

How to change GPU to OC 820Mhz from mlx ?

is there anyway to force selinux status to permissive? mine still says its on enforcing after flashing kernel...

There is one issue I am having but I do not know if its the kernel. Whenever I use the fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone. There is a noticeable delay in screen turning on. I am using Aosip Illusion rom with this kernel.

Reboot after phone deep sleep, I'm using MIUI 10.3.2.0 Global Stable.

miui cant support kernel 4.9 sadly same as stock vendor ! no video codec, cant take camera record and no fp fpc its need custom vendor ...

After switch mobile data in other sim needs reboot phone for eneble mobile data

That bug is due to your rom ( trees sources ) . report to your maintener rom witch full log for help dev

Which governor in this kernel saves maximum energy?
dt2w function not working in hx8399c touch panel in this kernel.
Other functuinons working normal.

hx8399c doesn't work on many kustom roms and kernels. in stock miui work normal. this is original xiaomi panel

thanks for ur work.
My concern is unexpected shutdown. When battery gets old phone shutdowns himself at %30 battery level or so. Apple fixed it with reducing overall system power draw. At least we can play with Cpu voltages using these kernels. Can you develop simple button for it?

1- For have better life battery, you can use battery charge limit [Root] app for limit your charge to 80%
2- in custom version kernel from Smartpack kernel manager you can set all perfctl value to -10mv for good undervolting phone
