Verizon bloatware? - Samsung Galaxy S9 Questions & Answers

I'm considering upgrading to the VZW-specific version of the S9. Can anyone tell me how bad the bloatware is on the VZW S9 versus the factory unlocked version?
Thanks,
Craig

Is there a difference with the M10h?

Another thread got me to wondering what the differences are, if any, between my phone which is a Factory Unlocked M10h and any of the other retail handsets. Is it only that mine is an international version? Just curious.
Thanks in advance!

Unlocked Galaxy S9 Question

Hello guys,
I did see that the Galaxy s9 / s9 plus is cheaper through Samsung or through Best Buy Friday. The phone that is cheaper is the unlocked version that works with any carrier including Verizon which I get. My question is will the unlocked version work with, or have a way to download Verizon Visual Voicemail, and will it work? Appreciate the feedback.
I had an unlocked S7 and could never get visual voicemail to work. I'm not sure if anything has changed.

If I buy a Galaxy S9 today (the T-Mobile version), will I be able to root it?

Hello!
I am considering buying a Galaxy S9 today. I want to keep it on Oreo if possible due to wanting to use GravityBox. However, it is the T-Mobile version of the phone. Does this make a difference? I know with the Google Pixel you cannot unlock the bootloader if it is the Verizon version of the phone. Was just wondering if this is the case here with the T-Mobile version of the Galaxy S9. Thanks so much in advance.
Can't root any american s9's.
Welp Samsung just lost my business
You can root the european ones though, you can find them on ebay easily.
I'm in the US and my Exynos S9 came in the mail today and it already has the Pie update and will be rooted as soon as I get home. I recommend everyone buy the Exynos versions when possible.

Contract Note 10+

Getting it on a contract in UK wanted to as about carrier bloatware and is there difference between carrier and unlocked version in regards to firmware updates :good:
Unlocked devices tend to be updated after carrier branded ones, odd, but true
If you want non branded so updates when Samsung release go three if want branded go Vodafone(unsure)/o2/ee

You can't root any of the NA versions.
I bought the SM-901E[/DS], it's a snapdragon variant, root able but does not work on CDMA carriers in the US
