Hi I after Google fit update it updated on my Sony smartwatch 3, but when I installed omnirom on my phone and connected it to my watch Google fit didn't update on watch and doesn't sync with my phone.
I sideloaded the fit app and the play services apk and it seems to work fine so far. Does it work for you?
Hi,
I have same problem. Play services are already loaded and fit app too. Did you sideloaded another versions, or you didn't have them before?
There is a thread on the google support for wearOS that addresses this. You need to roll back the fit app and side load play services on the watch.

Hi,
It seems google has finally fixed this issue in the last update of fit application dated 26th Feb 2019.
Without any workaround, I recovered few days ago full functionalities on my SW3 like starting activity on the watch.
That's great : I can now use my SW3 again for measuring activity !

I see comments about 1Weather being a good Weather app for Smartwatches, but I have it on my Note 4, and do not see it on my Zenwatch ( Android 6.0.1)
Any help with this?
I know this (Zenwatch) old, but I just got it last friday my first Smartwatch)
The only thing I can think of is you might try "Resync apps" in the Wear app on your phone. It takes a fair amount of time for it to sync them all over Bluetooth.
I tried that and nothing.
Does it show up as an app in your launcher?

I hadn't used it, but I just installed it to try it out, and no, it doesn't show up on my watch either. Here's a reddit post that indicates they may have removed Wear support: https://www.reddit.com/r/AndroidWear/comments/3tatgt/issue_with_1weather_and_other_apps/

I am on the latest 7.1.2 Verizon build and I noticed when I did a factory reset that in Google+ settings, I no longer have the option under settings to keep the contacts up to date. This option would always keep my user profile picture under the phone settings to stay updated instead of a blank photo. Anybody else seeing this?
Yes, thank you! I thought I was going nuts lol
I just got a OnePlus 3t (my N5x put itself in reboot purgatory) and while trying to set it up, I couldn't find this option for the LIFE of me.
Any idea on how we can get this functionality back?
I really liked how it synced with my G+ profile pic and I never had to worry about it...

Yeah i just upgraded to 7.1.2 on my Verizon Pixel XL and just noticed this. Not sure why this was removed or if it is just located somewhere else. Would really love it back though.

Google removed it a couple weeks ago. You have to load your own image under quick settings account now. As for tracking contacts where abouts you can do it through maps. But the person you tracking needs to set up who they share location with

This fixed worked 100% for me. While it's a bit annoying way to get back functionality, there's really not much to it.
I also tested it by letting the app update from the Play Store, then changing my profile pic in g+ and it updated in android. Win!

On Marshmallow (6.0.1), I was getting "App not Installed" errors when I tried to install the old APK over the new one; had to revert the G+ app to stock (Settings > Apps > Google + - tap top right, then "Uninstall Updates") first to get the older APK to install.

I have the same problem on my Pixel XL running 7.1.2 (NJH47B).
The fix is fine at first, but stops working when I update Google+ to the latest version again.
Funnily enough, this doesn't affect my older devices running Android 6.x and below - my profile picture stays ok regardless of Google+ version.
Help, anybody?
Any luck for anyone?

Anything new ?
I've tried downgrading but as soon as the app is updated the pic disappears, I'm on a Nexus 6P 7.1.2.
The same thing happen on the beta version of Android O.
After the update this morning my device is official in settings but in play store it's uncertified and Google play thinks I'm rooted....
Sort of the same issue. I downloaded Safetynet check and it says CTS Profile mismatch. Now I can't use Android Pay to charge my car.

Also showing a mismatch so they screwed something up.
Mismatch here as well, accidentally updated this morning. ?
On another note do you think this could be an exploit used for root ?

I had that problem this morning. Couldn't do anything about it. I had to exchange my phone.
Great. Mine shows mismatch, BUT, just used Samsung Pay about 15 minutes ago
Mine too
Guys before you start to exchange your phones, I have the same problem with my One Plus 3T, my Galaxy S7 edge, and the motorola Z play as well. The only phone that doesn't have that problem is the Motorola X pure edition.

But it's an issue if Android pay does not work. I don't use it as samsung pay works fine. It's just the fact that Google thinks our brand new phones are rooted/modified.
Perhaps some devious plan on Samsung's part to force owners to use Samsung Pay vs Android pay.
I never use Android pay because not enough places have the right terminals installed.

Was just on twitter with T-Mobile help discussing this and they indicate they are aware of the issue and have a team working on it --- we'll see. It must be something that the phone companies are doing wrong with their software updates. Yesterday I could add a card to Android Pay and today after the update I could not.

Everyone!!!! It's not an issue with the software from samsung... If you download the latest Google play services 11.0.33 the device will pass safetynet check, store will show certified and Android pay will work as expected!!! I did this and it worked for me on my S8+.

How can you update? I currently have version 10.2.98 installed and the play store does not reflect an update.
Well it seems like they are changing their stance on the issue. I reached out to T-Mobile via Twitter Support, last night, and they have informed me that they are aware of the issue and will fix in the next update. (Hoping soon)
Hey there! Thanks so much for reaching out about this and bringing it to our attention. We have noted this issue down and we are making adjustments for when our next update comes out from Samsung! I sincerely appreciate the feedback and it will be sent in the right direction to the right people! I have a link here: https://support.t-mobile.com/community/phones-tablets-devices/software-updates … that take you to our software updates page where you can see and watch our updates as they come to our network! Updated and still no joy.
I'm running on the latest firmware and I also received the April Security patch update. But I still don't have Google Asistant. Long pressing the home button opens the Marshmallow style Now on tap interface, and the Ok Google voice activation opens up traditional voice search. Any ideas how to activate Google Assistant without unlocking the bootloader.

Yea of course!
I purchased the Huawei Mate XS back in August 2020 thinking it would be easy to install GAPPS but after trying for so long back then I gave up until giving it another go last week and I can now say this is the best phone I've owned so far!
Thanks to bender_007 for making Googlefier! This app will literally install the GAPPS for you as long as you follow the prompts and instructions within the Googlefier app.
My phone came with EMUI 10.0.1.151 but after trying so many solutions, it always ended up being unsuccessful. I downgraded the software down to 10.0.1.138 using hisuite and from there had all my google stuff working within 10 minutes. Only downside I have is google pay is not working unfortunately but it's better than no google apps at all.
Video: Huawei Mate XS GAPPS
File link: Googlefier
Great Live wallpaper that works well on Mate XS
Thanks for the video. I just have a couple of questions which I was hoping you could answer.
1. How is the battery life after installing Google Services? I read that it drains the battery quite a bit and Huawei's Battery Optimizer shows an alert that Google services is draining the battery.
2. Are you able to upgrade to EMUI 11 after installing Google services?
3. Does Chromecast work reliably after installing Google services?

Hi guys, I've been really considering purchasing this phone, It's an absolute masterpiece. Although the fact that it doesn't support Google Services is a bummer. I am a Google user all the way from Gmail, GDrive, GHome, and AndroidTV at home to where I usually cast my screen and/or photos and other content.
Does Casting through Google Photos work with this workaround you've found?

When I installed Google services in my Mate XS, chrome cast worked with no issues. The only problem I had was that push notifications didn't work for apps downloaded from the Play Store.
