TeamHorizon's XenonHD rom builds for LG Optimus G.

XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is built from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".​
How to use the layers theme engine
To use the layers theme engine please follow this guide in the YouTube video, but remember you already have the layers app built in to this rom, so you don't need to worry about joining the community or downloading the beta. See the XDA page below for available themes (you can also go to the Google play store and search "layers themes" - if you install themes from the play store make sure you open the theme after downloading and follow instructions from there)

Flashing Instructions:
To install this ROM you will need to have an unlocked boot loader and a latest custom Recovery such as TWRP 2.8.6.0 or PhilZ installed - Download it now from here
Copy the downloaded ROM to your phone.
Boot into your recovery
Back up your ROM
Enter recovery
Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik). If you're updating rom or have other 5.1 already you don't need to wipe data (wipe system, cache, dalvik)
Install the ROM
Install GAPPS package
Reboot - the first boot can take up to 5 minutes

Dadi1 Hello, I wanted to know something about installing this ROM and their respective gapps, today I try to install the rom, I wipe system, Dalvík , cache and then install the gapps (ARM 6.0 Stock) and failed to install the gapps , I tell you that I have installed the xenonhd 5.1.1 and it works great, the only problem I have with 5.1.1, is the NFC function is activated by itself and spends much battery even when active airplane mode at night to I go to sleep, but everything else is great rom, by the way I am grateful for your work and dedication. I hope you know apologize for my English.

Bad use Google Apps, have this firmware, as I understand it, is not applied a patch for the proper operation of Google Apps.

Gapps should work fine now. Use any of opengapps packages. I recommend minimal ones

Thanks for the release and hard work. just downloaded 7.1 RR, will downgrade from Pixel Experience 8.1.0 because of bug. In Los15.1 and PE there's a multitouch bug (google: android 8.1 multitouch)
Can you confirm if this bug is presented or is fixed somehow by you?
Going to Nougat from Oreo just because of this bug, which drives me insane.

no camera app..did a full wipe including storage..i`m on TWRP 3.2.1 firmware 8.2.1 and there is no camera app and no camera apk can be installed. This is the same issue with Omni Rom

I also face this problem with all oreo 8.1 rom that i've tried (aexmod, atomic, los15.1, PE). If I test it with a multitouch tester, it's fine. But the problem would be know if I play some games like modern combat 5, rules of survival, dead trigger, or all fps games

Bug shows itself if you use 2 fingers multitouch for 10 and more seconds (like in games, etc.), then it starts lagging and register touchs not on the position I hold fingers, but in random places of the screen. (Like in cheap phones or when charging with fake adapter or when under the rain).
As I saw others confirming this for all oreo 8.1, I would recommend all who use this to skip 8.1, and either use 8.0 or wait for 8.2. Also would love to have RR on Oreo 8.0 instead.
But again thanks for your efforts, I appreciate even without using.

Is there any way to install a camera app? This has been my favourite ROM for a long time and I do not want to change the ROM just for the camera.

did a clean install full wipe including the internal storage..flashed 8.2.1 firmware ROM gapps

I just flashed the ROM, nothing else.

@33bca, Thank you very much for the build. Can anybody please confirm or deny issues that I am facing? 1) After encrypting storage can't connect to camera and flashlight not working. 2) When trying to choose network type in System profiles I get force close Lineage Settings.
I'm askung without attaching logs as I am not sure if those problems are related to my device setup.

I updated from los15.1，and camera&flashlight is broken...
But everything else is perfect！

Perhaps it's a problem with the firmware? I think you need the 8.1.4
But I haven't tried this rom yet, just a guess...

I tried both with and without that firmwear (the firmwear by Psy-man) no luck yet. Pity seems like a cool ROM

Good Rom, good battery only that didnt work for me is Pepsy kernel. Found myself in flaming owl bootloop every time.

In recovery, Wipe data, dalvik and cache (factory reset) . Flash rom, flash gapps, flash magisk if needed, (i wipe cache and dalvik again) then reboot.
You need to have flashed the oreo base firmware first if youre coming from android 7.

If one came from latest miui based on Oreo, has the note almost the right firmware? Or is the lineage firmware necessary in every case?

I think but i'am not sure. For the security flash it.

First time installing crDroid to your ENTER-PHONE-NAME, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

Thanks! Is an awesome rom.
And is the only with DT2W working!!!
Besides that you can activate work profile and works like a charm.
The only thing I miss is the ability of switching off 1 sim leaving the other on.

camera nubia tried the same of lineage, mokee and portrait mode does not work. camera stops working. Are there any native cameras that will work all functions for this rom?

Very good work!!!!
Everything fine, double sim and camera working. The only problem is that recorded calls can't be played by stock player. Using VLC instead.
I have a question....
While installing this rom my phone became encrypted ( is a good thing ) but I was not interested in this right now.
There's something I can do to avoid encrypting phone while installing?
