Is anyone having issues with fast charging?
Google is doing an RMA on my device because they say there may be an issue since fast charging isn't working.
When I plug phone in it (51% battery) says fast charging but then says 2 hours til battery full but it takes 5 minutes to change 1% I am using the charger and chord that came with my Pixel 3XL
When I first got phone it would charge a 1% per minute and sometimes even faster.
Google assistant says my battery is good and no issues or apps affecting it... We also tried booting phone into safe mode which disables all 3rd party apps to make sure it wasn't a rouge app.
They instructed me that they are doing the RMA and will check my device when it gets back to them.
So today I decided to see if it was fast charging... Through an app that measured the MAh it charges at...
Also phone would say it was fully charged at 67%... I unplugged and restarted phone plugged it back in and it charged to 83% then said full again.
Anyways anyone else having any issues?
Here's some screenshots

It happens every now and then. What did you last change on your phone before the battery drop?
I just had one a couple days ago when switching to Calkulin's 1.1 ICS...after that drop, I recharged that night and the next day got 13 hrs or so with 54% battery still remaining. I think that, if you change your rom and then the drop happens after your next reboot, it just means that the original battery percentage was off and it's now corrected...
In short, I think it's nothing to worry about unless it's happening frequently.
my phone is stock and has been for quite some time. I like to power down sometimes to save battery or to not be distracted.

OP this seems to be a known issue... I asked a question along the same lines a couple of weeks ago, and had a quite a few responses. Here ya go:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1520830
The only time this ever happened to me was when my phone would reboot on its own due to a system crash but when I would reboot it again manually the battery stats would be back to what they were maybe 1-2% less.
It happens sometimes. I believe it has something to do with the Maxim fuel gauge chip in SGS2 phones. Sometimes reboots throws the battery stats off, but your phone doesn't actually lose that much charge. I've actually seen my battery % climb after a reboot. Wiping battery stats usually fixes the issue, as does charging to full of course.
I have a wierd problem, when i charge my phone my battery drains if the phone screen is off.
This happens on different roms, both gingerbread and jellybean.
If i turn of the phone or set screen on time to 30 minutes its fine.
Even after i flash the g2wipe and do a clean install i have the same problem.
I need some troubleshooting help.
I have another g2 with the same rom and its no problem

I had weird issue with my DZ. When connected to charger, it would show charging and orange charging light would come on. But the battery continued discharging.
After 2 days of flashing various roms and banging my head on the walls, it tured out to be a faulty usb cable. You might also verify if that is the culprit

Ready to go back to @??/€..... hate that but im sick of this battery drain randomly
Ive found a few things to be consistent maybe others can chime in.
With google services. Its not always bad. Recently had everything on and no issues. Including gps, Google now, location services etc.
I have found out to last more than a work day. Come home with 45-50%
But today..... Phone just restarted randomly, not the first time either. Usually there is an update for something and the phone restarts to update an app or whatever.
Today, just restart. Then 40 min to 1 hour later. Phone is getting HOT, I look and I had gone from 70% batt to 56 in minutes. Then to 40 then 15 and all the way to 2%
I wanted it to shut down on its own and restart it with a charge but, I had to drive home and car isnt 100% reliable and I didnt have a car charger. So I plugged it into pc to get a few % up.
Google plus went rogue I guess. As you'll see below. But why? And why doesn't @??/€ have this problem?
I just want the phone to last a full day. I dont even use it at work hardly at all with the exception of a bit of tapatalk and facebook......
Screen shots below for help.

Not to state the obvious, but have you considered freezing or uninstalling Google Plus?
Also, check out the link in my signature about keeping Google Services in check.
I forgot to mention that I'm on 4.2 .2 . In addition I didn't do anything to the song, I did not force stop loss, nothing. And everything is back to normal today

I just got this tablet (Wifi version) on Sunday. I noticed that charging this device takes longer than any other tablets I owned (Asus, Nexus, Samsung, etc.).
Just today, the tablet is at 11%. Plugged it in at 7:30 PM and at 8:48 PM (1 hour 15 minutes later), it's only at 20%.
Is this normal? Just want to check if my device is defective, the charger is defective, or just normal operation.

Thanks for the info!
I also found out the cable I use is bad. I used to charge with the original cable, but switch to another one that is longer. I tested the cable with USB Meter and I only get 0.67A output. With the original cable and another 3rd party cable, I got 1.67A output. Oopps..
EDIT: For those who doesn't know what a USB meter is, this is what I have:

Never had great battery life on this phone, at one point this summer I was getting 5+ SOT, but it's getting pretty bad, worse since 10.
I dony really see anything to explain it, at least not anything that one been able take action on.

I would say to get any solid advice you would need to charge fully and then let it run down to about 10% and then show the screen shots.

Actually this is exactly what I did. Unplugged it this morning.
Looks like BBS didn't reset or something? I guess I could do that, and then reboot tomorrow and then unplug?

That should work.
Out of curiosity, are there any updates on this?
