Purchase HTC 10 Earpiece - HTC 10 Questions & Answers

Hello everyone,
I recently began repairing my old HTC 10 and was trying to find an earpiece speaker replacement to finish my revamp. I recently bought a supposed HTC 10 earpiece from WitRigs but the part is completely wrong and doesn't fit at all in the midframe housing. Now i'm stuck and stumped on where to get a real part. Is there anyone here with experience replacing this part on their phone? Any tips on buying legit HTC 10 batteries would be amazing too.

as the thread says i need a replacement of the rear speaker on the aria my front speaker is fine where the calls come in are crystal clear but the back one is blown and my warranty is out on it i been searchin for a while now and any help would be appreciated
If your Aria was new when you bought it, it should still be under warranty. The warranty is 1 year, unless it was a refurb, then it's 90 days.

My friend, this is the same horror that i faced and yet not recovered completely from its impact.... The problem is with your touchscreen a.k.a digitizer which probably would have been known to you(as you mentioned you have googled a lot).My best advice is to change it in HTC service center itself, bcause i bought it in market and fixed it(though i was very careful in following each and every step) after few days of ruf-tuf usage the problem showed up again...So go for HTC Service they are the best doctors..
Before you buy new digitizer
and only if your warrenty has expired, try to open the phone (there is enough youtube videos), remove the digitizer and look at the black soft plstic ribbon that goes around the front plastic panel (the one that protects the lcd).
If it is little loose and not hard tight to the frame you can use a piece of plastic to attach it to the frame and check the touch responses again (that worked for me...)
else, buy a new digitizer (about 4-5 USD in eBay).

I've done a HTC wildfire digitizer swap before its fairly straight forward I found a guy on eBay from Poland I believe that sold pre-Cut stickers for attaching the digitizer to the LCD. I would have a look if you can and get one of them if you intend to move forward with the replacement, just make sure to remove as much of the excess glue from the old sticker first

Broken screen, lg trying to rip me

My Gpad fell from my hands some days ago and the screen is shattered, it is perfectly usable so only the glass (not the digitizer) is affected.
Bad news is the lg official repair service ask 190€ to fix it, and in Spain you can get it brand new for 240€!!!
I'm looking for alternatives... Has anyone installed new screen by themselves? Any recommendations?
(the tablet is usable, but I'm afraid the broken lines will increase with time...)
anyone?
Cheaper buying a new one. Even cheaper second hand

[Q] Build Quality? Thinking of switching from HTC One (m8)

I am thinking of selling my HTC One m8 and getting this phone. I'm a bit ocd when it comes to phones, and the build quality on the htc isn't working out for me - uneven speakers, loose volume rocker, dead pixel, logo falling off, scratches very easily (and I've already exchanged it twice too). Right now, it's in repairs for a broken speaker...
I understand there are lemons with all manufacturers, but when a common issue involves the logo "sticker" coming off the back due to heat, it becomes a general build quality concern.
Now, I know that the LG G3 is exceptional on paper, but that's what I thought about the One before actually using it.
Based on your experience, would you say that this type of problem also exists on the G3? Besides the cracking back (easily replaceable), are there any widespread build problems?
There have been reports of cracks in the body around the IR blaster, mics and headphone socket, but they seem isolated to certain batches. These should now be out of retail. Other than that there are no reports of quality issues.

I sold my htc one m8 and bought this lg g3, not one moment of regret, if you switch you will not be sorry
I gave my m8 to my son as an excuse to buy a new phone. I'm very happy with this phone. The size is about the same as the m8 but the screen is huge due to smaller bezel. So far this has been a solid phone. Just beware of the bootloader being locked for now.
Sadly my m8 has been sittin in my drawer since g3 release. biggest issue for me personally was the camera and large amout of wasted front space. never thought about going back to the m8.
I sold my M8 and 1+1 when I got the G3, in some ways the M8 is better but overall the G3 is much better.

Lost sound from earpiece spk, After LCD/Frame Replacement

Hello Everyone, Anyone with feedback on my issue or suggestions please comment-
After I cracked my glass I ordered a replacement screen/LCD/Frame single piece through amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TRWBNH6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
After performing the repair I have no sound from earpiece speaker and distortion from the loud speaker at the bottom of the phone. So I figured I must have damaged the speaker during the part transfer from old unit to new. So I ordered a new speaker. Speaker came today and after replacing the speaker I get the same sound from bottom and none from top.
I have searched and seems mostly iPhone post on the web with a similar issue. After calling local repair shops in MD/DC area, I do not have confidence that any of the ones I called know what to do.
Input is appreciated, I just bought this phone on craigslist and now its got a new screen but with no sound its junk!
Thanks
