I have noticed that after answering calls on the phone (Had the phone handy ) and not on the watch the general sound level on the phone was reduced to a mere whisper.
Turned off BT on phone and back on and the level was back to normal.
Have I missed a setting?
Today I noticed the sound level for notifications reduced to a whisper after a call answered on the mobile (could have answered the call on watch).
BT off then on on the mobile fixes the issue.
Nobody else experiencing the same behavior?

It seems about every day I notice that my phone is no longer making any noises, won't play music, no speakerphone if I make a phone call, and NO MICROPHONE! If I soft reset the problem goes away.
I'm starting to isolate the problem by removing some related programs, starting with Resco Audio Recorder (automatic phone recording) but has anyone else seen this problem?
It's soooo frustrating when someone calls and the microphone is dead.
Hi --
I've seen a similar problem: twice now, in the morning after the phone wakes me up with the alarm, I've gotten calls, where the phone vibrates and shows the incoming-call screen, but there is no ring. I go to answer, and I can't hear anything, and neither can the calling party hear me.
A while ago I put in the Windows directory the new AudioPara3.csv file that's floating around these forums, so I thought that might be the culprit. However, the phone was fine for over a week after loading the file, until I loaded HD Tweak and made a couple of changes with the volume settings. Right now I still have AudioPara3.csv loaded, and have dialed back the HD Tweak volume to the following:
Acoustic settings: Normal
Increase sound: Medium
The last two days the phone has not shown the issue. Now I'm going to try to set Increase sound to High and see if it's still o.k.
Same thing happened to me today as well. I had just installed nitrogen audio player earlier that day. Not sure if it was related.
Same thing happens to me if I increase the acoustic setting in HD Tweak to intermediate level. Revert back to "normal level" and phone works normally.
Interesting, so a sound volume might do it? That's very odd that it affects the microphone too! Anyone have any idea which specific volume might be doing it? I have PhoneAlarm set my volumes based on the time or if there is a current event going on based on its category (ie: work meeting). I wonder if it could be messing with it.
So far no problem after removing Resco Recorder, however... I'm going to leave it off for a week or so then re-install it and see if the problem recurs.
Does anyone know how to disable/change the Wifi coverage warning beep that occurs in-call? It sounds exactly like a call waiting beep so its very distracting in call.
On a side note, has anyone found out how to increase the in-call volume? Its a little weak or Im a little deaf.
Ive never heard this beep youre talking about... and the answer to the second question is just use the volume rocker while youre in a call
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 running Cyanogenmod.
when in a Wi-Fi call, move nearly out of range (1-2 Wi-Fi bars) and you'll get a message popup that warns you about leaving Wi-Fi coverage. -You may have to be in a low signal area for it to activate. Its very annoying -I've actually gotten in the habit of ignoring call waiting beeps since they make the same sound and then I see a missed call after I hang up.
as for the volume issue, I should have been clearer. even at maximum in-call volume, I still have trouble hearing the call.
Has anyone else experienced a problem where the earpiece buzzes when the volume reached a high enough level? For me it happens during the loud part of a word when someone is talking (typically the beginning to the middle of the word), and on the highest two in-call volume settings. I can crank it down two notches and the issue disappears, but it just seems unlikely to me that the highest two settings would be unusable.
I got the same issue too, but only with certain callers though. The worst is when I call *611 to Verizon customer service and listen through the automated rep/music. It would create a buzz or static/distortion sound in the earpiece. Kinda annoying, but luckily I use the bluetooth headset 99% of the time. I just tested the earpiece today on a normal call and can confirm to you that I got similar problem, but again on certain callers only.
Can anybody else confirm this?
Hey guys,
Here's a description of the issue:
I'll be having a conversation on the phone and if there is a bit of wind or noise then the phone will drastically LOWER the volume of the caller. If anything I'd want the callers voice to go UP not down. Once I step out of the wind the callers voice will return to normal volume. It will literally go completely mute during these scenarios, very irritating! Same issue with noise suppression on or off. Is this some sort of "feature" I need to turn off? Why are my calls doing this?
Any help or input appreciated
So everything about the watch is beautiful except for one annoying fact. Whenever I place a call or receive a call, the sound of the other person is so low, that I can hardly hear them. I have the volume on my phone on high for phone calls and music plays loud on my watch, so what is the deal?
Has anyone else experienced this?? Should I go immediately to the store and get a replacement ASAP? or is this a bug that is common with the update or fixable?
Help a girl out, please!:fingers-crossed:
Have you tried adjusting the volume during a phone call on your phone? I think you have to have an active call to be able to adjust the bluetooth volume.
