My subject says it all. Face it the any stock battery is too small, and everyone is buying the extd. battery, so why the heck can't they make hard cases that fit the Droid 2/D2G with extd. batteries?
Does anyone know of a hard case that will fit it, it would seem easy enough to add a second back and charge a few $$$ more for the extra plastic.
Verizon hard cases fit. They have a hump on back just for that reason. They thought ahead.

Thank you. I actually found one over the weekend at the Verizon store. Crappy part is the way it cuts down on the space at the top of the keyboard. I will get used to it, but not a big fan so far, nor of the price they charge.
If you use any case with the battery door removed it seems to work just fine. The extra lift from the extended battery seems to be about the same as the normal battery cover.
I use my seidio innocase with the extended battery but no door and it works fine.

Has anyone tried the Mugen 5400mAh battery? In a review, I read that it allows for around 9 hours of continuous screen time, which is just immense! However, with over half-a-pound of added wait and up to six hour charge times, is it really worth it? Are there other batteries which are better value and have less of an impact on the weight/same size as the stock battery? Can anyone here vouch for the Mugen battery?

What about an improve battery? Are there any good ones for a decent price? The Mugen looks good, but it adds over half a pound of weight which is just ridiculous in my opinion. Also, is there no way to get a car charge without a stand, which is something I flat-out do not need?

Well you can go to Amazon or Ebay and buy any car charger with microUSB connection. They will work with Note just fine.
Also about the battery. If you want more battery capacity it means the battery usually will be bigger and WILL be heavier. It's just a compromise you have to take.
Of course there are the 2700mAh and 3250mAh batteries that are stock size but I don't have any experience with them nor do I remember their brand/model/price.
There are threads for those batteries here in Galaxy Note Accessories subforum, go look there.

Is 3250mAh the largest battery which is still the same as the stock battery and will fit in the normal case? I want the largest possible battery that will still go into any normal case for the phone. Any recommendations for cases? Also, are screen protectors a must?

If you want best protection for your Note get the Otterbox Defender.
For screen protector I would say get the SGP glas.t

I've been using diztronic cases (formerly tpu-cases.com) for a year now and they are fantastic. Adds almost no bulk while providing exceptional protection. Regular price is $9.90 on their website but on amazon they are slightly cheaper. I bought 2 last week for $14 total shipped. The cutouts are NOT perfectly aligned but the case does not block any port, speaker or mic. my battery life is pretty bad nowadays, I think the battery that came with my I9300 is dying, it's draining fast,
So I searched in eBay for a genuine replacement (they sell fakes in my country so..), but I saw that they are probably fake too because of the low price.
but I found the 3000mAH Extended Battery and thought of buying it, untill I saw that my Balliitic SG maxx probably won't fit, and I want my phone to have a good protection, so is there a good case that can provide some decent protection for the phone with the extended battery?
Or.. maybe you know of eBay store that sells genuine I9300 battery or any other online store that sells genuine batteries and that ships internationally?

thanks for the help, but I really don't want my phone to look and feel like a refrigerator, I prefer something at max the size of the 3000. but that it will have a good protective case in the style of ballistic, that gives quite a good protection in case your phone falls on its screen ( which happened a few times with this case and it really saved it)

I am not looking for a regular case, I have ballistic SG maxx and it's great, but I wanted to know what cases are going to fit the 3000mAh samsung extended battery and that will provide same level of protection (but I highly doubt there are)
Diztronic is the only case for the extended battery that I know of.

The Diztronic cases are great. Really good quality, and relatively inexpensive too. I have the matt Black one on mine.
I only wish they came in more colors (I'd really like a red one).

I have been using the PowerGlider since Jan 30. I am happy with the product. It looks good, I get 2 or 3 days out of a full charge. However I have not been able to find a holster that will fit the phone. Other than that I am satisfied with it.
How big does it make the phone? Does it make it hard to hold it in one hand and is it hard to fit it in your pants pocket?

Have you tried using it with an OTG device? My limefuel will not see the OTG adapter but will show up as a device in my computer.
Quick question wondering if anyone using this case tried the fast charging mod with this case? Any chance of faster charge speed with the mod would be great since this case looks more appealing then the limefuel
Hi, I am the proud owner of the S6, but my only gripe is the battery in it being small and doesnt really stand up to a days useage without having to be charged. I am interested in buying a battery extender case, but i want a flip cover to prote t the screen, but i also want it with either a clear flip front like the clearview case or a cut put in the front to view notifications. My question is where sells these, i can only see 1 online but it hasnt great reviews, i would prefer a battery case that isn't too bulky and with visible notification without having to open the cover. Would anyone know where I can be purchase 1 of these from? If so please could you post the links in this thread. Thanks in advance.
