Problem rooting

Hi i folling this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2634196
I got problem att step #3 "Flash SO-02F_14.1.H.1.281_docomo.ftf (WIPE: select all, EXCLUDE: select none)"
SO-02F_14.1.H.1.281_docomo.ftf IS located in flashtool/firmware folder
Flashtoool is open , i click ón flash but the file does not show up as on option to use.
Verison 14.3.A.0.681
Kernel 3.4.0-perk-g8c33725
What is it im doing wrong?

Or am i supposed to use flashmode at step 3?
i see to have problem starting that too for some reason, i start phone while pusing volume down, but it starts normaly, No flahsing Led etc.'

Wouldt say i struggle, But buttom line is i cant get 'SO-02F_14.1.H.1.281_docomo.ftf' to show up in flashtool, im trying and it feels ridiciouls its not like im sitting at a computer for the first time, but there someting im missing.
Im new to android, never had problem like this unlocking other OS in the past.

Welcome to Sony. Reboot your comp and if it still doesn't show up then god knows.

Have you got latest version of flashtool installed?
Not near my pc, but am sure theres the option to browse for the ftf file in flashtool? Just make sure source folder is pointed to the firmware folder your ftf is in and flash.

have you checked for rom hashes ?

If the hash is wrong, you simply redownload the file.

[Need Help] ZE551ML Bootloop and No Fastboot

So, recently I tried to use this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/development/stock-rom-ul-z00a-ww-2-20-40-168-t3354526
after revert back from CM13 custom ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zen.../rom-cyanogenmod-13-0-nightly-builds-t3264492
But the result is my phone stuck in Asus logo.
Tried to access recovery by pressing power button + volume up but cannot go into recovery.
Tried to connect phone to PC via USB cable but the phone is not detected (cannot try fastboot from PC).
Here is what I did before my phone bricked:
1. Reboot into recovery (I'm using TWRP)
2. Wipe everything except MicroSD
3. Install SuperSU (downloaded from the thread)
4. Install ROM v168 (downloaded from the thread)
5. Reboot system
After that my phone stuck in Asus logo.
Tried to search solution from many sources still no luck. Already posted in the thread but still no answer from anyone.
Please help because I don't have backup phone :crying:

Did you really flash supersu before you flashed the Rom? That's probably the cause. Have you tried any of the bootloop solutions posted here yet?

Yup, tried this method and my phone is resurrected.
But the content of that tutorial was hard to understand at the beginning

I've followed the steps provided in the thread so I assumed that superSU was flashed already.
How to verify if it's flashed or not? Can I verify before moving on to the next step?
My phone is resurrected now thanks to steps provided by summit.
Could it be because I was using TWRP before?

i had problem like you. i dont have bootloader and fastboot. i use xFSTK-Downloader.

1. Make sure your device shows up for awhile during boot
(when the phone vibrates upon boot)
2. Make sure you selected MOOREFIELDS.
3. Once done selecting the files " change the gp override flag under OPTION to 0x80000807"

First remove battery > Press Vol (+) > After 5 seconds plug the USB cable in the phone and PC. > Put the battery back > Wait for the "Download Mode" in screen.
Now download LG Bridge and recover your software!

yes i can enter to download mode but lg bridge doesnt recognize my phone i tried lg bridge, lgup, lg flash tool 2014, lg mobile support tool doesnt work in my phone

Thanks a lot for your follow on my problem but thats the very first guide i tried and didnt work, then i moved to the previous one u showd me and also saw another one from "Vikram something" channel and am always getting the same error at the last step when trying to flash it on flashtool.

Join Telegram group and some can teach you. Try open both new bypass and sp flash tools. After finish bypass, quickly press Download button. If still error, try press Power+Volume Up for 10s, then connect to cable, after finish bypass, quickly release button and press Download.

Hi,
Something is weird about this dump. Upon opening this file I am greeted with the persist-lg partition and only that partition for some reason, nothing else notable for a bringup (I am trying to bring up some custom ROM/recovery for Q910UM).
Would you be willing to redo the dump, but use this tool instead: https://github.com/bkerler/edl
after getting this installed you can do following steps:
- boot to edl
- open command prompt
- run mkdir dumps
- run edl rl dumps --memory=ufs --genxml
then you can just delete userdata_a/b, zip the whole dumps folder and throw it somewhere online.

A twrp for the q910 variant has been uploaded.
Sooner or later we will update to unified twrp supporting all q910 q927 variants.
