Im getting this error message while flashing the rom

Hi. I think you must upgrade your TWRP. Download from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/android-rom-ota/files/TWRP_Recovery/
Flash the newest built, I recommend the July 29, 2018 built, you won't find the same error 7 or 6 again (no need to remove assert etc).*

Temporary fix for those having random screen off/ on issue
Pls do not ask question on how to install this temporary fix at the cm-13.0 thread, this is not an official fix, if you wanna help out then install Syslog, use the ROM for at least a day then capture those logs. Now follow the below to install this temporary fix, again use it for at least a day then use Syslog to capture the fixed log & report it here so that crpalmer can have a look at it & possibly fixing it. Fyi, i don't have this random screen off/ on problem
It will be best that anyone of you with this screen off/ on problem to capture a video, upload it to youtube so that crpalmer can actually 'see' that random screen off/ on issue himself
Procedure
Refer to this post for the boot.img, extract it to the sdcard & use TWRP to install it

Tried , everything is working great .
Over all ,best of all available ROMs right now. Battery backup is pretty amazing .
And the **** am facing from cm13 still exists on aicp too .

The fingerprint sensor will not work until it is fixed in CM13, so you'll have to wait.

I see that you asked the same question in the Resurrection Remix ROM thread as well.
Are you sure you are doing a clean flash, flashing the correct GAPPS & wiping Cache/Dalvik before booting? GAPPs version being wrong is the usual suspect for set up crash.

Yes the same problem but second device. I do always a clean install, use the newest GApp package (recommended package). I try a second install later the same as Resurrection Remix!

Clean flash ROM along with gapps.
Booting the ROM first and flashing gapps before second boot will crash setup wizard as well.
So flash the ROM+gapps simultaneously and proceed to first boot .

Same issue here. With this ROM and Resurrection Remix it craches at startup. Only CM 13 goes fine. I don´t know why...
I get wifi issues when on this rom or any other rom based on cm13... :/ the wifi i use for a long time doesnt get connected again... :/

i try restarting or changing the security... still it doesnt get connected... all other wifi networks are visible but not the one i use

Check if the zip is corrupted, try extracting it or re-download.

Yeah i did, there is nothing wrong with the Zip file, it extracts properly

Make sure you have the 1.2gb system partition.
Then wipe everything in twrp( except internel,etc)
reboot recovery, flash the rom.

It's obviously a problem at your end, because no one else has it.
Status 7 is usually a corrupt zip, so I'd recommend re-downloading. It would also help if you could paste the entire recovery log.
Everything is working fine for me till now except the camera.Camera doesn't work

Okay now got the problem fixed, it was an issue with the latest TWRP. I downgraded to the older version and then flashed the rom and it is currently booting now. Thanks for the support

You get lots of customization options in RR and that is the benifit

Congratulations then, you've come to the right thread!
Here is a build of stock ROM which can be flashed directly from any custom recovery without the need for spft.
Note : This build is based off devagya awasthi's stock-debloated build and much of the credit goes to him for the original build.
Now, let's start off :
Edit : Following info is wrt build 2.
What's in the zip?
---> The zip contains the stock S228 (Android M) that a7k got as ota. Also, since this build is debloated, only Pico Gapps are present (surprise?)
Is it pure stock?
---> The original build by devagya had some bugs here and there. I fixed those and placed proper apps in place.
---> So you can say, it ain't pure stock, but it is 99.9% stock (everything except Gapps)
Are the lags of vibe ui fixed?
---> The rom is basically the same as released by Lenovo (almost) so the functionality is same as pure stock. I can't do anything about it.
Is it stable ? Bugs?
---> This is stock dude! And moreover, released by me! How could you even think of that!
The Gapps are outdated!?
---> Nooo. I included latest Gapps on releasing build 2... Gapps Pico arm64 6.0 29June release.
I hate stock ROM and all vibe ROMs. Why are they still coming up?
---> I don't make ROMs with YOU in mind. I think of the greater part of the community and tbh many out there are finding and/or using stock/vibe ROMs. If you hate it, get out of this thread. Now.
Installation instructions :
1) Wipe system, cache, dalvik.
2) Wipe data and check whether it is truly wiped or not. Check it by seeing the size of data in the backup option of twrp.
3) Flash this ROM zip.
4) Optional : Flash Gapps arm64 android 6.0.x now. Not necessary since Pico Gapps are already present.
5) Wait for the flash to complete.
6) Wait dude. You'll get to the next step. Let the flash complete xD.
7) What's the hurry?
8) Want coffee?
9) When flash is finished, reboot to system. (Or simply reboot -_-).

Information :
1) I don't know why... But in any stock build, flash doesn't work if you toggle it using wide touch. However, flash works completely fine from the quick settings and/or and other app.

3) Updated Gapps to latest Pico Gapps (Gapps date : 29 June 2017)
4) Removed pre-included chrome and play music which somehow were useless because the ROM removed them on flashing Gapps.
5) Size of build is pretty much the same.(769mb)
(This is because of the removal of chrome and play music balances adding focus, phonograph and new Gapps)
6) Renewed boot image (supports magisk and SuperSU. Also, other kernel zips can be flashed)
7) Stock kernel included (it won't drain battery like it did in build 1 idk why)

I went balls to the wall and rooted immediately with lastest SuperSU. Everything works great. Thank you so much, you achieved in this ROM everything a I wanted.

First time installing Lineage to your Nokia 3:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy Lineage zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).

Install fresh 8.1 by updating ota without installing any 3rd apps and do full backup in twrp, you can get boot.img, system.img and others, that's how i got 8.0 boot.img and recovery.img. There are guides about that. That's my suggestion.

USB - You are unable to change the default USB config using your notification settings you can go to settings > developer options> default usb config. to change it in there.
Wallpapers - The live wallpaper picker will now crash by default switch to a static wallpaper as mentioned on older versions and disable the app if you encounter lag or battery drain.
Notes:
- Since i haven't managed to find a GCAM good enough to my comfort my standards yet i recommend you guys to use footej cam from the play store since you can record in 4K too!
- A way to fix the high cpu freq stuck bug is to make a script that runs on boot using either FKM or kernel adiutor and pasting this code from del.dog > https://del.dog/lapucunoqa.shell
when you create a script it should say system/bin or something after that press enter and paste the above code and make sure it runs on boot (ONLY DO THIS IF YOU EXPERIENCE THIS ISSUE CREDITS TO @eternityson FOR THIS FIX)
- To revert the repartition flash any stock version you want using edl you can find guides on how to do that on internet ^-^

Hiyaa welp i havent tried it myself there is someone that succeeded it so feel free to try it do note that if it doesnt work that i recommand clean flashing 10.0.10.0 before asking for help.

for some reason xda keeps reverting the changes link will up in a sec, oh and its semi-stable i would say if you follow the guide everything should be fine beside the mentions bugs and no this is actually the first version of Q 10.r1 from walleye if im right (pixel 2) the system reports Pixel 2 XL because i used those props to pass cts and we get acces to ar stuff etc!

So i have downloaded the ROM ,tried to install it as you said: But then i have an error: Failed to mount vendor (invalid argument) ,right after this error,it says everything done,no need to install any patch,then reboot, but when i hit the reboot to system button,TWRP says : No OS installed. Tried almost everything: Fresh stock installation, tried to flash without formatting the system,tried to change slots.Every try gives me a boot loop,or no OS installed. Any advice?

Ah Hiya can you use edl? you need to download mi flash and boot to fastboot when in fastboot type fastboot oem edl and open mi flash after that select your installer directory (you should be able to get what i mean hopefully >-<) and make sure that you select CLEAN not clean and lock after that boot to twrp and flash repartition after that boot twrp again and flash 2.1 should work that way lemme know!

That was the first thing ,that i did after the first fail, i will try again ,but with different stock rom version and will get back to you

I have found the problem! It is with the Repartition script zip file, i have used another one ,that i was using for flashing beta preview Android Q and it worked from the 1st try, now testing
