It takes time bro. It's a brand new device let peoples buy it and also xioami is making a mess with new delayed bootloader unlocking policy so many peoples are still waiting to unlock it. Let the device sources come and hope we will see some development, and as it is rom and kernel development section so please move this thread to Questions and answer section or General section. So today android oreo (go edition) is announced and will start to roll out from 6th dec. 2017.
I would like to ask devs if they are interested to bring it up for armani because most of the roms these days are heavy and it would be really awesome to have it on our device since it is aimed for devices with 512mb to 1gb ram.

I hope there will be a lineage GO version for the redmi 1S.
The present ROM's are too big. The device becomes slakky.
With de GO version maybe the redmi 1S gets a second life.

Try lineage microg ROM or other roms with nanomod go without gapps try fdroid apps as alternatives, it's highly unlikely we get fully working oreo ROM ( camera issue mainly )

Hello everyone, I really wanted to tell you my opinion in this section that is the one dedicated more to the development of generic Treble ROMs and also specific for some devices. My question is, why do not even a project embrace Xiaomi Daisy? Many GSIs are not perfectly optimized for the device and unfortunately sometimes you get into various bugs. I would like not a little, to see some project even perhaps addressed to him. But this is my opinion, I hope it can be taken into consideration. As always, thank you all for what you do.
There are Lineage OS roms in development for a2 lite. those will be perfectly optimised.
and once they're released, surely other customized ROMs will follow. so just stay tunedn

I really want to miui rom for mi a2 lite because in my country i cant get a good miui device like this specs. (i cant even get redmi 6 pro illegal ways )

Actually I test rom for developers , los 16 is fine but vendor stock have error , the dev compile vendor lineage . So just wait for custom rom daisy ...

Managed to do it using resources from the Redmi Note 8 Discussions Telegram Channel. Just do a search for it and you'd likely find it.
Currently running PE Android 10 Unofficial. Some bugs but as this is a secondary phone not a big deal to me.
Same question here. I can see in phhusson's Github documentation that Redmi Note 8 is one of the devices which has successfully booted his AOSP GSI and I can't see any indepth guide and discussion on how it can be done here in XDA.
Some do claim that they were able to run it while here I am trying to make it work with no success. Be it AOSP 9 GSI or 10 it just won't work at all. I followed the GSI installation tutorial for the Mi 8 here with the same old results. The Redmi logo just keeps on bootlooping after following all instructions.
If there's anyone who were really able to boot these GSIs to their Ginkgos, do leave a reply here on what worked for you so that we can also give it a try. Much appreciated.

I've try to flash GSI (phh-treble 10 V208) But the phone direct reboot in TWRP after that.... I wipe everything except vendor and flash gsi throught system but nothing work...
Also I have 8T (Willow) but it should works the same as Ginko... Any helps ?

Yes it will come, but its too early now. It will take some time. As of now lineage and carbon is in works. As per past experiences. Many roms start supporting after first android upgrade (for 9 series its android 12). But there will be few a11 roms . Its better to wait.

Why hasn't been an official TWRP developed for Redmi Note 9 Pro...vs. older and new ones have.. any idea?
I guess it's the same situation as with Lineage for certain devices - there is nobody willing to maintain the software's port to a specific device.
